Summary: After being violently removed from the Tower of Animus, everyone is returned 'home'.

There was a tight clench behind your navel, the sensation of something dragging you through the fabric of time and space itself... it was an unpleasant sensation, almost sickening. Those of Hinoto-Ri had vanished from the tower completely when the clock struck midnight from what had just happened, removed from that reality. It had happened with such abruptness that it was downright disorienting to observe. There was no chance for a hurried goodbye, no chance of even letting out a surprised scream...

Those of Hinoto-Ri were dragged back to their own world with very little grace, and for a dizzying and wild thirty seconds, they suffered from the sensation of thick tentacles grasping and yanking their bodies this way and that through a swirling blur of matter. Where were they going? What had caused this?

After those sickening moments that seemed to last far longer, they were unceremoniously shoved out of the Shining Trapezohedron in a stream of bright lights, and into what looked like a giant room filled with computer screens. At least it didn't appear to be the Mictlan, like when the other group had returned.

Pray that you weren't on the bottom of the pile...

Now there was a quiet hum, as an alarm went off. Lights shone brightly upon you as scientists outside were running scans to determine you weren't harmful from your trip. That left you time to think.

You had finally met him...

Nyarlathotep, the Crawling Chaos. He'd taunted some of you, shown you another world you had been sent to save...but in the end, nothing much had changed. Perhaps there was small solace that it was still standing and not completely obliterated as had been his plan. The questioned remained, however...

Where was He now? ...you could figure that out later. There were reunions to be had first.

[Naminé crawls over, lightly touching her knee.]

The hug catches Link by surprise. He's not quick to respond, and when he does, his hug is cautious, questioning.

"...what's wrong? What happened?"

[Before she got the message, Miyako already knew Yamato returned. His return coincided with the sudden feeling of her brother's presence feeling more...fuller than before. Where else it was faint throughout the past few weeks.

She followed where the feeling lead her to, glancing at the provided map until Miyako arrived at the lab. Once she's there, she uttered one word.]

Yamato.

[There's a girl who greatly resembles Yamato. The only difference between them would be her winter sports clothes and her low pitched but feminine voice.]

After the network post went up, it wasn't even five minutes before a tall young man entered the labs, appearing as if he were looking for a specific person.

He also looked pretty angry, but that seemed to be the default emotional setting for him.

"I... I failed... I..."

He's shaking, clearly not in the best state for coherence at the moment. He presses his face into the other's shirt, tears starting to fall.

[That was not pleasant, to say the least. He had been running through the tower, looking for Gilbert, when he had been abruptly punted out. He fell right on his face when he landed, too. He hadn't fully changed mindsets yet, so when he pulled himself up...]

Gilbert?! Are you there?!

[Blink blink. Headshake. What?]

...We're not "there" anymore, are we...

He just doesn't know what to say. He doesn't know why Link is feeling this way or what he's talking about, but he knows that asking won't get him any answers. So he stands there and holds Link tightly, letting him cry as much as he needs to.

Minato is a little shell-shocked (interdimensional travel is not fun and he has a lot to think about), and when he manages to sit up, he just... stares at nothing in particular for a few moments before the chatter gets to him, and he pulls himself together enough to properly look about. This isn't the room they left from, or if it is, man has it been remodeled. The bright lights make him squint, and he sighs to himself, as he slowly stumbles to his feet, tired and ... not really sure what to do now. Are they home? What about everyone in the tower?

He looks around, scanning for familiar faces and looking to see if anyone with a collar is mixed up with them. There isn't, and he's not sure how worried or not that should make him. He doesn't know what to think, really, after those broadcasts and -- everything.

So in the end, he just... lingers. Waiting until they're let out of this room and he can go somewhere to rest (and maybe to eat something that's not filled with conversation hearts; he doesn't think he'll be able to eat one of those again without wanting to throw up, and besides, it's easier to think about food right now than ... everything else) and to think. And maybe maybe talk it over with Shinjiro and Pharos and Miki, since they were there too. Maybe a few others whose judgement he trusts...

[Hey, not!daughters... Someone has noticed you and it isn't senpai she is joining you both. Not even going to ask if you're okay because that kind of sucked in more ways than one.]

After a little bit, he seems to calm down a bit, pulling back and wiping his face on his sleeve. "I... we found him... the one we were looking for. He... he said that in one timeline I... I didn't defeat Ganondorf... that I died..."

He takes a deep breath, trying to steady himself. "I... I know he was probably just trying to get us angry, but... but I'm not sure if what he said wasn't true..."

[Kairi is surrounded by floppy-hatted boys, it seems. A white one drifts to the floor in front of her; it is quickly snatched up with the fervor of a man who knows that his hat-hair is hideous on the best of days.

Atsuro offers a small, exhausted smile.]

...Hey.

It was a little hectic back there, huh? We didn't really get a chance to have a... normal introduction.

Sssshh, it's alright.

[She carefully rubs her hand up and down Link's back soothingly, trying her best to help him even if the tears wouldn't stop running down her own face.]

We can't be sure that his words were true, but in the end you're only human. You did your best, Link... don't let him ever make you think otherwise.

[He isn't the only one disgusted, but for now... she simply looks up at him. There's no smile, no shared look of disgust. Only a practiced blank face of someone who has seen some serious shit and isn't about to burden the others with it just yet. in other words, concerned mom mode]

...Garviel. [It's okay, man... They'll have another chance at cutting him down to size.]

Link's first instinct is to find whoever told Link that and punch in the face.

But hypothetical violence isn't going to help the other Link right now, so he pushes that thought away.

"What...happened? I...I don't understand. Who are you talking about? Where did you go?"

[Kairi lifts her head to look at them both, and it doesn't take long before her expression begins to crack. She covers her face with her hands as the tears begin to fall, body shaking.]

Nano...!

[He manages to extract himself from the pile with some difficulty - had he lost a shoe no wait there it was - and hobbles over to the girl with a smile.]

Hey! ...Long time no see.

Hey.

[Kairi does her best to smile back, but it's more sorrowful than anything. Despite all the strength they had found together... it was still an incredibly taxing experience. And don't even get her started on the people they left behind in that torture Tower...]

You're right. Would you like to sit with me?

[He can't even muster the usual response of 'but I'm a Hylian'. She's right. ... And there's the other thing, too.]

I'm only ten, too...

[It hurts. Kairi's pain is like a scream over their bond, and it hurts so much to see her like this. Naminé wraps her arms around Kairi's shoulders, bringing her close and stroking over her hair with trembling fingers.]

I've got you. I'm here. I've got you.

As soon as the message appears on her COMP, Minako is out the door. That wasn't in question. But it takes some time to make her way via the transit network to the blinking dot on her map, and during the trip she has time to make some calls. One is, of course, to Minato. It's text only because she's not the only one she's trying to talk with.

Open the blinking message on your COMP with its predictable contents, big brother.

There's a small bit of relief that people have returned. Hopefully that includes everyone who disappeared. She doesn't know everyone who disappeared, but there's a few faces she's hopeful to see again, especially considering that this disappearance was for a lot longer than the one that involved those in-charge people.

Labrys couldn't keep herself from the commotion. All of the people who had mysteriously disappeared had all of a sudden ended up back home in a massive group. She wanted to make sure everyone had safely returned, especially her friends on the Investigation Team and in SEES.

Flying in the air, she scans the crowd, and discovers Minato among the masses. She then slowly lowers herself towards the crowd and lands in front of him.
