The Search for the Newcomers, December 2012 Edition.

Who: Open to Everyone, but only Newly Accepted Characters can start threads.
Where: All around the city! They appear where you want them to appear.
Summary: Newcomers arrive and by now the Government is more ready and sends everyone out to go people hunting.
Warnings: ARRIVALS. Also assume the first thread is the ones who tell you about the city, and the other tags for the character can be talking with others in the city and learning more about it.

[FOR THOSE IN THE CITY:]
They were getting much better at this, it was for certain.

Last month's initial testing of the HORUS system had worked really well. The device which allowed everyone to spot abnormalities; and now even more refined, they could hone in on newcomers at a much faster pace. The leftover energy from the travel (commonly called Magatama Residue) gave them a few minutes to find them before it would flicker out.

Combined with the fact they could appear in most parts of the city, it made finding the newcomers was both easy yet frustratingly difficult.

As the blips appear on your own radar function, it was also nice enough to calculate for you the best transport and destination routes to take to get there. Speed was of the essence, after all.

[FOR THOSE WHO JUST ARRIVED:]
You're not in your homeworld anymore. That much is evident. So how do you feel? Happy? Sad? Troubled? A little of all three? No matter what, the memories of a butterfly man named Philemon are fading like a dream; you'll remember the details, but perhaps not everything he has said.

There is one word that stays with you, however.

Persona.

So...here to save the city, huh? First you'll need to find out more information. And who knows, maybe a familiar face or two...

[OOC: As stated above, only new characters can start a thread, but feel free to jump in any of them. characters arrive with their clothing and whatever items they had on them the moment they were taken; the remaining items will be later found in their apartments.]

"A Final Boss, eh? Well you certainly look the part..." What with all the eyes and tentacles and whatnot. "Why is you sister human, though?"

"Desco was made by humans!"

She rears up on her tail-tentacle, her arms stretched out.

"Desco is the Final Boss that will conquer the world for Big Sis!"

[demifemme]

"I see!" Shura would be singing another tun if she knew how powerful Desco was. "However, this world here is not the world you came from..."

[tyrantball]

Desco crosses her arms over her chest and pouts.

"Desco knows that! It doesn't change what Daddy made Desco for!"

[demifemme]

"Oh, you already know where you are?" Shura would not introduce her if it was the case then.

[tyrantball]

Desco shakes her head no.

"All Desco knows is that this is not Hades, or Earth, or Evil Academy."

She looks very confident.

"Big Sis and Desco are teachers at Evil Academy!"

[demifemme]

"A teacher? That's interesting! Right now you are in Hinoto-Ri. It's possible that your big sister wasn't brought over like you, sadly."

[tyrantball]

Desco looks determined.

"Desco will do her best until Big Sis gets here!"

One of the tentacles on her back splits open, revealing a long maw lined with pointy, serrated teeth. It clacks shut decisively as Desco clenches her fists together and makes a vow.

"When Big Sis arrives, Desco will have already conquered this city! And then Desco will give Big Sis all the beautiful men and chocolates and Big Sis will be so proud of Desco!"

Fuck. This is the complete opposite of what Shura wanted.

[tyrantball]

Big shiny puppy dog eyes at you. There's at least ten easily visible on just the girl body.

"Would you like to become Desco's minion? You can have third pick of the beautiful men!"

Because Desco gets second pick, obviously.

[demifemme]

Holy shit abort abort.

"I'm flattered, Desco, but I already have my own minions to take care of... they'd be sad if I disappeared to serve someone else! Beside, I, well, I like girls."

[tyrantball]

Desco nods.

"Desco understands! In that case, Desco will offer an alliance once she has enough minions!"

Final Boss Politics, yes.

"Also, Desco would offer you first pick of the beautiful women, but Desco wants to keep her options open."

[demifemme]

Final Boss politics are better than annihilation on the spot. How is she supposed to take on a Final Boss without a high-level healer nearby?

"I'll keep that in mind. Second choice of beautiful women would be okay."

[tyrantball]

Desco smiles happily. Now, what was that phrase you use when negotiations go well...? Ah, right.

"It was a pleasure doing business with you!"
