Summary: After being violently removed from the Tower of Animus, everyone is returned 'home'.

There was a tight clench behind your navel, the sensation of something dragging you through the fabric of time and space itself... it was an unpleasant sensation, almost sickening. Those of Hinoto-Ri had vanished from the tower completely when the clock struck midnight from what had just happened, removed from that reality. It had happened with such abruptness that it was downright disorienting to observe. There was no chance for a hurried goodbye, no chance of even letting out a surprised scream...

Those of Hinoto-Ri were dragged back to their own world with very little grace, and for a dizzying and wild thirty seconds, they suffered from the sensation of thick tentacles grasping and yanking their bodies this way and that through a swirling blur of matter. Where were they going? What had caused this?

After those sickening moments that seemed to last far longer, they were unceremoniously shoved out of the Shining Trapezohedron in a stream of bright lights, and into what looked like a giant room filled with computer screens. At least it didn't appear to be the Mictlan, like when the other group had returned.

Pray that you weren't on the bottom of the pile...

Now there was a quiet hum, as an alarm went off. Lights shone brightly upon you as scientists outside were running scans to determine you weren't harmful from your trip. That left you time to think.

You had finally met him...

Nyarlathotep, the Crawling Chaos. He'd taunted some of you, shown you another world you had been sent to save...but in the end, nothing much had changed. Perhaps there was small solace that it was still standing and not completely obliterated as had been his plan. The questioned remained, however...

Where was He now? ...you could figure that out later. There were reunions to be had first.

[Quickly rolling out of the way once she lands out of the Trapezohedron, Kairi comes to a halt a foot or so away from the massive Visitor pile.

...She's gonna just kind of sit and curl her legs up while she thinks, thanks.]

[Link rolls as well, before just... flopping onto the floor. His everything hurts, especially his heart. He wants to cry but he can't even find the tears, so he looks around, trying to find someone familiar, and crawls over to Kairi, flopping down next to her.]

[His hat drapes comically over his face, but he doesn't seem to notice.]

[Maybe she would've laughed at the sight if the situation were any different. Instead she scoots a little closer to him, placing a comforting hand on his shoulder and remaining otherwise quiet.

...It was really hard holding back the tears.]

[He shifts, pressing his shoulder into her hand. His eyes are wet, as if he's desperately holding back tears.]

He... I couldn't have failed in a timeline... r... right?

[With the affirmation that he wasn't opposed to physical contact, she scoops Link up into a gentle hug. To be quite honest, it was just as much for her as it was for him; that was probably one of the most taxing trips she's had to date.]

His words were meant to hurt... you can't believe everything he says.

[Even though everything he had said about her was for the most part true.]

[Thankfully the red hair makes her easy to spot by people looking for her]

Kairi!

[Everything makes Xion uneasy - the expression, the posture. Something happened. Something bad. She hurries over, tumbling to her knees next to the other girl.]

Wh-what happened? Are you okay?

X-Xion...

[She tries to smile up at the girl, but it only looks forced and pained. Seeing the girl only reminded her of her promise towards the other Xion, a promise that she would take her and the others away from life at the Tower...]

It's...

[Her instinct was to assure her, tell her everything was okay, but she couldn't possibly bring herself to lie to the girl.]

A lot. I don't think I have it in me to explain it right now.

[Unfortunately, that just makes Xion worry more, because what could be so bad that you wouldn't want to talk about it at all?

She bites her lip, but doesn't push though.]

Okay. D-do you need anything? I can go get something...

No thank you, I... just have to think about some things. I promise I'll tell you everything later.

[Naminé crawls over, lightly touching her knee.]

Kairi?

...Kairi. ...Naminé.

[Hey, not!daughters... Someone has noticed you and it isn't senpai she is joining you both. Not even going to ask if you're okay because that kind of sucked in more ways than one.]

[Kairi lifts her head to look at them both, and it doesn't take long before her expression begins to crack. She covers her face with her hands as the tears begin to fall, body shaking.]

[It hurts. Kairi's pain is like a scream over their bond, and it hurts so much to see her like this. Naminé wraps her arms around Kairi's shoulders, bringing her close and stroking over her hair with trembling fingers.]

I've got you. I'm here. I've got you.

[Kairi is surrounded by floppy-hatted boys, it seems. A white one drifts to the floor in front of her; it is quickly snatched up with the fervor of a man who knows that his hat-hair is hideous on the best of days.

Atsuro offers a small, exhausted smile.]

...Hey.

It was a little hectic back there, huh? We didn't really get a chance to have a... normal introduction.

Hey.

[Kairi does her best to smile back, but it's more sorrowful than anything. Despite all the strength they had found together... it was still an incredibly taxing experience. And don't even get her started on the people they left behind in that torture Tower...]

You're right. Would you like to sit with me?

[He would. Nyarly was gone, they were home, they were safe... Even still, his muscles still refused to loosen up. Even standing upright was a strain. Atsuro will slowly lower himself to the floor and try not to wince as his joints creak.]

[She nods a little as he says her name.]

I'm from... uhm. That's still a kind of difficult question I need to think about.

I've seen Tokyo before, specifically Shibuya. It's a very beautiful place.

[She had become a blimp on his radar. Too bad for her. But...coming out of the tower, some things hit him. He should probably apologize about the madness, right? Who knows what she even thought of him.

As he walked up to her, he scratched the back of his neck.] Hey... Sheesh, that was crazy... [Dragons, freaky little girls, shadow imitations... Nyarlathotep. Things to check out later: seeing if the bookstores here carried anything more than that Junes Invasion book] ...Actually, speaking of crazy, I can't even remember a lot of it. I mean, up until we met that guy, it was all a blur...

[She does her best to smile up at him, but it seems a little bit on the forced side. Despite all their bravado and strong words back there, it looked like the whole thing had taken a rather large toll on her, probably more so than the other two heroes.]

Hey, there. Good to see that you're feeling better.

[Aww, how cute, she thinks Adachi is okay.]

Ah, well... [He gives a shrug.] I've got the worst headache...but, enough about me. [how do you talk to anyone female without a tv nearby] You don't look so good...

Mm, I've definitely been better... I'm just a little stressed out and tired after everything that happened. No big deal, I'll be fine after a long nap in my own bed.

[She shrugs a little, trying to downplay it for the most part. She hardly liked to even burden her friends with her problems, after all; bottling things up was a bad Facility habit she was still trying to break.]

Would you like to sit with me until everything calms down? I can try healing you, maybe it'll help with your headache.

[ Kairi will not be able to think for very long, especially when Yukko lands on her...

Well she doesn't land on Kairi per se. She just hits the top of the visitor pile, rolls down it like a log and stops right next to Kairi. Her head genrly bumps the edge of Kairi's shoe.

Yukko has a blank look on her face as she looks up. It does not suit her at all. ]

Oh. Hi.

[She curls her arms around her legs a little tighter, trying to offer the girl a smile.]

Are you alright? Do you need any healing?

[ Yukko gives an even blanker look than before, as if she doesn't understand the question. ]

Nah. At least, I don't think so. I'm pretty sure I landed on someone soft.

[ This is an actual attempt at a joke but Yukko doesn't smile. She lifts off of the floor, looking all around. ]

Wait, do you know where the heck we are? Did we get pulled somewhere else or...?

[ Huff. She hated getting world-thrown the first time. ]

Well, that's good at least.

[She tries her best to muster up a smile, but it's very half-hearted.]

I think we're back in Hinoto-Ri, but I'm not entirely sure.
