Summary: We have a pool now!  Summer fun for everyone!
Warnings: Probably none.

[It's summer, and what would summer be without a pool?  Well, thankfully for the good citizens and Visitors of Hinoto-Ri, the public pool is finally open for business!  With three different pools, a snack bar, and plenty of space on the grass for playing frisbee or just laying out to get some sun, there's plenty of summertime fun for everyone!  There are also a number of pool toys to use, ranging from basketball hoops and plastic balls, water noodles, boogie boards, and just about anything else you can think of.]

"I fell in the pool at I think Aquarius when there was a teleporter error."

"Doesn't count."

She nods and slips into the water, shivering a bit as she stands in the shallows, pondering.

"Hrm..."

[prettytamer]

"Thaaat's more like it."

Midori is proud of you, Ruri.

Ruri snaps her hand and a small digital clock starts floating in the air above her with a 30 minute count down.

"That should give me enough time to be in the water before I have to apply more sunscreen."

[prettytamer]

Midori stares up at it. "...okay, that's kind of cool."

[electricyousei]

"Holography. I can generate other things too, but given my skin condition, its best to keep a timer running."

[prettytamer]

"Eh? Skin condition?"

[electricyousei]

"I'm an albino."

[prettytamer]

"Ooooh, that makes sense."

In Midori's world, people have white or gray hair for no reason.

In Ruri's too, but she really has no skin pigmentation. The reason she doesn't have red eyes is the nanomachines that turned hers gold but hey!

"That's the main reason I've been so wary of the pool here."

[prettytamer]

"Well, I can help you with your sunscreen if you want?"

[electricyousei]

"That would be appreciated when this reaches its saturation point. I've been under an umbrella most of the day."

[prettytamer]

"Mm! Leave it to me, I won't miss a tiny spot!"

Midori why do you make a super challenge of putting on sunscreen.

[electricyousei]

"You are a very passionate person, aren't you?"

[prettytamer]

"Absolutely!" Midori agrees, without even hesitating.

[electricyousei]

"....Are you a pilot?"

[prettytamer]

"Huh? No, I'm not a pilot. It would be cool, though."

[electricyousei]

"You remind me of a pilot on the first Nadesico."

[prettytamer]

"Was she cool?"

[electricyousei]

"If he had survived, he probably would have ended the war with the Jovians a year before it actually ended."

[prettytamer]

"That is pretty cool."

[electricyousei]

"He would say, 'May your death be as stylish as mine.' before he went out. The irony was he was shot in the back by an admiral that was supposedly on our side. I kind of wonder what he would think of the state of affairs back home sometimes."

[prettytamer]

"...that's not stylish at all..." Midori sighs. "But, it's good to think of people who've left us."
