Who: Open to Everyone, but only Newly Accepted Characters can start threads.
Where: All around the city! They appear where you want them to appear.
Summary: Newcomers arrive and by now the Government is more ready and sends everyone out to go people hunting.
Warnings: ARRIVALS. Also assume the first thread is the ones who tell you about the city, and the other tags for the character can be talking with others in the city and learning more about it.

[FOR THOSE IN THE CITY:]
It was Grand Prix frenzy by this time. The streets were filled with people watching every available television screen, crowds in the bigger areas of Scorpio district with the larger screen.

Now the HORUS detection system was working again. The device allowed everyone to spot abnormalities; and while it was being re-tuned to work with the appearing buildings, they could hone in on newcomers at a much faster pace. The leftover energy from the travel (commonly called Magatama Residue) gave them a few minutes to find them before it would flicker out.

Combined with the fact they could appear in most parts of the city, it made finding the newcomers was both easy yet frustratingly difficult.

As the blips appear on your own radar function, it was also nice enough to calculate for you the best transport and destination routes to take to get there. Speed was of the essence, after all.

[FOR THOSE WHO JUST ARRIVED:]
You're not in your homeworld anymore. That much is evident. So how do you feel? Happy? Sad? Troubled? A little of all three? No matter what, the memories of a butterfly man named Philemon are fading like a dream; you'll remember the details, but perhaps not everything he has said.

There is one word that stays with you, however.

Persona.

So...here to save the city, huh? First you'll need to find out more information. And who knows, maybe a familiar face or two...

But why are everyone huddle around large televisions screens for some reason?

[OOC: As stated above, only new characters can start a thread, but feel free to jump in any of them. characters arrive with their clothing and whatever items they had on them the moment they were taken; the remaining items will be later found in their apartments.]

[Okay, strange new world full of all kinds of people. He can roll with that except... wait. What's up with that dude with the mustache? And that tacky ship he just climbed out of...

Okay, this he has to see up close. Smirking, he strides towards Eggman and eyes his Egg Mobile.]

[Frowning, Eggman adjusts his black lens and gets a closer look at the questioning boy. He clenches his fists and throws them up at the air, slamming them down like he's whacking moles at turbo.]

Of course it does! Well, it doesn't work right now, if that's what you're asking, but it works! Everything I make works!

[He throws down his arms one last time and grits his teeth.]

Would you like to see it work? Then please, kindly help me relocate my hovercraft to somewhere with proper equipment.

[...Wow, this guy really is something. While some might find his reactions horrifying or at least intimidating, Riku simply folds his arms.]

What am I, your butler? If it's such an amazing invention, it'd be working right now.

Technical difficulties. Even the greatest of machinery has some in its lifespan.

[He gives Riku a dismissing hand and walks back to his hovercraft. There are only so many tools he has on hand, but maybe he can get it up and running just enough to find a workbench. Leaning down, he pries open the equivalent of a car's hood except beneath the vehicle and begins tinkering around with the wires.]

Besides, I doubt you can comprehend just how complicated this piece of equipment is. I don't need heckling from the cheap seats! Ow!

[A static shock from a green wire penetrates his gloved hand. He shakes his arm to rid himself of the pain.]

[...Hah. Sorry, old man, but that little spark makes Riku burst into laughter.]

Complicated, huh? Are you sure you don't mean faulty?

You have no right to laugh at me, you terrible, little urchin!

[Giving the Egg Mobile a swift kick, it finally begins to levitate. Robotnik closes its hood and gets up.]

Hah! Finally! Perseverance and genius once again solve a problem. Not irritable mocking.

[...Huh, well then. Riku brings a hand to his chin, glancing back at the floating vehicle.]

Okay, fine, it floats. I'll give you that. Question is, does it do anything else?
