Summary: After being violently removed from the Tower of Animus, everyone is returned 'home'.

There was a tight clench behind your navel, the sensation of something dragging you through the fabric of time and space itself... it was an unpleasant sensation, almost sickening. Those of Hinoto-Ri had vanished from the tower completely when the clock struck midnight from what had just happened, removed from that reality. It had happened with such abruptness that it was downright disorienting to observe. There was no chance for a hurried goodbye, no chance of even letting out a surprised scream...

Those of Hinoto-Ri were dragged back to their own world with very little grace, and for a dizzying and wild thirty seconds, they suffered from the sensation of thick tentacles grasping and yanking their bodies this way and that through a swirling blur of matter. Where were they going? What had caused this?

After those sickening moments that seemed to last far longer, they were unceremoniously shoved out of the Shining Trapezohedron in a stream of bright lights, and into what looked like a giant room filled with computer screens. At least it didn't appear to be the Mictlan, like when the other group had returned.

Pray that you weren't on the bottom of the pile...

Now there was a quiet hum, as an alarm went off. Lights shone brightly upon you as scientists outside were running scans to determine you weren't harmful from your trip. That left you time to think.

You had finally met him...

Nyarlathotep, the Crawling Chaos. He'd taunted some of you, shown you another world you had been sent to save...but in the end, nothing much had changed. Perhaps there was small solace that it was still standing and not completely obliterated as had been his plan. The questioned remained, however...

Where was He now? ...you could figure that out later. There were reunions to be had first.

DOGPILE ON THE GIANT ROBOT

This time? This time, Brainstorm wasn't the last one out. He was thankful for this, as he saw the empty floor before him.

Unfortunately, that thankfulness was short-lived as he felt more and more weight land on his body. Given the focuses of this weight, it meant that he was his normal size again. This was good.

Unfortunately, it meant a large number of the other Visitors were landing on him. While not damaging, it was still terribly annoying.

"...of all the things to end that horrible trip on--EVERYONE OFF! NOW!"

[Quickly rolling out of the way once she lands out of the Trapezohedron, Kairi comes to a halt a foot or so away from the massive Visitor pile.

...She's gonna just kind of sit and curl her legs up while she thinks, thanks.]

[Link rolls as well, before just... flopping onto the floor. His everything hurts, especially his heart. He wants to cry but he can't even find the tears, so he looks around, trying to find someone familiar, and crawls over to Kairi, flopping down next to her.]

[His hat drapes comically over his face, but he doesn't seem to notice.]

[Maybe she would've laughed at the sight if the situation were any different. Instead she scoots a little closer to him, placing a comforting hand on his shoulder and remaining otherwise quiet.

...It was really hard holding back the tears.]

[Nano wastes no time whatsoever in rushing straight to the location specified by her COMP when the notice comes in that the missing visitors have returned. The poor thing worried herself sick for the month they were gone - or she would have, if robots could get sick. But semantics aside, she rushes into the room in a state of near panic as quickly as he legs can carry her, calling out for her friends.]

Yukko-san! Atsuro-san! Rise-san! Nikolai-san! Everyone!

[After all, it would take her a while to call for everyone she knows, but she's certainly relieved to see anyone and everyone she recognizes from the returning group.]

*Nano's not the only one to come in after the word gets out, although he's trying his best to not look too rushed about it. He's already had one panic attack over this whole situation, thanks. Further panic attacks are dependent upon the status of certain folks.*

Shura? You there? You okay?

[He shifts, pressing his shoulder into her hand. His eyes are wet, as if he's desperately holding back tears.]

He... I couldn't have failed in a timeline... r... right?

Pit had closed the shop as soon as he could after the notice had appeared on the network. To say he'd been worried sick about those he knew who'd went missing... Well, it's not the bright eyed and bushy tailed Pit who walks into the MAGI headquarters. He looks frazzled, stressed out, and worried. Happens when you run a business by yourself for a month without knowing where your friends are.

Hi reality warping. Hi stomach sickness. Hi suddenly feeling nauseous - oh, she landed on a...robot. Welp.

Haseo complies, rolling off of the robot and then tottering over to a corner in order to try not to be sick.

[With the affirmation that he wasn't opposed to physical contact, she scoops Link up into a gentle hug. To be quite honest, it was just as much for her as it was for him; that was probably one of the most taxing trips she's had to date.]

His words were meant to hurt... you can't believe everything he says.

