Summary: Pit takes out his aggression on random monsters during the 13th Hour.

Pit's in a bad mood. That's why he's out in Capricorn during the 13th Hour with a bow he's using to beat up monsters with, at close range--when he isn't summoning Perseus to do that for him. Pit's pretty agile, but he can't take on a bunch of monsters on his own. Well, not without his persona. He's not thinking about back-up in the form of a sparring partner, 'cause it's whenever he thinks about other people that he starts hitting monsters the hardest.

You'd think he'd be happier to see familiar faces from home!

Pitstain, why do you have to keep getting yourself in so much trouble?

Once the monsters start getting extra aggressive, there might be a blast coming from somewhere on high, picking off the ones that were getting too close.

Oh, so he can have the advantage of saying he helped while sitting safe and cozy on his perch?

"What do you want, Pittoo?" he asks once the monsters have thinned out.

"Didn't I already tell you?" Dark Pit called down from on top of his building. There was a moment, before a blast from his personal staff shot uncomfortably close to Pit, nailing a shadow in the head.

"You're not allowed to do anything stupid while I'm here."

Right. And why was he doing that, anyway? Out of some sense of self-preservation? Of course.

Pit dashes towards an oncoming monster with his bow, hacking at it rapidly and sending it flying. "I don't need your help."

"That's not how it looks from here."

This is why he always has the high ground, Pit. Because you can see everything from on high, like the monster that would have bit your head off while you were busy hacking away.

"Are you just here to pick on me again?"

"Why do I have to keep repeating myself with you?"

And bam; down goes another Shadow. Seriously, Pit, pay attention.

"Is that a yes or a no?" he says, summoning his persona--a man in a tunic holding the severed head of a serpent-haired woman. He unleashes an attack that weakens quite a few shadows. Pit summons him again to perform the same attack, finishing the monsters off. "I don't want you near me if you're just gonna give me a hard time."

"No, you idiot. Pay attention."

Nice Persona you got there, Pit; why is he not shocked that you would use one? He couldn't be any less interested in awakening his own.

Latooni had only intended to come and do some tweaking to the Wildraubtier's sensors during the 13th Hour - trying to customize and calibrate them to analyze the much smaller enemies that had been present so far - but on her way to the Nadesico she couldn't really help but notice Pit. He was...rather flashy.

She thought about trying to raise him on the COMP, but that might be a little too distracting, so instead she evokes Vasilisa, using one of the abilities she'd developed to contact Pit from a distance.

"Pit?" she asked, mentally. "Are you alright?"

Pit's used to people brain talking to him while he's fighting--certain people, like gods. Not--"Latooni?"

"Er, yes," she said. "I happened to be in the neighborhood...do you need backup?" The feeling she got from her Persona kind of suggested he needed backup, but she hadn't quite figured out how to use her senses as a radar yet.

"Not really. I'm just blowing off steam. But I don't mind if you want to keep me company!"

"Alright..."

Latooni began walking cautiously toward the sound of battle anyway, just in case. It seemed like Pit had gotten the attention of most possibly-hostile things in the area.

"Why do you need to blow off steam?"

"People back at home," he says, casually slicing a monster in the crosshairs of his blades.

"You mean like Viridi? Did more people you know show up?" she asked, finding a vantage point to look down on Pit's battlefield.

Wow, he really was good at large groups.

"This guy named Dark Pit. He looks almost exactly like me, except his hair is black and he wears a black tunic. His voice is deeper, too."

Perseus appears above him once more, launching an Aeon Rain against the monsters. It takes out quite a few of them. The rest he picks off with his bow.

Yes, he does actually use it for ranged attacks...

Why are you out fighting monsters alone, little bro? Gabriel popped a sucker into his mouth, letting his same-named Persona do the dirty work of beating on a few of the monsters behind Pit.

"What's got you feeling so reckless?"

Not that he was, you know, watching out for you or anything.

Pit nearly jumps out of his own skin! Egads!

"Wuh--?!" He turns to face Gabriel, looking as surprised as one would expect. "Um, nothing!"

He shoots Pit a skeptical look.

"Oh, so you got bored and decided to tussle with some creatures. Alright, Xena, if you say so."

He pulls the angel blade out of his pocket, twirling it in his fingers a bit.

"Want some help? Or would you prefer the term company?"

"...I'd prefer company."

[ontheirside]

"Company it is." He took the blade in his hand the way it was supposed to be held and stabbed a monster with it. Fighting wasn't really his thing these days, but it was easy enough to fall back into old habits. Really old habits.

"You want to talk about what's bothering you?" Because he's an Older Brother and a bit of an info-modder, consequently, a pain in the ass.

"People from home," he says, picking off a monster from a distance.

At last he uses the bow the way it was meant to be used!

"Ahhh." He takes out a few...on occasion.

Why mess with Pit's fun?

"People you don't get along with?"
