Summary: Garviel teaches people how to fight with guns, blades, hand to hand, and everything but silly personas pretty much.
Warnings: Manliness, possible combat, a lot of talking.
[Loken waits, a few spare blades and a few longarms and pistols in a fairly careless-looking pile beside him, holding his chainsword two-handed, almost challenging anyone to approach him and learn. He is 8 feet tall, and an imposing figure at the edge of the plains, just before the forest.]

. It looks like it could blow someone's head clean off.

"Yes."

Pit gives the gun a good look-over.

"Interesting weapon you got there. Can it take out these monsters?"

[greyerrant]

"Yes." It would appear Loken is as talkative as always, clearly considering the bolter sufficient for the task at hand. Well, it is capable of punching through tank armor, so it isn't like he is wrong.

"Don't talk much, do you?" he says with a laugh. "Won't do you much good if you're dead set on teaching people how to fight."

[greyerrant]

"No." He shrugs his armored shoulders, the auto-reactive pauldrons shifting as he does so.

"People learn by doing."

"So, say someone comes up to you and says 'Hey Mr. Knight Suit Man, I'm here to learn how to fight,' and all you do is shoot your weapon without telling them what you're doing... That counts as teaching?"

"No." He doesn't elaborate, but that clearly isn't quite how he'd teach them.

"O...kay. How would you teach them?"

[greyerrant]

"Pick up a blade."

He gestures to the pile.

Pit glances at the pile.

Then breaks his bow into two blades.

"Already have some."

[greyerrant]

Loken doesn't respond further, just gunning his chainsword to life with the shriek of the toothed saw-blades tearing through the air, and stepping in with a heavy-handed swing to test Pit's guard. He's still moving within human limits.

For the moment.

Pit dashes lightning-quick to Loken's side, bouncing on the balls of his feet.

"That was slow."

[greyerrant]

No verbal response. He simply stops restraining his speed to that of a human. Fully unleashing the posthuman genehanced potential of a Legiones Astartes, Loken backhands his right fist toward's the side of Pit's skull, leaving the sword in a left-handed grip as he reacts without even conscious thought. The servo-motors of his armor hum in response, the muscle fibers of the powered suit flexing as they react to his neural impulses.

The attack connects; Pit plummets to the ground. He rebounds quickly. Without a second thought, he launches towards Loken's side with the two blades held just before him.

Loken turns like an opening gate, pivoting back as his left hand, bearing the chainsword, sweeps around in a hard, clearing parry, looking to deflect pit's charge and break his rhythm.

It only stops Pit's attack from connecting straight away. His blades clash with Loken's a few times before Pit circles halfway around him with the same blinding speed, aiming his blades straight at Loken's waist.

He whirls to readress, this time using his chainsword to catch the incoming thrust with a clearing upwards block, reversing the chains of the chainblade to throw Pit's grasp off, and follows up by lashing out with a front kick at pit's chest, clearly willing to combat blade-work with a physical assault.

Pit dashes to the side once more, and...

Does nothing.

"You're not a good sparring partner."

[greyerrant]

The space marine just stares at Pit.

Pit stares back.

The space marine is staring into a Pit.

[greyerrant]

The Silent Wolf is silent. He's obviously annoyed, and waits for Pit to hold forth, or leave.

"Aren't you going to give some pointers or something? I mean, you're the one who's offering lessons..."

[greyerrant]

"We learn by doing."

He moves forward, sweeping out a strike intended to make pit Dash to the side, having analyzed his evasive patterns from the earlier clashes. He is clearly trying to get a feel for Pit's style.

Pit groans, once more executing a dodge.

"You're worse than that guy who was all '~can you endure this harsh training?~"

[greyerrant]

He'd been counting on that dodge. Dodging pit, meet hooking fist from Garviel's empty hand.

"Don't be predictable. Parry and block."
