Where: Starting in Pisces and moving around the city!
Summary: Minako drags Minato out of bed to explore! And hopefully they'll run into more people on the way...

Earlier...

Oh, how wonderful it was to finally have been allowed to go to their apartments and get some sleep! If he were awake, Minato would have barely remembered staggering through the door and collapsing on his bed. Or futon. Whatever it was. It didn't really matter to him presently, as he was sound asleep, still in his (singed and smokey) school uniform. At least he'd remembered to remove his shoes, though he did seem to have forgotten to lock his door.



Later...

With the sleepyhead up, washed, in clean clothes and out the door, it was time for the two of them to explore! Apartments were all well and good, but there was so much more to the city than mere residential districts. So of course that meant it was time to find the subway station, hop on a tube and go exploring!

Besides, knowing where things were was the first step in finding a good place to get a job, get food to eat, engage in various activities to raise one's social stats, etc...

Kanaya smiles at their little exchange. "If you don't mind, I believe I will come to visit you on occasion as well."

"That'd be great!"

Now was probably the time to get to know their new acquaintance better. "What kinds of hobbies do you have, Kanaya-chan?"

"I don't mind."

He likes visitors. Unless he's asleep. Then he doesn't like them as much, but he's not going to say that. Kanaya just might... have to knock a little loudly on his door. But he's otherwise quiet, listening while his sister does most of the getting-to-know-you questioning.

"Hobbies?" Kanaya had quite a lot of those. "Well, I'm fond of designing and creating clothing, primarily. Another of my favored activities is gardening. And I am quite fond of books." She stopped herself there, predicting a rant coming on; she remembered Lizzie's response to her rambling, and it wouldn't do to have two people staring at her uncomprehendingly.

"I've never done much gardening myself..." Aside from watering the flowers when Theo asked. "But I was in a 'Fashion Club' at school. Well, it was just me and one other student, but we had fun designing and making things."

"It started out with three students, though. Unfortunately the third had to return home partway through the term, so it was just us in the end..." Minato is in agreement with his sister that it seems easiest to hide that they are from different worlds, but he doesn't want to lie and say he wasn't in a club when he was. It occurs to him with this slip that he and Minako really need to discuss who they each knew and didn't know...

"A club?" Like, with other people? "How lucky for you. Even with only a few other people, that sounds like a very enjoyable experience." It sounded as if Minato was the 'other student' Minako mentioned; any other person might have thought it odd that Minako would talk about her brother like a stranger, Kanaya didn't point it out. "Perhaps you two could try to open up that club again here in Hinoto-Ri; with the variety of people living here, I'm sure there are many who are still interested in those arts."

Minako is thrown a little off-guard - of all the things she'd done, she hadn't expected Fashion Club with Bebe to be something Minato had been interested in, too. But since Kanaya doesn't seem to have noticed or acknowledged her slip, she doesn't draw attention to it by explaining further and continues, full speed ahead. "Would you want to join it if we did?"

"It'd probably be a bit different from a school club here..."

In that it wouldn't have to meet after school and wouldn't have any sort of backing - space or funding provided by someone else.

"Of course I would." Kanaya smiled. She was fortunate enough to have someone who shared her interests as a next-door neighbor, but... oh. Speaking of Lizzie... "I have a friend who is presently looking into founding a boarding school for girls," she said. "When she finds a premises on which to build her school, I am sure she will agree to let you two use some rented space to hold the meetings, even if they are unisex."

"Oh, that'd be great! We'd still have to find equipment, like sewing machines..." That might get a little expensive. "But it'd be easier to have a space than to try and use someone's apartment."

[fools_journey]

"We'd be able to hand sew at first if need be..." Or knit or crochet or something. They don't already have enough extraneous craft skills, clearly!

"Yes. A public space would make it easier for everyone." She'd certainly hate to clean up after so many people in her tiny apartment. "Perhaps we can look into selling what we make for funding."

"That's not a bad idea either. Maybe someplace in the arts district would be interested."

"Perhaps we can go there and look."

"Well, if the arts district is nearby, I don't see why not." Kanaya turned her attention back to the map, flattening it out a bit so that she could read where they would have to go if they wanted to end up in Scorpio.

"That's a good plan..." She traces the route with her finger too, slow enough that Kanaya should be able to follow since she's still learning subway survival. "It shouldn't be too many stops, either."
