Summary: The most terrible romantic day of the year has arrived!

You awaken in a dark room.

...To the sound of giggling.

"Ohmygosh, they're finally awake!" The shrill voice elicits an uncontrollable wince of pain; as the lights flicker on, the wince is liable to evolve into a full-on expression of abject horror. Everything is pink. The bed is pink. The walls are pink. The flower petals are pink. The confetti and streamers are pink. The enormous scented candles strewn about everywhere are pink.

............The tight briefs and/or lingerie that may or may not be on your body in place of your own underwear are pink (You do get to keep your clothing, so this part is optional if you don't want to play it - your characters can wake up in their normal bedclothes or day clothes if you like. However, if your characters do wake up in sexy underwear or their PJs, their normal clothes will be in a nearby dresser.)

Before you have too much time to consider exactly what's going on, the voice sounds again.

"We are going to have so much fun! We just knew the two of you would be perfect together. No connection to the outside world whatsoever! No need to thank us! Now, we'll just be here in the corner and you two can just... oh, you know!"

The fairy blushes and sighs longingly.

"OK! Good luck!"

Right about then, you realize someone else is in bed next to you.

[The event has begun! Please refer to this post to see how things will go. If you prefer not to have fairies directly involved, they will very generously allow you a little time ~alone~ if you ask, though they will return. Otherwise, they will be scribbling notes, drawing and narrating your "steamy romance" (romance may not be as steamy as implied). Characters can attack the fairies all they like, but it will have no effect, as they're projecting themselves in with magic while they watch from the safety of their little pixie laptops.

Remember that you control the fairies and what they say. We've created an npc account pixielove and you can find the password here, so have fun! You're free to use the account or not at your discretion.

Additionally, for the 14th to the 15th at night, anyone stuck together will not be able to contact the outside world. Don't worry, the fairies will let everyone know you're safe!]

[Oh. Oh, hell no. Whoever thinks this is funny is so very wrong. The room she can deal with, the valentine's decorations are fine, Atsuro being here is not a problem. This would be worse with a stranger. The pink, very skimpy lingerie however, is just not fair. And those pixies are just asking for it. Hiding behind the sheet, she pokes at Atsuro frantically.]

Atsuro! Wake up!

[otakuro]

Hngh...

[Atsuro slowly blinks his eyes open. ...It's a lot colder than he remembers it being.]

[wait he knows that voice]

Yuzu!? What are you doing in my r -- ............

................What.

[pretty_pink_ribbon]

We've either been kidnapped or one of us is having a nightmare. Take your pick.

[She points at the fairies.]

Either way, I'm pretty sure they have something to do with it.

[otakuro]

[Atsuro slowly turns red as he fully awakens, his mind taking in the setting they're in.]

G-Geez. ...What happened to your cl -- .......What happened to my clothes?!

[He nearly falls out of the bed.]

...This isn't what I signed up for.

[pretty_pink_ribbon]

[Yuzu has been bright red since she woke up, but she's still managing to cover her embarrassment with anger.]

Yeah? Well I didn't sign up at all!

[She throws a small heart shaped pillow at the fairies, who just giggle as it hits the wall behind them. She huffs in irritation.]

Do you have your comp? Mine's gone.

[She is not above trying to teach the pixies a lesson the old fashioned way.]

[otakuro]

...No. I think it's just us. ...And these things that pass for 'clothes'.

So... we're stuck in here, right?

[Atsuro pauses for a moment.]

Wanna learn how to program?

[pretty_pink_ribbon]

[ /rolling her eyes.]

Yeah, because that's just how I wanted to spend Valentine's day. Playing with computers.

[And while they're on the subject.]

Do you even have a computer in here anyway?

[otakuro]

No, but... you could learn the basics using pen and paper. See? You wouldn't even have to get near a computer.

[Atsuro is teasing. ...Probably.]

So, uh...

We could play 20 Questions.

[pixielove]

[The fairies are giggling again.]

We can think of a few things you could do....

Well, it's a good thing no one asked you, then.

[pretty_pink_ribbon]

[She very pointedly ignores the fairies, although the faint blush on her cheeks makes it obvious she heard them.]

There has to be something more interesting to do than twenty questions.

