Kotoha's pretty well settled in by now, so it's time to go shopping! She's wandering around the shops of Virgo Ward, Arthur in tow to act as a pack mule. In Kotoha's token nod to staying low-profile, the jackal-like Pokemon is wearing a pair of black sunglasses.

Currently, she's in Junes, leafing through a copy of the first Junes Invasion book and giggling.

[Cancer Ward] OPEN
A remnant of Atomic Robo's memories has stuck with Kotoha, and she's interested in exploring the possibilities - which is why she came to Cancer Ward. Currently, she's in a small hobby shop, looking over a selection of airsoft guns while Arthur waits outside, still wearing his sunglasses and loaded down with bags. The Lucario has his arms crossed underneath his chest spike and is leaning against the outside wall of the shop, visibly bored with the entire process of waiting.

[Capricorn Ward] OPEN
Lunchtime sees Kotoha in the Capricorn Plains, enjoying a pre-packaged sandwich and bottle of iced tea she picked up while Solar Logos and Tesla fly overhead in a mock dogfight, creating a brilliant light show - the Volcarona releasing torrents of flame which the Magnezone deflects with shining lasers and jolts of electricity.

It's a few minutes before the 13th Hour, and Kotoha is waiting in front of the JP's Headquarters with what appears to be a sea lion of some kind, one hand resting on the creature's shoulders.

Kotoha spent quite a while picking out the perfect outfit for her date - not as casual as her normal combination of culottes and black stockings, but not super formal either. She's currently smoothing out the plaid skirt and fussing with the hair ribbons while waiting for Ruri to show up at the small park they agreed to meet in.

[Fumi is nothing if not punctual, so right as the clock strikes midnight, she's striding out of the front of the JP's building. The security door closes quickly behind her.]

Kotoha waves happily as Fumi appears.

"Hey! Fumi, this is Tomoe. Tomoe, this is Fumi."

Tomoe rumbles in greeting, the point of her horn dipping briefly.

Tomoe.

[Fumi repeats the name, reaching up to touch the tip of the horn.]

That's its name?

"Yep! She's my very first Pokemon."

Kotoha smiles fondly, her gaze briefly going distant as she reminisces.

"Okay! Where'd you like to do this?"

The park in Capricorn ward is always full of demons at this time of night. It's probably as good a place as any.

Kotoha nods at this.

"I know the place! That's where I awakened my Persona!"

Okay, time to head out!

It seems to be a popular venue for that sort of thing.

Oh right, speaking of.

"So back then, you had two of them. How does that work?"

"I hope I didn't keep you waiting too long."

Kotoha manages to keep from stammering, but there's a slight rosy hue to her cheeks as she replies.

"Oh no, it's fine! I only showed up a little while ago."

She pauses to gaze admiringly at Ruri's outfit before continuing.

"You look really nice."

Ruri nods a bit, sadly deadpan as ever.

"Thank you. The ribbons you have look like they were a lot of work."

Kotoha giggles a bit at this, tugging self-consciously at one ribbon.

"Oh no, it was no problem."

...weren't they going to do something?

Oh right, coffee. Better get on that.

"So, um...is there a specific place you like to get coffee?"

She ponders for a bit going over her city map and of the many many places she's been.

"Not really. I've been trying to check out every place in the city but its a slow process. How about you?"

"I only got here about three weeks ago, so I'm still settling in."

A quick pause for thought.

"Actually, I think I saw a place nearby in Virgo yesterday?"

She nods a bit.

"The place by the train station is rather nice, though it isn't usually that full."

Kotoha grins at this.

"Well then, lead the way!"

VIRGO

Well, Shura was leafing through the available books and making a point to avoid Junes Invasion, but...

"Seriously, of all the books?"

"It's hilarious - it reminds me of one of my old films."

And then she actually looks over at whoever it was that addressed her and immediately blushes - just a little.

"Oh. Um. Hey."

Shura raises her hand a little. "Hi. What old film?"

Okay right calm down Kotoha she is fully clothed.

Deep breath.

"'Love & Battles 3: Battle At The Amusement Park'. It was, uh...really terrible."

And now she is warming to her subject and relaxing a bit!

"I mean, really, really bad. The big twist wasn't that the boyfriend had somehow survived with amnesia, it was that they were both dead the entire time. Literally the entire plot hinged upon ghosts somehow getting amnesia and forgetting they had ever died. Ghosts do not work that way!"

Kotoha throws her hands up in the air in exasperation.

"And of course it's the third-highest grossing film I've ever done. Brought in nearly a billion in the first week, and it's still doing DVD sales."

Forgive Shura while she facepalms. "Sounds about right."

Man, humanity, you are not gaining any respect from her here.

A shrug.

"Still, it was kind of...oddly lovable, I guess? Even though it was dumb, it was kind of a plucky sort of dumb. And, you know, I have to give it props for not being a soulless cash grab, just a labor of love that was tremendously bad."

Kotoha closes the copy of the Junes Invasion she was leafing through.

"Stories like this have a weird kind of charm, I guess."

"You think? I just... can't stand how bad this book is. Its badness offends me."

Cancer Ward

Dante happens to walk by and he spots Arthur. His eyebrow raises--looks like the low-profile thing isn't working well because those sunglasses don't cover up the whole fact there's a jackal-like creature looking bored.

Not like he hasn't seen weirder, though. "You waitin' for someone?" He asks. He isn't entirely sure why he's asking the creature such a thing. He highly doubts it can actually talk but what does he know?

"Honestly, at this point I'm used to it."
