Who: Pit. Open.
Where: Capricorn. (His headmate is not happy.)
Summary: Pit takes out his aggression on random monsters during the 13th Hour.
Warnings: RAAAR and I'M GONNA KEEL U

Pit's in a bad mood. That's why he's out in Capricorn during the 13th Hour with a bow he's using to beat up monsters with, at close range--when he isn't summoning Perseus to do that for him. Pit's pretty agile, but he can't take on a bunch of monsters on his own. Well, not without his persona. He's not thinking about back-up in the form of a sparring partner, 'cause it's whenever he thinks about other people that he starts hitting monsters the hardest.

You'd think he'd be happier to see familiar faces from home!

"Is that a yes or a no?" he says, summoning his persona--a man in a tunic holding the severed head of a serpent-haired woman. He unleashes an attack that weakens quite a few shadows. Pit summons him again to perform the same attack, finishing the monsters off. "I don't want you near me if you're just gonna give me a hard time."

"No, you idiot. Pay attention."

Nice Persona you got there, Pit; why is he not shocked that you would use one? He couldn't be any less interested in awakening his own.

"Would it kill you not to call me 'idiot' all the time?"

"Only when you stop being one, Pit."

...yes, he did just call his original by name. He also just split that shadow in half with a lucky critical shot.

"We're only hard on you because you love making things difficult for yourself, you know. Like, seriously, we've never met anyone as much of a glutton for punishment as you are yourself."

...stop making him feel slightly less moody!

"That's what you think."

Not content to let Perseus do all the work, Pit lunges forward, slicing a monster with his blades.

"It wouldn't hurt to be a little nicer to me, you know."

No; he's the moody one here, not you.

"Maybe not, but maybe you should make it easier to be nice to you."

Another shot came... but it was unusually wide and not at all accurate. The homing ability couldn't compensate and the blast ended up hitting the street, leaving a scorch mark behind. The reason why was soon obvious, as Dark Pit let out something like a strangled curse a few seconds later.

"Pittoo?"

But Dark Pit doesn't need to respond for the answer to present itself to Pit. He rapidly fires a handful of arrows from his bow, summoning Perseus to execute a Mind Slice as he does. Those monsters that weren't killed in the torrent of attacks are now acting rather...confusedly.

(Because they're confused, see?)

It was a help, but it didn't help Dark Pit from falling off the roof of the building. Thankfully there were some awnings to break his fall, but unfortunately he kept breaking through them until he hit the brush at the base of the building.

"Pittoo!"

Pit rushes towards the base of the building, kneeling down by the bush and offering Dark Pit a hand.

"Are you okay?"

Dark Pit pushed himself up on his hands and knees, waving Pit's help off. Ugh, ow... that hurt...

"Do I look okay...?" he muttered in annoyance, ruffling his feathers.

A glowing blue card appears before Pit. He crushes it, summoning a persona Dark Pit's certain to recognize as his twin back as he was in the 1980's. The pixelated angel flutters its wings, casting a Dia spell on Dark Pit.

"That should help a little."

It did help, if only a little. Don't expect thanks for it though, Pit, because Dark Pit doesn't do the T-word. He groaned as he sat up, eyeing the little pixelated angel but... just... no comment. Just no comment.

"Dammit..." he muttered under his breath, hoping up to his feet.

"You're welcome."

"Yeah," he muttered under his breath... before looking past Pit.

Oh. Crap.

"Pit..." he muttered, pointing behind him... and the massive hoard of monsters that were lurking there.

Pit looks behind him.

As expected, his response is an overly exaggerated, comical "WUAH!!!!"

He immediately summons 8-Bit Pit to set fire to them all.

"...and you wonder why we make fun of you," Dark Pit muttered under his breath, swapping out his staff for the Silver Bow. If he was going to be stuck in close quarters, he needed to be able to defend himself.

"What the hell were you thinking, coming out during the Thirteenth Hour anyway?"

"Blowing off steam," he says, switching back to Perseus. The spell he casts doesn't do anything to the monsters; instead, it bathes him in an orange light.

The next attack he casts, however--a charged Aeon Rain--does a considerable amount of damage to several of the enemies.

Dark Pit, meanwhile, is handing back, taking careful aim and firing at anything that looks like it's going to try and eat them. Seriously, you are such a show off with your Persona thing... who needs 'em?

"Chill out then," he replied, shooting one in the eye. "This is nothing different from usual, just in a different place."

"Well maybe it gets on my nerves!" he says, firing at a few of the monsters as Perseus casts another Aeon Rain.

"Well maybe you need to learn that it goes both ways."

He shifted his aim up, shooting right through a shadow that tried to jump at them.

"I can't help who I am! I was this way before you were even created! If you can't accept that, then leave me alone! All you do is make me feel bad and even worse than I even bothered trying to save you!"

And that's when a nearby monster gets hacked to death with his blade.s

"You think I don't know that, you idiot! I came from you, remember?"

Dark Pit spun around, shooting another shadow right in the face.

"You think I'm not the same way? Why the hell do you think I get so annoyed when you call me by that damn nickname?"

The damn Shadow didn't want to go down, so Dark Pit decided to make it so by slamming his fist down on it.

"You really have no room to complain! You dish it out as much as you take it, idiot!"

"Except when I call you Pittoo--" hack "--I mean it affectionately!" slash "But when you call me an idiot--" chop chop chop "--you're just being mean!" ka-pow!

"I don't even know if you wanted to save me or if you were just doing that so you wouldn't die!"

And that's when another persistent monster gets kicked right in the face.

"I hardly consider it affection!" Dark Pit snapped back at him, ripping his bow apart and stabbing both both ends into the body of a monster. "It's annoying, and you completely dismiss it when I tell you so!"

He spun around, mouth open to say more than that, when he got bodily tackled by a shadow, sending him bouncing down the sidewalk.

"Pit--!"

Whether he meant to say "Pittoo" or just call him "Pit", the World Will Never Know. (Unless you ask the narration, who will say yes he meant to call him Pit. "Dark Pit" is a little too much to say when your twin just got knocked down the sidewalk.)

Unfortunately, asking Pit himself won't yield any results, as a monster manages to intercept him as he runs to Dark Pit--intercept him, and knock him unconscious.
