Hand me some of the blue ones....

[People in the Scorpio district today might notice a young girl decorating the outside wall of the Mark Immortal's theater. She's standing on a step ladder while an odd little creature hands her up various paints, brushes and other supplies. Right now she's using bits of colored glass, taken from various broken bottles found in the trash. The picture seems to be of people lining up to go to the theater. Those who look closer might notice that the people seem to be familiar. They're all various visitors that Akane has met or seen. They might even see themselves. Everyone is depicted as cheerful and friendly. The blue glass is currently being used to decorate someone's dress. And the little girl seems to be having a pretty good time herself.

.....But does she even have permission to do this?]

Ooh, that looks great! What do you think, Shizuo-kun?

[Honestly, he sees the Timburr before the human. With how... colorful this district was, he almost didn't give it a second glance.

Jonathan does notice the colored glass and paints, though, and looks up to see a girl standing to the wall. His first reaction is to warn her about using a step ladder (she does seem relatively young after all!- then again, this place tends to have deceiving ages). Eyes casting on the display around her, though, it does seem to be quite cheery.

I wanted to make something that showed everyone being happy together.

[He's assuming you actually got permission to paint there. Man if you didn't that would be... really awkward.] Who are all the people there?

They're all people who live here! Or used to. I've been painting the people I've met and the people I've seen around.

Oh, I see. I'm new here myself, so, I don't know many of the residents here. [Hm. Wonder if he can... recognize any of them.] ...Before I forget- my name is Jonathan. What's yours?

I'm Akane. It's nice to meet you.

[She notices him looking though and smiles.]

I could put you in, if you want.

[REALLY??? uh he means-] I'd be honored. Only if it's convenient for you, of course.

[He is happy, though! That someone will actually make him a part of something.]

Akane-chan...? What are you doing?

[Nano eyes up the mural as she passes by.]

Nee-chan! Hi! What do you think?

[She gestures at the half finished mural proudly.]

It's beautiful! But is it okay to paint this here?

Sure! Those Velvet room people asked me to paint something on a building.

[They have that kind of authority, right?]

Oh! That's okay, then.

[Clearly they do.]

Do you need any help?

Sure! There's a lot of people in town that I don't know, but I bet you do. You can add some of them.

[Nano may also notice several people who aren't in town anymore, like Nik and Judas. She misses them.]

Uwa~ Did you do this all yourself?

[That praise comes from a young man wearing what could pass for traditional Japanese garb, save for the pack slung over a shoulder. He knows he should get more modern outfits for his wardrobe, but he's comfortable in a kimono and hakama, so it still happens to be his favorite, even if it does earn him a few strange looks now and then.

He smiles easily as he looks up at the wall, taking in the details.]

[She half turns on the ladder so she can see him. The Timburr reaches out to hold the ladder steady.]

Do you like it?

[He takes a step forward, but it seems that the girl's associate has the ladder covered.]

Mn! It looks great!

Thank you! I wanted to paint something that would make people smile.

[She climbs down carefully.]

These are all the people I've seen around town.

[He turns his attention back towards the mural.]

Did it take you a long time?

[She shrugs.]

I guess so. I've been here all day. And I'll probably have to come back tomorrow.

Hey, Akane.

[He noticed her working, and decided to stop and see how she is. His Murkrow, on his shoulder, squawks to his fellow Pokemon. He's also got a mid-sized white dog on a leash (how many animals does this guy have?), and it trots up to sniff her shins.]

How are you doing? I haven't seen you since Nimbasa.

[It takes her a second, because back then he'd been a kid thanks to city related shenanigans. But then she smiles brightly.]

Riku-kun! Hi! How are you?

[She climbs down from the ladder to pet the dog.]

Aw! He's so cute! What's his name?

That's right. Good, thanks. And this is Naoki.

[The dog licks her fingers, wagging its tail.]

This is quite the mural.

I see that. Is this... everyone you've met here?

[He moves to the depiction of himself, peering thoughtfully at it. It's quite similar to him, actually, though he's a child in the image.]

[She follows his gaze curiously.]
