Who: Open to Everyone, but only Newly Accepted Characters can start threads.
Where: All around the city! They appear where you want them to appear.
Summary: Newcomers arrive and by now the Government is more ready and sends everyone out to go people hunting.
Warnings: ARRIVALS. Also assume the first thread is the ones who tell you about the city, and the other tags for the character can be talking with others in the city and learning more about it.

[FOR THOSE IN THE CITY:]
It was Grand Prix frenzy by this time. The streets were filled with people watching every available television screen, crowds in the bigger areas of Scorpio district with the larger screen.

Now the HORUS detection system was working again. The device allowed everyone to spot abnormalities; and while it was being re-tuned to work with the appearing buildings, they could hone in on newcomers at a much faster pace. The leftover energy from the travel (commonly called Magatama Residue) gave them a few minutes to find them before it would flicker out.

Combined with the fact they could appear in most parts of the city, it made finding the newcomers was both easy yet frustratingly difficult.

As the blips appear on your own radar function, it was also nice enough to calculate for you the best transport and destination routes to take to get there. Speed was of the essence, after all.

[FOR THOSE WHO JUST ARRIVED:]
You're not in your homeworld anymore. That much is evident. So how do you feel? Happy? Sad? Troubled? A little of all three? No matter what, the memories of a butterfly man named Philemon are fading like a dream; you'll remember the details, but perhaps not everything he has said.

There is one word that stays with you, however.

Persona.

So...here to save the city, huh? First you'll need to find out more information. And who knows, maybe a familiar face or two...

But why are everyone huddle around large televisions screens for some reason?

[OOC: As stated above, only new characters can start a thread, but feel free to jump in any of them. characters arrive with their clothing and whatever items they had on them the moment they were taken; the remaining items will be later found in their apartments.]

Uh, not sure, but I kind of have a theory... and it's not easily solvable.

[Hmm, this kid looked easily scared, and although most people here took his Demon King status in stride, he wasn't so sure about this one]

[Sorry I'm slow! Aladdin perks up at the older boy's words, then follows with a determined look. He nods twice to indicate firmness.]

Yes. I promise not to!

[Although he looks really naive, he has actually been through and seen a lot. Past the innocence is a sign of hidden fierceness behind his large eyes.]

Okay...

[Wow that sudden fire in Aladdin took him by surprise, but Kazuya forged on]

I'm a Demon King, and my powers aren't working 'coz the demons I ate aren't settling in my stomach properly.

[WELP. Let's see how he reacts to that]

[That is a surprising statement. A mix of curiosity and concern fills his mind at the same time, wondering what he means by "demons" and... "in my stomach."

This person, he eats his own kind?]

Um... You're a Demon King, but you eat demons?

[Kazuya caught the implication there, and heaved a sigh. Now onto the confusing part]

Uuuuh, it's sort of complicated. I was human, but um, I somehow got entered into a competition for the throne of Bel and - uh, long story short, I won and ate the loser's for their power. Okay! It's kind of weird, but, whatever. I can't use my powers because I'm not able to absorb them here for some reason.

[... That was actually kind of sad. The idea of a competition, yet the loss of life awaits at the end. What was the reason?

Aladdin is curious, but he shouldn't pry. He has to respect the fact that they're from completely different worlds. There must've been reasons for it all. His focus only needs to attend to what he must.]

I think I understand what you mean... There's something different in this world. Even the flow of life here feels so different compared to my home's...

[Aladdin didn't test it out yet, but he has a feeling some of his own powers have been affected equally.]

Yeah. That. Something's just different here.

[And too removed from Kazuya's dimension - apparently his powers were directly linked to Hell, and being so far away from that dimension was what was messing up his digestion process. Or, that's the explanation him and Atsuro came up with for now]

But yeah, unless we figure out a way top stop what's messing up my powers, I can't take you home. Sorry.
