I wanted to be a lumberjack...
Who: Minako & Minato Arisato and YOU
Where: Starting in Pisces and moving around the city!
Summary: Minako drags Minato out of bed to explore! And hopefully they'll run into more people on the way...
Warnings:uncalled for violence with pillows none
ooc: first thread reserved for Minako's wake-up call, but otherwise the twins will be out and about. Please feel free to threadjack or start a new thread if you want them to run into your character or wish to run into them!
Earlier...
Oh, how wonderful it was to finally have been allowed to go to their apartments and get some sleep! If he were awake, Minato would have barely remembered staggering through the door and collapsing on his bed. Or futon. Whatever it was. It didn't really matter to him presently, as he was sound asleep, still in his (singed and smokey) school uniform. At least he'd remembered to remove his shoes, though he did seem to have forgotten to lock his door.
Later...
With the sleepyhead up, washed, in clean clothes and out the door, it was time for the two of them to explore! Apartments were all well and good, but there was so much more to the city than mere residential districts. So of course that meant it was time to find the subway station, hop on a tube and go exploring!
Besides, knowing where things were was the first step in finding a good place to get a job, get food to eat, engage in various activities to raise one's social stats, etc...

The first thing she discovers is that he still looks very cute when he's asleep. Age may have made him uncute in other ways, but at least that's still intact.
Second, she's now going to mother hen him even more than she was planning to previously, because unlocked door + asleep still at this hour with a person entering his bedroom = this kid doesn't know how to take care of himself. Congratulations Minato, you're now on the list of men she must micromanage.
"Minato?"
No answer. She tiptoes over to the bed and prods his shoulder.
no subject
The prod gets him to stir a little, though, and he makes a groggy indistinct noise. Then he rolls away. He might have been trying to form the words 'there's no school today' but you'd never know it, the way he sort of said it into his pillow.
no subject
Minako pulls it out from under his head, and then thwaps him with it.
no subject
Startled and completely disoriented, Minato wakes with something of a jerking flail at the pillow. He also makes another unclear garbled noise of protest before wakefulness really sinks in, and he blinks up at his sister, horribly confused and rather put out.
"Mi..nako?"
That was really, really, really uncool. Not as uncool as dumping icewater on him but still really uncool!
no subject
Nope. She's not even a tiny bit apologetic. Also, she still has the pillow.
no subject
Also, -- wait, what is she doing here? What is he doing here? This place doesn't seem familiar at all. ... it's familiar enough, however, that he decides he doesn't care, so he yawns and sits up, rubbing his eyes.
"What are you doing..." It's more of a sigh than a question.

He looks around the room. "What time is it?"
no subject
That he's the oldest really still doesn't matter.no subject
But first, he takes the opportunity to gently throw his pillow at his sister's face. This take precedence over all other morning rituals.
no subject
"Hurry up, okay? I'm hungry, we can go get breakfast together."
She lets him be now in favor of looking around the apartment and seeing what things were brought there for him.
no subject
Aside from clothes and school supplies, he also has his violin, a sword, his laptop, random social link items (some of which she might recognize)... of course some of the items and things like his evoker and the bookmark and orb from Elizabeth are in his bedroom.
But either way in a short while he comes out hair still damp but otherwise ready to go. He still looks a bit sleepy but that might just be his default.
no subject
...Going down that line of thought makes her wonder about something he'd once said. "I would still like you, no matter if you were a guy or a girl." She glances over her shoulder at Minato coming out of the bathroom door. What exactly went on in your world, anyway?
"Ready now?" ...Hm. Wait. "You'll catch cold going out with wet hair. Here."
She snags his towel and starts to vigorously rub it against his scalp. Whatever comb job you did before to get your perfect emo style is now ruined.
no subject
"Hang the towel there," he grumbles, pointing to the bathroom door. If she's going to take it, it's her responsibility now. Besides, he needs to adjust to suddenly having someone to poke at him like this. Not that he minds exactly. It's just... different. He thinks maybe it's even pretty nice. Even the messed up hair.
no subject
She hangs up the towel, then sees if he'll allow her to approach him again. "Ready now?"
no subject
sort of.
Anyway, he shoves his hands in his pockets and nods. He's got his wallet, comp, mp3 player, headphones and clothes. What else does he need?
no subject
But that's probably a lost cause so she heads for the door. Will you let her take your hand at least?
no subject
But yeah, he'll let her take his hand. He'll take his hand out of his pocket for that. And look - look, he is locking his front door, after putting his shoes on. Aren't you proud of him?
no subject
For now, they need to head to the subway stop, though!
no subject
Well even if you are, Minato lets his sister take the lead down the stairs after which he walks beside her. But his attention is much less on where they are going or the prospect of breakfast as it is on her. Getting used to her.
no subject
Minako marches ahead, pretending this is Entirely Normal and she knows Exactly What She's Doing. Because... it's her brother. Maybe she's just a little too desperate to prove he's still her family.
...Or maybe she just likes pushing boys around. It could be that too.
She leads him towards the subway and they take a train towards the district she's heard has the best restaurants. Starting with food is always good. "What kind of breakfast do you like?"
no subject
And see how she walks and dresses - and he finds the way she's pushy and she marches and drags him to be nice. It's familiar, and it makes him think that maybe he does still know her pretty well.
But when the subject of breakfast comes up, he shrugs. "Um... I like pastries... you?" Breakfast isn't really his favorite meal, and he's prone to skipping it when running late for school. Lunch and dinner, however - they're where it's at.
