Summary: The most terrible romantic day of the year has arrived!
Warnings: Lingerie and fluff

You awaken in a dark room.

...To the sound of giggling.

"Ohmygosh, they're finally awake!" The shrill voice elicits an uncontrollable wince of pain; as the lights flicker on, the wince is liable to evolve into a full-on expression of abject horror. Everything is pink. The bed is pink. The walls are pink. The flower petals are pink. The confetti and streamers are pink. The enormous scented candles strewn about everywhere are pink.

............The tight briefs and/or lingerie that may or may not be on your body in place of your own underwear are pink (You do get to keep your clothing, so this part is optional if you don't want to play it - your characters can wake up in their normal bedclothes or day clothes if you like. However, if your characters do wake up in sexy underwear or their PJs, their normal clothes will be in a nearby dresser.)

Before you have too much time to consider exactly what's going on, the voice sounds again.

"We are going to have so much fun! We just knew the two of you would be perfect together. No connection to the outside world whatsoever! No need to thank us! Now, we'll just be here in the corner and you two can just... oh, you know!"

The fairy blushes and sighs longingly.

"OK! Good luck!"

'The two of you'? What t --

Right about then, you realize someone else is in bed next to you.

[The event has begun! Please refer to this post to see how things will go. If you prefer not to have fairies directly involved, they will very generously allow you a little time ~alone~ if you ask, though they will return. Otherwise, they will be scribbling notes, drawing and narrating your "steamy romance" (romance may not be as steamy as implied). Characters can attack the fairies all they like, but it will have no effect, as they're projecting themselves in with magic while they watch from the safety of their little pixie laptops.

Remember that you control the fairies and what they say. We've created an npc account pixielove and you can find the password here, so have fun! You're free to use the account or not at your discretion.

Additionally, for the 14th to the 15th at night, anyone stuck together will not be able to contact the outside world. Don't worry, the fairies will let everyone know you're safe!]

[She's adjusting various screws and twisting dials while humming to herself. After another few seconds, she whirls around.]

HA! Got it! Get in the bathroom!

[The gun starts making a loud whirring noise and the light flashes dangerously.]

Roger!

[He's being way too cheery about this. Waving Agatha over to hurry, he'll duck inside once she's safely in before slamming the door. Probably all the commotion will have woken the fairies up again, but if not, then the impending explosion probably will..!]

[She rushes in behind him. The fairies wake up juuust in time to wonder what all the commotion is about before

whiiirrrrr...... BOOM!! The walls vibrate from the sheer force of it, and the fairies squeal in surprised fright. Agatha grins slightly.]

That got their attention...

[After everything falls quiet again, Agatha cautiously starts opening the door.]

I would've been more surprised if it hadn't!

[He peers anxiously towards the doorway.]

Mission accomplished?

[After the smoke clears, she sighs in a huff. Besides some impressive scorch marks, the door remains undamaged.]

No. I guess there's no forcing our way out....

[The fairies are excitedly whispering about the possibility adding a series of explosion metaphors in the more romantic scenes.]

No way....

[He waves away the smoke that drifts in front of him as they step out of the bathroom. Glancing in the direction of the fairies, if not perhaps a little disappointed that they aren't more bothered about the explosion, Soujirou sighs.]

...I guess we're stuck for now, then.

I guess so...

[Well, she's about tapped out for ideas.]

So what now?

Mmmm.... I...don't know. Do you think they'll let us out eventually?

I suppose they'll get bored with us eventually. Hopefully.

Yeah...

Well, they fell asleep on us once before, maybe they'll get the hint if we just ignore them again.

Worth a shot. They're clearly here for a show, which they won't get if we're boring.

[There is a disappointed 'Aww...' from the fairies.]

[He grins a bit as he hears that, nodding at Agatha. Not that he's sure just how long the fairies expected to keep them to begin with, but there could certainly be no harm in trying to coerce them into cutting their stay a little shorter.]

[She also glances up to the fairies, and then smiles a little mischeivously.]

So.... whats the most boring topic you can think of?

[If they're gonna do this, they may as well go all out.]</small

Ummm....

[The question's a little harder than he'd thought it would be. After all, who purposely thought about boring things? He grasps at the first thing that comes to mind]

...how to do laundry, maybe?

Hmm, well...

I do know a few ways to deal with stubborn machine oil stains.

That sounds useful! I don't have much experience with that myself, but I guess food's a more common thing to get stains from. At least with a decent detergent, most of them come out.

If you can get a decent detergent. When I was a kid we had to wash everything in home made soap. It was such a pain to make.

Eeeh, you had to make it? I wouldn't even know where to begin to do that! I guess there's a lot of stuff I've taken for granted...

Well mostly I helped Lilith make it. But I also had to help her can vegetables for the winter and things like that. It's a lot more convenient when you can just buy those things.

That's pretty amazing, Agatha-san! I'm so used to just being able to get things from the store. Even in Elder Tale, getting materials for use to be made into something else only requires purchasing or fighting monsters, maybe even going on quests. ...although I guess the latter would be more on the extreme side.

It's really not all that impressive. Most of the other families in Beetleburg did the same things.

Maybe, but then compared to what you're used to, you'd probably think us very lazy- or at least I would. We even sometimes think it extra work just to go to the store to buy things already prepared and canned.

Haha, no not really. I haven't even considered canning or making soap or anything like that since I got here. I just buy it all in stores now.