[One of the fairies helpfully suggests that seven minutes in heaven might be a fun game. Look, there's a closet right over there. Yuzu is not dignifying with a response. Much like the computer suggestion. Instead, she's going to get up and start poking around the room. More to have something to occupy her than because she actually expects to find anything good.]

Actually... this is a pretty fancy hotel suite.....

[Under other circumstances, a free night in a place like this would be awesome.]

[otakuro]

...We might as well enjoy it then.

Is there a TV and a mini-bar? They can bill the fairies if they need us to pay for it, right?

[Atsuro will move to climb out of the bed, pause, then take one of the pillows with him to cover up his... upper half. ...He would hardly care in front of anyone else but it was just weird with Yuzu.]

See, now that's a good idea!

[She opens up one of the side doors and gasps.]

Oh my God! Atsuro! Check this out!

[There's a jacuzzi. A heart shaped jacuzzi, but a jacuzzi none the less. Next to it is a table with a champagne bottle in a bucket of ice next to two glasses and a plate of chocolate covered strawberries. Yuzu is poking a toe into the jacuzzi to test the water.]

This is so cool.

[Even her current state of undress is forgotten in the excitement. She will never stay in a room this nice again. Might as well enjoy it.]

[otakuro]

[Atsuro is slightly less excited about this revelation.]

Uhhhh....

Yuzu, we don't have any swimstuff with us. I'm pretty sure the meaning was for us to get in that thing... you know. In our birthday suits.

[pretty_pink_ribbon]

[She huffs and ignores the squealing from the pixies.]

So? We'll just go in like this. It's not that big a deal. C'mon, when are we ever gonna stay in a fancy hotel suite again?

[otakuro]

I think you're just going to encourage them.

[Atsuro is a total Debbie Downer here.]

But I guess... I mean, if you really want to. ...We can just kind of pretend they aren't there or something.

[pretty_pink_ribbon]

[Yeah, seriously Atsuro. Stop ruining her fun.]

See? That's the spirit!

[She plucks up the plate of chocolate covered strawberries and places it next to the jacuzzi. Because if they're gonna be decadent, lets go all the way. And then carefully eases her way into the hot tub.]

[otakuro]

That's going to mel --

[Oh whatever. Atsuro will stare at the hot tub for a moment or two before gingerly sitting himself down and... sitting above it to extend his feet in.]

We can't sit in a hot tub for a week, you know.

What makes you think we'll be here for a week?

[She doesn't seem all that concerned about that particular possibility. She selects a strawberry and nibbles on it.]

I think on average, weird things in Hinoto-Ri last a week or two. Sometimes longer.

[He shrugs.]

Maybe they think we'll start smooching or something if we're stuck here long enough.

[pretty_pink_ribbon]

Yeah, but look at the decorations. This is obviously for Valentine's day. Which is just a day.

[She finishes her strawberry and stretches out, making herself comfortable.]

We'll probably get out of here tomorrow. No big deal.

[She giggles a little at his suggestion.]

Well, I guess if we run out of other stuff to do.

[She's joking, but the fairies squeal in delight. One of them whispers, I told you so! ]

U-Uh.

[HAHAHA obviously a joke wait maybe it wasn't a joke was she surreptitiously suggesting it in the 'haha like that would happen' way or the 'i secretly want this' way quick write a program to analyze her tone and facial expression at the exact moment of speech except she'd already said it maybe he could get her to repeat that statement if he prompted her the correct way all he had to do was reintroduce the subject in a natural manner at some later time unless it seemed awkward to do it later maybe he should do it now while they were on the topic yeah better not to reroute it later no telling what might happen in the time between conversations ok wait she was staring at him how long had he been silently thinking like this maybe it's already been like 20 minutes and he didn't realize never mind whatever just say something relevant but only slightly so it doesn't seem desperate or needy or creepy do it atsuro do it go.]

[Okaaay. Why is he staring at her with that weird look on his face? Was it something she said? Did she get chocolate on her face when she ate that strawberry? Is there something really terrible behind her? She's about to just ask him when....

what did he just say?]

[...............................Atsuro waits for a few seconds just in case Yuzu wants to ask him to snog but he figures it's not happening anyway.]

Hey, look, chocolates.

[pretty_pink_ribbon]

Um, yeah. Chocolates.

[Wow. Okay, no. They are backing that right up.]

What's with you all of a sudden? Are you feeling okay?
