Redi Domum
Who: The missing visitors and you. Open to everyone.
Where: MAGI Labs
Summary: After being violently removed from the Tower of Animus, everyone is returned 'home'.
Warnings: None
There was a tight clench behind your navel, the sensation of something dragging you through the fabric of time and space itself... it was an unpleasant sensation, almost sickening. Those of Hinoto-Ri had vanished from the tower completely when the clock struck midnight from what had just happened, removed from that reality. It had happened with such abruptness that it was downright disorienting to observe. There was no chance for a hurried goodbye, no chance of even letting out a surprised scream...
Those of Hinoto-Ri were dragged back to their own world with very little grace, and for a dizzying and wild thirty seconds, they suffered from the sensation of thick tentacles grasping and yanking their bodies this way and that through a swirling blur of matter. Where were they going? What had caused this?
After those sickening moments that seemed to last far longer, they were unceremoniously shoved out of the Shining Trapezohedron in a stream of bright lights, and into what looked like a giant room filled with computer screens. At least it didn't appear to be the Mictlan, like when the other group had returned.
Pray that you weren't on the bottom of the pile...
Now there was a quiet hum, as an alarm went off. Lights shone brightly upon you as scientists outside were running scans to determine you weren't harmful from your trip. That left you time to think.
You had finally met him...
Nyarlathotep, the Crawling Chaos. He'd taunted some of you, shown you another world you had been sent to save...but in the end, nothing much had changed. Perhaps there was small solace that it was still standing and not completely obliterated as had been his plan. The questioned remained, however...
Where was He now? ...you could figure that out later. There were reunions to be had first.

Oh look, it's your mirror image, Pit, looking just as frazzled and stressed out as you are, with an added dose of exhausted on top of it. Dark Pit was really looking forward to the chance to get the hell out of this lab -- he'd had enough of those, thank you very much -- and collapse face first into his bed. But... well, there was Pit, and after seeing his double and all the rest of Hell Tower, he was happy to see the idiot.
no subject
The time he takes to correct himself is the time it takes for him to realize he can't run up and hug Dark Pit within an inch of his life. Well, he could, but Dark Pit wouldn't be happy about it. So he breathes out a sigh of relief and walks a bit closer.
"I'm glad you're okay!" Pause. "...you're okay, right?"
no subject
Because he'd be lying if he said he was fine. Some of the things he saw in that Tower... His wings ruffled, a few black feathers flying off from the stress.
"I'm in one piece and I didn't die. That's about it."
no subject
He was hoping Dark Pit had been sent someplace nice. That's what he would do, if he were a god with the power to rip people out from different worlds; after all, it was bad enough they were all here, away from home. And maybe that was just an elaborate way of saying Pit was just biased, concerned about Dark Pit, and didn't like the idea of him being sent to someplace bad for a month.
Pit's own wings ruffle a little as he contemplates what to say. Were it anyone else, he likely would have said the first thing that popped into his head without thinking about how sensitive it was. But he knew Dark Pit had a short fuse, and he didn't want to be pushed away when it seemed like he had just gone through something bad...
"Um...do you have to stay here?"
no subject
"...I think they're making us stay here until they're sure we're all right," he explained, before making a face. "Or make sure we didn't bring anything with us."
Because... bringing something from that place over with them? Would have sucked, big time. He had no idea what happened that they were suddenly punted back to Hinoto-Ri, and something told him it was beyond even gods and goddesses.

"...it made the inside of Hades look like a vacation home."

He was glad to be back too; if he ever ended up in a place like that again... No. Nope. He wasn't thinking about it.
no subject
But even then, since when did they become the savoir of every world ever? Not that he'd object, he'd just like some forewarning.
no subject
"Nothing there made any sense, though. It was like Pandora's Labyrinth in terms of weird."

He jogs her way, not looking as excited as he normally would, but still very much happy to see her.
"Are you okay?"
no subject
"Are we really back in Hinoto-Ri? Or is this another one of that guy's illusions?"
no subject
He reaches out to touch her shoulder--gently, as she seems to be a bit in pain.
no subject
"Nyarlathotep. He was.... he was in that Tower and we had to fight," she says this slowly, trying to make sense of it all herself, "But.... but we didn't defeat him. Something happened and now we're.... we're back here."
no subject
no subject
"Yes. They.... they didn't know he was there. And it was some kind of refugee camp? There's something out there destroying whole universes and it was meant to be a safe haven of some kind. Possibly. No one brought there was entirely sure about it."
She takes a deep breath, slowly but surely regaining her composure:
"And Nyarlathotep was brought there somehow: possibly as part of how they drew in refugees. I can't be entirely sure. He meant to destroy the place and we tried to stop him, but...."
She looks at Pit with uncertain eyes.
"He was too strong. If we weren't expelled when we were, I think he might have succeeded in his goal."
no subject
Because Pit would like to give him a piece of his mind, or his fists, or his claws...
no subject
She runs a hand through her hair, trying to make sense of it all.
"What happened while we were gone?"
no subject
no subject
"I missed you, too, Pit."
no subject
"Well, now you're back. Hopefully you won't be ripped out anywhere else soon!"
