Kotoha's pretty well settled in by now, so it's time to go shopping! She's wandering around the shops of Virgo Ward, Arthur in tow to act as a pack mule. In Kotoha's token nod to staying low-profile, the jackal-like Pokemon is wearing a pair of black sunglasses.

Currently, she's in Junes, leafing through a copy of the first Junes Invasion book and giggling.

[Cancer Ward] OPEN
A remnant of Atomic Robo's memories has stuck with Kotoha, and she's interested in exploring the possibilities - which is why she came to Cancer Ward. Currently, she's in a small hobby shop, looking over a selection of airsoft guns while Arthur waits outside, still wearing his sunglasses and loaded down with bags. The Lucario has his arms crossed underneath his chest spike and is leaning against the outside wall of the shop, visibly bored with the entire process of waiting.

[Capricorn Ward] OPEN
Lunchtime sees Kotoha in the Capricorn Plains, enjoying a pre-packaged sandwich and bottle of iced tea she picked up while Solar Logos and Tesla fly overhead in a mock dogfight, creating a brilliant light show - the Volcarona releasing torrents of flame which the Magnezone deflects with shining lasers and jolts of electricity.

It's a few minutes before the 13th Hour, and Kotoha is waiting in front of the JP's Headquarters with what appears to be a sea lion of some kind, one hand resting on the creature's shoulders.

Kotoha spent quite a while picking out the perfect outfit for her date - not as casual as her normal combination of culottes and black stockings, but not super formal either. She's currently smoothing out the plaid skirt and fussing with the hair ribbons while waiting for Ruri to show up at the small park they agreed to meet in.

Kotoha nods a little as she follows along.

"I showed up during the 13th Hour on...the eleventh, I think? I lost track of time; it was kind of a busy night."

"I can imagine. I don't really like going out on the 13th hour even with Omoikane and the Nadesico supporting me."

Kotoha makes a little noise of understanding and clasps her hands behind her back.

"If I didn't have my team with me, I'd probably stay inside too."

"Team? I don't have my crew... I kind of miss them."

Whoops, it seems she stepped on a landmine. For now, Kotoha will just pat Ruri on the shoulder.

"It must be tough, huh?"

She nods a little.

"At least Omoikane is here. Still this isn't really that bad of a place, though I'm not sure if your observation about supermodels is normal."

Kotoha smiles brightly at that.

"Why settle for normal when you can aim for extraordinary? And I got to meet so many new people because of it!"

She glances over at Ruri with a wry smirk.

"And all it cost me was a little bit of dignity."

"Dignity is almost worthless in my experience as well."

She nods a bit.

Kotoha chuckles a bit.

"Good to know we're in agreement!"

Now, as she's mostly been paying attention to Ruri during the walk, she pauses for a brief moment to take stock of their surroundings.

"Say, how much further will it be?"

"About half a block. Its right over there."

She points.

Kotoha follows Ruri's finger, holding a hand over her eyes in approximation of her usual visor.

"Oh! Yeah, there it is!"

Oh boy this is gonna be fun!

"I've never seen it that backed, but I like the tea they make there."

She shrugs a bit and continues.

Kotoha follows along. Since the shop is such a short distance away, she's content to pass the remainder of the walk in an easy silence, taking advantage of the natural lull in the conversation to take in her surroundings. While she admires the architecture, there are several admiring glances thrown at her companion, as well.

Ruri is confused by the glances as she does notice, but more in the slightly self conscious way wondering if something is wrong with her last outfit.

"So... This is the place. They make good tea but I don't know much about the coffee."

"Tea's fine with me!"

With a grin, Kotoha sketches a short curtsey, gesturing to the shop as she does so.

"Shall we enter, milady?"

"Certainly."

Ruri nods and heads towards a table in the back looking confused.

Kotoha catches the expression on Ruri's face as she heads to the table. As she sits down, she asks a question.

"Is something wrong?"

[electricyousei]

"No. I'm just not used to getting that sort of treatment outside of Peaceland. I was curious if anyone had mentioned that."

She sits down and shrugs a little.

Kotoha pauses for a moment before replying.

"I was actually just being silly - I just wanted to make you laugh."

Awkward shrug.

"I don't know what Peaceland is, I'm afraid."

"Oh. Peaceland is a small country in Europe on my world. My biological parents come from there so visits are always kind of odd."

She actually smiles slightly at the laugh comment though.

She smiled! Kotoha will just count that as a victory.

"Huh, that's neat. What's Peaceland like?"

[electricyousei]

"I've only been there a few times. It was originally an amusement park, which turned into a bank and later purchased a large amount of the country it was in. Now its an independent nation, that relies heavily on banking, gambling and its amusement park status for its economy."

"...sounds like an interesting place to visit."

A pause.

"I'm from western Unova - Aspertia City."

[electricyousei]

"Just so long as you avoid the palace. Its a little stuffy there. What is Unova like?"

[unbroken_chain]

"Oh, it's a great place! The weather's always nice, there are forests all over, and there's all sorts of interesting people!"

Kotoha's beaming.

"Also, Unova in general is famous for is music - I've met some really amazing musicians."
