You awaken in a dark room.

...To the sound of giggling.

"Ohmygosh, they're finally awake!" The shrill voice elicits an uncontrollable wince of pain; as the lights flicker on, the wince is liable to evolve into a full-on expression of abject horror. Everything is pink. The bed is pink. The walls are pink. The flower petals are pink. The confetti and streamers are pink. The enormous scented candles strewn about everywhere are pink.

............The tight briefs and/or lingerie that may or may not be on your body in place of your own underwear are pink (You do get to keep your clothing, so this part is optional if you don't want to play it - your characters can wake up in their normal bedclothes or day clothes if you like. However, if your characters do wake up in sexy underwear or their PJs, their normal clothes will be in a nearby dresser.)

Before you have too much time to consider exactly what's going on, the voice sounds again.

"We are going to have so much fun! We just knew the two of you would be perfect together. No connection to the outside world whatsoever! No need to thank us! Now, we'll just be here in the corner and you two can just... oh, you know!"

The fairy blushes and sighs longingly.

"OK! Good luck!"

Right about then, you realize someone else is in bed next to you.

[The event has begun! Please refer to this post to see how things will go. If you prefer not to have fairies directly involved, they will very generously allow you a little time ~alone~ if you ask, though they will return. Otherwise, they will be scribbling notes, drawing and narrating your "steamy romance" (romance may not be as steamy as implied). Characters can attack the fairies all they like, but it will have no effect, as they're projecting themselves in with magic while they watch from the safety of their little pixie laptops.

Remember that you control the fairies and what they say. We've created an npc account pixielove and you can find the password here, so have fun! You're free to use the account or not at your discretion.

Additionally, for the 14th to the 15th at night, anyone stuck together will not be able to contact the outside world. Don't worry, the fairies will let everyone know you're safe!]

Oh no, I'm not shy!

[He really wasn't. It was just not what he had expected. He talked big a lot as well, but 90% of the time he knew the others didn't take him seriously and viewed it as a joke. Well, sometimes it was also meant as a joke. He was a good boke...! Or at least he tried to be.

Alright, he could do this. He puts a hand on Nano's shoulder and emits the best sparkles he could. She seemed a little insecure so he had to step up, right?]

There's no need to be scared, Nano-chan.

[Someone should probably tell him that copying the pick-up lines from other Shadows isn't the best idea.]

[Nano is pretty easily led, and also definitely prone to getting swept up in the mood. And the mood here is very fluffy and romantic. Perfect for an innocent young girl's first kiss being stolen by a dashing and sparkly new love.

Truth be told, she isn't sure herself if she likes Teddie enough for a kiss, but the fairies do make a persuasive argument, and she can feel what passes for a heart inside of her overclocking itself and running like crazy as she blushes even more deeply.

Finally, after a few deep breaths and an admittedly muddled self-assessment of what she's feeling right now, she nods her assent.]

...Mm. O-okay.

[And she closes her eyes. She's pretty sure you're supposed to do that.]

[Kaguya just watches as Fumi scrounges through the drawers. What the woman was looking for, she had no idea. If these fairies had placed it here, though, was another story. It would be amusing if Fumi searched the room top to bottom without finding whatever it was.]

What are you looking for now?

[Even is eyeing that there puppet suspiciously for a moment, before he gives a 'hmph'.]

No. What is important here is leaving. [Turning his attention to his tasteless surroundings - ugh, having to even touch that ridiculous closet door to check...] I'm sure you too would rather be at home?

That's not too bad. How about I help you get on, then I'll leave and you can call out when you're ready for me to come back in. Sound good?

[There's food for them to last for a while, the bathroom's pretty huge, but he can't find their proper clothing anywhere...]

Hey! Where'd you guys put 'em? We don't want to be freezing over here!

[He knows they are listening...]

By this time, Kanji had fallen out of bed. When he got up, it was a series of panic and lashing out.

"I'D LIKE TO ASK THE SAME THING, ASSHOLE!"

He had grabbed the nearby bed table, making the heart-shaped lamp crash to the floor and held it up to him as fast as the halberd came close to his neck.

"I AIN'T GOT NO IDEA WHAT'S HAPPENING, BUT IF I DON'T GET ANSWERS, HEADS ARE GONNA ROLL!"

[While they certainly weren't something they had in Gensokyo, she'd learned about quite a few new little pieces of technology since she'd arrived in Hinoto-Ri. She had little to no experience with most of it, but at least she knew about it.]

What the hell was this? Fairies?! She stared at them, mouth open as Ayumu threw a pillow, watching it go right through.