[Even though everything he had said about her was for the most part true.]

[Kais drags himself to his feet, looks over at Nano....

....and immediately pulls off his helmet and pukes on the ground.

Hope that doesn't splatter.]

"Link? Princess Zelda?"

He barges in without stopping to take a look around him. Perhaps if he did, he wouldn't look so excited.

"Are you guys here?"

[He presses his face into her shoulder, hugging her back. He knows she's probably right... but there's something nagging at him, something that can't believe he was totally wrong. And even if someone would eventually rise to defeat evil, the world would be under its control for a long time...]

I... I know...

[But he squeezes a little tighter, even so.]

[Xion is still up when the message pops up on the network. She immediately abandons what she was doing - reading a book and trying to get herself sleepy enough to doze off before the 13th hour - and gets up. She even riffles through her things to grab her Organization Coat.

She lets Sora know and lets him follow if Rox wants, then double-checks the map and makes a corridor to the furthest place along it that she recognizes and runs the rest of the way

As soon as she can get in to see everyone, she's there, looking around, face worried at all their expressions. But more than anything, she's looking for familiar faces, ones she needs to see. Needs to make sure they're okay.]

Link is curled up against a wall, trying to gather his thoughts again. He doesn't feel well, and it's not just due to the inter-dimensional joyride.

He lifts his head slightly at the other's voice, but doesn't otherwise respond.

[Thankfully the red hair makes her easy to spot by people looking for her]

[Everything makes Xion uneasy - the expression, the posture. Something happened. Something bad. She hurries over, tumbling to her knees next to the other girl.]

Wh-what happened? Are you okay?

[Aqua had been lucky to end up on the edge of the pile after that disorienting trip through space and time, inwardly cringing at how her legs had been caught for a brief moment and the opportunity to say one final thing to those she had met back in that world--even one small word of power and light-- before finding herself back in the world they had come from.

Yet there were no words said as the scans are performed, only thoughts back on the time spent there... what was learned... who was met...

She had hated yellow eyes before, but that--

Her hand closes around her wayfinder before she goes to find her friends that had gone with them still there in the pile. That was more important than any harsh word or half-truth that had been shared. She wasn't going to share her pain, but focus on others.

They need it more than she does; that listening ear.]

With the crowd, it's hard to spot someone sitting on the floor. But he does find him in due time.

"...Link?"

[She squeezes back, pressing her forehead against the top of his head as she desperately attempts to hold back the tears. Not only was the talk with Nyarlathotep taxing as hell... she'd promised her friends from the Tower she would find a way to take them back with her, that she'd protect them, that Hinoto-Ri could be their safe haven like it was hers from Facility...

Obviously, that hadn't even come close to happening.

Kairi can't help it any longer as the tears force their way forward, causing little dots of wetness to drop against Link's hat. Hope you don't mind, bro.]

I-It'll be okay.

[ Should Xion recognize Ferrus at all, he's here - his hood and robe is disheveled, and he's unsteady on his feet. Having people land on you was disorienting as fuck.

But he's here.

Greet acquaintance? Yes/No ]

[ Loken strides out of the center of the pile, looking down at Aqua. He is clearly disgusted, not with her, but with his failure to slay the Daemon. For that is what Nyarlathotep was to him. ]

[Naminé rolls over onto her side once she's back on Hinoto-Ri ground, suppressing a small noise of discomfort when someone accidentally jostles her from behind.

They're back...but it hardly seems like a triumph.

She gets up as carefully as she can with all the struggling people around her and starts walking away from the masses. Like her sister, she needs to go find somewhere to think, but she doesn't want it to be anywhere near this crowd.]

[It's okay, he's starting to cry too. Sorry about your shirt.]

B... but... I... I couldn't...

[His voice is hoarse as he speaks again.]

I... I never asked... to... but I was the only one who could... and... and I'm still... I'm y... younger than I look and... o... of course I would have failed somewhere but... but it hurts...

That's about all the greeting the older Link gets before the younger one attempts to tackle him into a hug, clinging tightly.

[She tries to smile up at the girl, but it only looks forced and pained. Seeing the girl only reminded her of her promise towards the other Xion, a promise that she would take her and the others away from life at the Tower...]

It's...

[Her instinct was to assure her, tell her everything was okay, but she couldn't possibly bring herself to lie to the girl.]

A lot. I don't think I have it in me to explain it right now.
