When it is darkest, men see the stars...

The snow was falling softly in the night sky when the heavens turned red again. The nearly black sphere of the upcoming new moon meant the monster population wasn't overly aggressive and the creatures wouldn't offer much challenge....

...or that's what was supposed to happen.

That night, there was a strange pull. The demons had acted odd that day, but even when asked, they were unsure why. To keep the population safe, the mayor had asked the city to stay inside that night and let the city police and visitors do their job.

It was a good thing he had. As the first minute of the 13th hour continued, something happened...the signature tail in the sky of something appearing, much like when the Guests had shown up. Only this time it was hundred of such little signals. The sky was filled with them, and people were ushered inside buildings as much as possible. Something was wrong.

Something was very wrong.

New creatures began to move around the city. For some, it would be creatures they might have wanted to forget. Yet for others, this would soon be forgotten when not flesh but stone, rock and metal, rose from the very ground, pieces of their homeworld reborn in Hinoto-Ri...

Alright 13th hour post!

This will be up to you on what you want to do; start a new post where you can character's name and OPEN and write the days they'll be wandering during the 13th hour. Join other people's post, do some exploration, post them fighting monsters and just have some fun leveling up / interacting! For this log only You can level a persona twice meaning if they are used in a post with one group and in a post with another group, you can level up your persona twice. The conditions is that the fighting must happen on two different days. You can do this with only one persona, however.

For the buildings, each one gets its own thread. The original owners who submitted will be the first to see them, due to a strange pull that made they feel like they NEEDED to go to that area. What they do with this information is up to them; they can contact others in their group, start exploring by themselves or allow the thread to be open for others to come in with them...it's all up to you. That next morning, the government will be coming over to analyze them (that will be done offscreen, however).

FOR THE CREATURES 1) The creatures have to be in the Beastary for you to use them. You don't need to use creatures from your own home worlds either, as long as someone's put in a creature in there! No boss characters that night, since it isn't a full moon. Also make sure your characters could logically take onthe creatures you pick let's not have them take down a giant tree when they couldn't normally.]

[For lack of anything better to do, Ludwig will be patrolling the streets, examining the new areas and hunting down demons that seem to be out of control. Above all, his concern is people's safety.]

[Ludwig will come across a familiar face in Cancer district, locked in battle with something... slightly unusual. Despite the lack of threat the creature posed, Atsuro has a concerned expression on his face.]

What is this thing...?

[Ludwig did always like the technological marvels found in the Cancer district. Naturally, his patrols would take him there sooner or later. Then he spotted Atsuro and... the thing. He approaches Atsuro from behind.]

I'm wondering the same thing myself.

...Ludwig!

[Atsuro spares a half-glance behind him as the Specknose sneezes out a half-dozen bouncing balls in their direction. Naturally, they explode at some point along their trajectory.]

Tch...!

This thing isn't like a normal demon! I don't know what's going on, but it's probably gotta do with all the buildings falling from the sky...!

What on earth-?!

[Ludwig's not so calm anymore. He assumes a defensive pose, pistol in hand.]

So we've got buildings coming from the sky and strange monsters... what's next?!

I'm thinking more bombs.

[Atsuro's prediction proves to be correct as the Specknose sneezes again, this time with somewhat improved accuracy. Though he dives out of the way, the concussive force of the combined blast sends him rolling a bit further than he'd meant to go.]

Tch... I think it's weak to Fire, but watch out that you don't blow any of those ...booger-bombs up by accident!

"Weak to fire? I've got something for that." Focusing, Ludwig conjured one of the cards for a Velvet Room Persona and crushed it in one hand, summoning Vulcan. The man with the large hammer fired an Agi blast at the creature, dealing a fair amount of damage to it. "That seems to be working!"

The blast of Agi is followed up by another wave of fire from Atsuro's Gates, and under the combined assault, the Speckbomb vanishes in a burst of light. Atsuro had dealt a significant amount of damage before Ludwig showed up, it seemed.

"...What's going on here? Where did that thing come from?"

"Your guess is as good as mine," Ludwig replied, staring at where the Specknose had been. "I wonder if it has any connection to the new areas that have appeared."

"Monsters hitching a ride in the buildings?" Atsuro considers this for a few moments. "Yeah, maybe. ...That means there should only be so many of them, though, right? ...Unless they multiply pretty quickly."

"Or unless the 'door' that's letting letting both the buildings and the monsters doesn't close, which I doubt it will." Ludwig then turned to face Atsuro. "If new people can keep coming into this world, then it stands to reason that new places and new monsters will continue to come as well."

"Haah, that's a little depressing..." Atsuro considers this for a few moments as he thinks aloud to himself. "So in addition to the native demons now... we've got to deal with the monsters we already had from home, too."

A brief pause. "...Although, my monsters were exactly the same as these ones, anyway. ...But isn't it the guy in the butterfly mask bringing these new places in? Or are we saying there's another power like his?"

"Yes... that is troublesome indeed. It just means we'll have to be more careful on night patrolling now." Or at least, Ludwig would have to be, since he was the one doing a lot of night patrolling anyway. "There could be another power. It's possible that the masked man can open a dimensional door but can't always control what comes through it. This is all conjecture, though."

"Can he try closing it now? I think we've got enough people here at this point. They're not even letting us in to the most important places..."

Atsuro sighs slightly with a shrug.

"I should probably try to keep track of the new monsters, too, now that the COMP can't always identify them..."
