Summary: 1/16-1/22. Days of non-stop shooting and Persona battles! Players decide when the fight takes place.

Grand Prix Frenzy had overtaken the city by this point.

We're sorry, you weren't technically part of the main show. However, perhaps, should this go well, they might be able to get you into the giant tournament itself next year!What can they say, the show must go on. And the ratings must be high.

The entire place was filled with cheering spectators and for those who missed out, the usual channels were going to post the entire thing live. Pay-per-view had extra shows and cameras. Or you could go to your local pub. Now that the main show was put on hold, they had all come to see one thing: and it was to see how these newcomers from otherworlds fared in their favorite sport. In a way it was showing the natural pride to them, and watching how they did at it.

Gambling wasn't allowed publicly. So naturally it flourished underground. Odds today were 1:1 for nearly everyone, those looking to make a lot of money were simply out of luck. Today was a day for watching.

From the side ring "Jay Queen" and "Bob Sternhammer", the two ringside announcer, excitedly begin the pre-game talk.

"What a crowd today Jay! You can feel and hear the energy coming right off of 'em!"

"A stadium of Ten Thousand filled to the brim! At the tenth anniversary, this promises to be a Grand Prix unlike any other!"

"Can't blame 'em. Hell, if I wasn't announcing this, I'd be ringside looking at the newcomers. For those watching at home, we're gonna remind you of the few ground rules."

"Tonight's matches are part of the main tournament, Outerworlders division. No returning champions, in fact, if you look to the left there, you'll see Flamin' HellDragon waving next to Seaside Dragoon. Last year's reigning champ, and the sexy female newcomer? Oh I can just smell the steaming flames of passion raising!"

"Haha and a kiss in public! Can you hear the crowd echoing their approval! At this stage they might take away from the real event!"

"Names are drawn based on known skill. Randomization is under the supervision of the Hinoto-Ri Lotto Society."

"Contestants pick their own Evoker ten minutes before the duel, and are asked to fire a blank shot in the air to insure security before it is scanned. Contestants then are brought into their isolation zones and are kept there until they are ready to be brought up to the ring. Since this is a double dual championship, contestants are brought together a full two hours before the tournament begins, and then will get to meet their opponents behind a locked bar twenty minutes before the show begins."

"Turns are taken, each allowed only one command from their Personas."

"As usual, Instant Death Spells are forbidden of usage. You may not kill your opponent. If your opponent is knocked unconscious, they have five seconds to get up. You are only allowed to attack your opponents Persona, even with your weapons and skills."

"Oh! Looks like the national anthem's gonna start."

There was some singing, as everyone stood up. After, the shouts became louder and louder, as a single man dressed in a tuxedo walked in, grabbing a futuristic microphone and speaking in it.

"LADIES AND GENTLEMEN! THE GRAND PRIX TOURNAMENT IS PROUD TO PRESENT THE OTHERWORLDER'S DIVISION! A SERIES OF BATTLES WITH STRICT SET OF RULES TO SHOWCASE THE NATRUAL ABILITY OF HINOTO-RI'S HEROES!" Dramatically, he leaned in closer, raising his hand as the crowd's enthusiasm broke into an even louder frenzy.

"LeeeeeET'S GET IT oooooooooON!"

The crowed cheered, as a series of fireworks and music tore off into the sky.

"This is Bob and Jay live from the Outerworld Demo Tournament! !"

[A tight space - okay, fine. He's dealt with this before. Link puts a hand on his sword for courage before the countdown starts.]

[He can do this. He knows he can. He lifts the Evoker to his head, and summons Epona.]

Hyaa!

[The horse charges towards the Hitoshura, stopping and slamming her hooves against the ground, sending rocks flying towards her.]

[Following his partner's lead, Mordred simply lifted his Evoker throughout his head.

Come, let us raze these peasants...

Her voice echoed once more within his mind as his Soul Persona reminded him of his past. But fortunately it didn't affect his mind too much as he pulled the trigger and ignored the voice as a mechanic beeping resounded within his soul.]

Come to my aid, Gespenst!

[And with that, a giant blue robot appeared behind him, before charge straight at Masamune, fist upraised for what seems to be a pretty hard punch!]

"GAH!!!" Shura is knocked off her ass by Link's attack, tumbling backward but somehow landing on her feet, a little shaken. Oh, this will NOT end like that. Ignoring the pain, she lefts her Evoker to her head.

"COME! MATADOR!"

The stylish Fiend appears and waves its capote at Link, as if taunting him. But it's Shura that's affected by the spell. Her agility has been multiplied by 4. Weakness or no weakness, she should now be tremendous difficult to hit.

Luckily Masamune did see the punch coming with the rush, but it still wasn't enough to actually stop it, just stave off at least some of the damage. Though as he straightens from getting the wind knocked out of him, he's grinning, eye practically glowing as he raises the Evoker.

"LET'S GET THIS PARTY STARTED! SENRIMA!"

A flash of lightning, and the oddly-dressed horse appeared, letting out a loud neigh as it reared back and charged forward, literally aiming to headbutt Mordred in the face.

Link stared at Matador for a moment, wondering what was going on, but his attention was caught by the really weird horse that Masamune summoned. He recognized the attack and grinned.

"Epona!" He shot again, summoning her once more, watching her race forward and rear up to try to bash Masamune with the same attack.

That was a strange steed, but nevertheless, keeping his wits to himself, Mordred decided to charge forward, stepping to the side in order to actually graze the attack, as he prepared for yet another shot.

These insignificant insects are nothing against my prowess... Come, Mordred... Together we shall prevail...

"Persona!"

Trying his best to ignore his Persona's whispers, Mordred called for Gespenst yet again as Link might find that his strength's increased by quite a bit!

It also makes you less likely to miss.

Shura pulls the trigger hard, making her head bounce with the shot as a Magarula engulfs her adversaries.

After the ensuing attack, Masamune was shaking stars out of his eye, grimacing. "Shit." Things were blurry, but he was still able to raise the Evoker and fire off another shot, Senrima rearing back before lightning arced toward Mordred.

((And my D&D dice bag has come in incredibly handy.))

"Guh!"

The force of the wind blew him back as Matador's spell rang true. And this being a cage match; it was fortunate that the cage stopped him before he flew a farther distance away.

Though, premature stops like these tend to hurt pretty badly for anyone involved, but Mordred's never one to give up.

Therefore, he slowly got up, readied his chainsword as it whirred to life, and charged right at Matador without even bothering to summon his Persona, intending to use his speed as a leverage to at least disable the strange woman for all but a second-

That was before the lightning struck, though, causing him to be knocked down to the ground, and considering Gespenst's weakness, the extra damage was enough to render him stunned for a few seconds.

Guh. Link shook off the spell as much as he could, and stood strong. It was time to change tactics. He pulled out his Fairy Bow, taking aim directly at Senrima and letting an arrow trailing light fly at the horse.
