Who: Open to Everyone, but only Newly Accepted Characters can start threads.
Where: All around the city! They appear where you want them to appear.
Summary: Newcomers arrive and by now the Government is more ready and sends everyone out to go people hunting.
Warnings: ARRIVALS. Also assume the first thread is the ones who tell you about the city, and the other tags for the character can be talking with others in the city and learning more about it.

[FOR THOSE IN THE CITY:]
It was Grand Prix frenzy by this time. The streets were filled with people watching every available television screen, crowds in the bigger areas of Scorpio district with the larger screen.

Now the HORUS detection system was working again. The device allowed everyone to spot abnormalities; and while it was being re-tuned to work with the appearing buildings, they could hone in on newcomers at a much faster pace. The leftover energy from the travel (commonly called Magatama Residue) gave them a few minutes to find them before it would flicker out.

Combined with the fact they could appear in most parts of the city, it made finding the newcomers was both easy yet frustratingly difficult.

As the blips appear on your own radar function, it was also nice enough to calculate for you the best transport and destination routes to take to get there. Speed was of the essence, after all.

[FOR THOSE WHO JUST ARRIVED:]
You're not in your homeworld anymore. That much is evident. So how do you feel? Happy? Sad? Troubled? A little of all three? No matter what, the memories of a butterfly man named Philemon are fading like a dream; you'll remember the details, but perhaps not everything he has said.

There is one word that stays with you, however.

Persona.

So...here to save the city, huh? First you'll need to find out more information. And who knows, maybe a familiar face or two...

But why are everyone huddle around large televisions screens for some reason?

[OOC: As stated above, only new characters can start a thread, but feel free to jump in any of them. characters arrive with their clothing and whatever items they had on them the moment they were taken; the remaining items will be later found in their apartments.]

Well, that's interesting. Another dog - and this one looks to be a robot! Which means... the boy in the blue armor must be one too? Maybe? Unable to resist checking it out, Nano approaches the pair.

"Um... excuse me?"

It is indeed another robot! Both Rush and Rock turn to face Nano after she greets them. Rock waves a bit with a small smile. "Hello there! Do you need help with something? I'm... Not from around here, really, but I'll do what I can if you do need something."

[all_wound_up]

"Oh, no, it's not that!"

Nano shakes her head, holding her hands up.

"I just couldn't help but notice... your dog. Is he, um..."

[flyonadog]

That gets a small head-tilt, and then a grin as Rock stoops down and puts a hand on Rush's head. Given the kind of questions he'd get at home, he had an idea where this was going. "A robot? Yeah!"

"That's amazing...! I didn't know there were robot dogs, too!"

Nano leans down, laughing and smiling as she holds out a hand palm-up in front of Rush.

"What's his name? Can I pet him?"

Unknown to Nano, the key on her back has begun to cheerfully spin in reaction to her excitement.

"Where I come from, there's all kinds of robots, for all kinds of things!" There's a pretty pertinent degree of excitement in his voice, but he'll hold out from rambling about the wonders of his world. For now. In the meantime, Rush takes the chance to lick Nano's hand.

"His name's Rush, and sure--" Rock answers, pausing as he notices the spinning key. "...are you a robot, too, miss?"

[all_wound_up]

Nano giggles cheerfully at the lick, moving her hand to pat Rush's head.

"Awww, good boy, Rush!"

She is momentarily stopped short by his question, though. Normally Nano would try to make up a lie about this, but if she's dealing with a fellow robot...

"Um... yes, that's right."

Of course, the answer still comes out rather awkwardly, and she seems to be glancing around to make sure nobody heard her admit that out loud.

Rush will rub his head into the petting hand, quite pleased with the attention. Rock, however, will look a bit perplexed by her reaction, then his expression will get a bit sober. "...do people not like robots here?"

[all_wound_up]

"No, it's not them... it's me," Nano replies with a small thoughtful frown. "I've always just wanted to fit in with people, so I try not to mention it. But this key really makes me stand out, doesn't it?"

[flyonadog]

"Ohhhh..." Rock nods a bit at her explanation, though he pauses at her question for a moment before a slightly sheepish grin crosses his face. "Yeah, just a bit," he answers. "I think it's neat, though!"

[all_wound_up]

"Thank you..." Nano replies, looking a little sheepish herself. "It's really only there to look cute in the first place, but it gets in the way a lot. I've always wanted to be able to sleep on my back, or sit in chairs normally."

[flyonadog]

That gets a rather perplexed look out of Rock, and he tilts his head. "If it's just cosmetic, then why not get it removed? Or at least able to be taken out so you can sit in chairs and stuff?"

[all_wound_up]

Nano frowns just a bit.

"I can't actually take it out on my own. And it's... complicated. Someone very special to me gave me this."

[flyonadog]

"Oh! I see..." Rock looks a bit awkward for a moment, then holds his hands out, palms up as he offers a different solution. "Would it harm anything to just have it taken out as needed, then put back in afterward? If you had the necessary help, that is..."

[all_wound_up]

Nano thinks on that for a moment.

"Well... no, I don't think so. It really doesn't do much of anything, and I don't need it to function."

Still, though, there's the sentimentality aspect.

[flyonadog]

"Well, there you go!" Rock grins a little. "At least, the option's there if you want to do that," he clarifies.

[all_wound_up]

"That's true, I suppose... I've always just felt embarrassed about asking anyone to remove it for me."

[flyonadog]

"That's understandable - even if it is removable, it's still a part of you. Not really something you'd ask just anyone to do."

[all_wound_up]

"Yes, exactly," Nano replies with a shy nod. "You understand, I'm sure."

[flyonadog]

Rock nods in return with an understanding look. "Yeah - I wouldn't want just anybody doing repairs on my more sensitive parts. Not quite the same, but..."

"It's a lot like that, yes."