"What in the..." It didn't even look like they were physically here, and that just made her even more pissed off. "I bet they are watching this from somewhere else..."

She walks away, bed sheet and all, before finding her item on the table, along with some clothing that were definitely way too pink for her style. But at least something more than she was wearing.

"No one's getting anyone," she announces, voice shaking with anger and frigged befitting of an ice queen. She points at the fairies with one finger; "I'm gonna go get dressed and then we'll figure a way out to beat you."

"Tee hee, this one's going to have so much fighting! I bet everyone's going to love it!"

She ignored that and walked right into the bathroom.

[Good. Now that the Luger's no longer a threat, he can focus on tucking his shirt into his pants and pulling his jacket on.]

Really? I'm not sure a couple of little fairies would take that many precautions. [He makes sure to shoot the duo in question a quick glare as he says it.]

[The fairies wave their hands dismissively, a little annoyed.]

Shh, focus on each other, you two!

Hmph. I suppose we may as well try. [He fiddles with his COMP a little - after all, he's still learning the ins and outs of the thing - and...]

... I'm afraid it's no use.

[spiritofjustice]

[It strikes him as peculiar that the COMP doesn't work. He's pretty sure it utilizes nanotechnology, so what could be blocking it? Once he's got his jacket on, he wanders over to the nearby window to see if he can open it. ....No luck. And they're up on a high floor, too. Eighth or ninth, probably.]

I can't believe this is happening.

[Are Shelly and Bobby done? Good. The fairies will continue then.]

Neither of them are used to heartfelt intimacy, and so, the preparations drag on. But they are necessary, and both know it. The windows are locked. The two are alone, and absolutely no one knows they are here... free to satisfy their deepest desires.

[Okay, this is starting to get just a tiny bit... unbearable, perhaps.]

We need a plan. We...

... I suggest we say nothing else to each other, for as long as we are here.

[...... That's Shelly's plan? That's all of it? Bobby's expectations were a little higher than that. He's becoming awfully tempted to shatter the window somehow and use his grapple hook to escape, even if he'd rather avoid using his spy gadgets in front of other people.]

But... It could take days until we're rescued. It's them who should just sit here in silence, not us.

That's right. And unless part of the fairies' plot is for me to die of boredom, I need to find it.

He's right: they haven't shared a bed together in a long time. Those days are long behind the both of them now. But some things still don't change all that much, and Shinjiro is still as heavy of a sleeper as he's always been—more than Akihiko would ever be. It often takes more than the sharp notes of an alarm clock to wake him up, so he's hardly disturbed when Akihiko wakes, and starts to explore the room. Shinjiro might have been very well content to sleep longer, and avoid waking up in this current pink-roomed monstrosity that they've somehow landed themselves in.

But the sound of breaking glass dashes those plans pretty quick, and the noise is foreign enough, sharp enough, to startle Shinjiro awake, and he bolts upright, brain still foggy, but working quickly to piece together the situation, so he doesn't look startled for long. His eyes immediately fly int he direction the sound had came from, suddenly aware of the strange, unfamiliar surroundings and all the broken glass and Aki standing in the center of it.

What?

"The hell, Aki?"

[She very pointedly ignores the fairies, although the faint blush on her cheeks makes it obvious she heard them.]

There has to be something more interesting to do than twenty questions.

[One of the fairies helpfully suggests that seven minutes in heaven might be a fun game. Look, there's a closet right over there. Yuzu is not dignifying with a response. Much like the computer suggestion. Instead, she's going to get up and start poking around the room. More to have something to occupy her than because she actually expects to find anything good.]

Actually... this is a pretty fancy hotel suite.....

[Under other circumstances, a free night in a place like this would be awesome.]

[Annnd now the fairies can have a confused head tilt. Were they talking about him....? That's twice now they've used that word. So he turns back to Kotoha, points at himself and asks.]

Beast....?

Ugh. You wouldn't catch me in-

[But she stops short and whirls around excitedly when he mentions finding his clothes.]

Really? Do you think mine are in there?

[Not that she hasn't worked in a corset and bloomers before, but she doesn't want to make a habit of it. Besides, if her clothes are in there, maybe some of her tools are too. She walks over to look through the drawer herself.]

...We might as well enjoy it then.

Is there a TV and a mini-bar? They can bill the fairies if they need us to pay for it, right?

[Atsuro will move to climb out of the bed, pause, then take one of the pillows with him to cover up his... upper half. ...He would hardly care in front of anyone else but it was just weird with Yuzu.]
