Time Of Truthiness!
Who: Everyone!
Where: All over the city!
Summary: The Time of Truthiness is upon Hinoto-Ri!
Warnings: Basically everything.
It begins. A strange aura spreads out over Hinoto-Ri, stealing into the hearts, minds, and mouths of every denizen of the city, changing them - embiggening their souls with the power of TRUTHINESS.
For one week, Hinoto-Ri becomes a city where no lies can exist. Who is responsible for this? Will their dedication to ABSOLUTE TRUTHINESS bring them victory...or defeat?

Not that it helps him, but whatever. Seems like the sort of thing a do-gooder like Philemon would do.

Zael's white-knight tendencies led him to trouble more times than Yurick cared to count. It gave the mage a rather constant headache.
"Have you been here a while, then?"

"You've been here that long? Bloody hell...." He rests his head in one hand for a moment, processing that bit of information. "We arrived not quite three months ago. I thought that was a long time, but it seems I was wrong. Not a comforting thought."
Yurick tends to gripe in order to hide fear, and right now he's deeply afraid. Between what he learned from Atsuro and now Naoya, the trap of Hinoto-Ri feels more and more constricting.

The sarcasm is a bit thick, and it's impossible to miss the resentment in his tone. Naoya can probably relate.

... Not entirely what he meant to say but whatever.

"Tell me you're not responsible for all these demons...." Maybe someone else had misused this "program" thing the other man had created. The alternative was too terrible to think about.

He shrugged a bit. "Believe me when I say that it was a good thing that I let people pact with demons at home. The alternative would be them having to fight powerful demons on their own."

There couldn't possibly be a logical reason for such a thing. Why would this man act so casual about bringing demons into the mortal world?

He crossed his arms and growled slightly. "Furthermore, humanity needed to show God that they were willing to break away from Him."

"It can't have been an easy choice to make, though." His voice is softer, almost apologetic rather than accusatory.

"And I've seen too many wars, from both the combatant and civilian sides, to hesitate in those kinds of decisions."
