What: Aftermath of Anoli Attack: Hospital
Where: Leo Ward - Caduceus Hospital Headquarters
Summary: It is the aftermath of the Anoli attack on the Closing Ceremonies. The injured have been taken to Caduceus Hospital Headquarters, and it is time for reflection, visting, or old-fashioned escapes from the hospital rooms.
Warnings: Mild squick if people want to describe their wounds in explicit detail.

Caduceus Hospital Headquarters. It has a distinguished history within Hinoto-Ri, boasting of a staff of well-trained Healers, as well as possessing the most cutting edge medical technology possible. There was no limb they couldn't reattach, no organ they couldn't replace... - they even claimed to be able to bring someone back from the dead (with the small disclaimer that it could only occur under certain conditions and with an obscene amount of luck).

So needless to say, the hospital was more than well-equipped to deal with the aftermath of the Anoli attack on the Closing Ceremonies.

Nearly every hospital bed had been filled by an injured patient that night. The A&E room had been in constant chaos, with civilians crying and shouting, searching for loved ones, or demanding to see doctors or healers to help so-and-so...

There had also been plenty of reporters milling about, shouting and crying over the status of the Mayor's Secretary, and whether the Red Lion had really died at the scene, or if he was still alive and well within the safety of the hospital's ICU.

By the time morning broke, there was a false sense of tranquillity within the hospital. The healers had been pushed to their limits with the sheer number of patients being wheeled in and out of surgery, but otherwise, the situation had finally gotten under control. Now, both civilians and visitors were merely waiting for word of the conditions of their injured friends and family...

[Welcome to the winding down of the event! You are now at the hospital, where you may be visiting the injured, or be one of the injured yourself! Those with RED injuries will be in the ICU, and those with YELLOW injures will be in normal wards, for obvious reasons. Those with GREEN injuries wouldn't have had to go to the hospital at all, so they are free to come and go as they wish!

"Hey! Long time no see."

Hope Atsuro wasn't too intent on frowning at his COMP all day. Daichi had done his best helping to evacuate everyone during the Anoli's attack, and here he was running around the hospital now, helping the medic teams, and even a few of the nurses, though he hadn't actually been allowed to help much in the ICU without volunteering properly or having proper training.

So with basically reaching the end of what his assistance could provide (for now), he was visiting those that had gotten bedridden, a few bandages and scratches here an there, but nothing major.

"Not doing too bad, I hope."

Atsuro's favorite activities largely consist of frowning at screens while frantically pressing buttons, but he supposes he can spare some time for Daichi. He glances up from the game system with a smile and lays it on the bed beside him.

"Hey, Daichi! ...Nah, it's nothing to worry about. Just a few burns."

A brief pause.

"...It feels like a lot of us got burns last night, actually. Maybe that guy wasn't the only pyromaniac out there."

It's much better to do that when you're trying to fight an unwinnable boss than when your demons were dead though!

"Really? There was a bunch of explosions going on, and a bunch of people got caught under them, so I guess that must've been it. " Or at least, that's what Daichi had assumed most of the burns people got had come from.

"What kind of guy were you fighting? Some kind of arsonist?"

"You could say that." A slight pause. "I guess the building he was setting on fire was the whole stadium. He had a fire-based Persona... 'Ramiel'." He had considered the possibility that the guy was pronouncing Remiel oddly, but then, the Remiel he knew had never looked anything like that.

"...He didn't really have it all together."

"Eugh." Yeah, fighting arsonists wasn't really that high on things that he wanted to do. It was easier to fight scavengers, as weird as it was for him to be having those kinds of thoughts.

"I wouldn't be really surprised if some of those guys were crazy, to be honest. They're pretty extreme, aren't they? And I guess you kinda have to be to have some kind of angel as your Persona...?"

Ramiel was an angel, right

"...Some sort of corrupted angel, yeah." Atsuro shakes his head slightly. "We could deal with Ramiel, though... It was the other Persona that was a problem, honestly."

Atsuro gives a shrug and a light-hearted laugh.

"I'm pretty sure all of them were totally out of their heads. You'd have to be to do something like what happened that night..."

'Corrupted angel'? Daichi might not have had to deal with angels in the government, but that thought just sounded... well it was definitely not something he wanted to deal with.

"Other Persona? Did he have more than one?" It wasn't out of nowhere to think that these guys could summon multiple personas too, but.

He let out a bit of a sigh, in contrast with Atsuro's laugh. "No kidding. Do you think they always pull stunts like that...?"

"Hey..."

He considers the implications of Daichi's question for a few moments.

"Hey, that's right! We get our second Personas from the guys in the Velvet Room...!"

Igor were you handing out Personas to psychotic murderers?! Atsuro's expression is some combination of incredulity and anger as he sits up a little more straight in bed.

"Geez. What's up with that? ...And yeah, this is the kind of thing they do, isn't it?"

Daichi just watches curiously for a moment, not quite connecting the dots until Atsuro does it for him. Of course, when he does make the connection...

"Wha-- You don't think they're helping them too, do you?! I thought that place was supposed to be on our side!"

Hm... "But...if they've been going to the Velvet Room too, do you think the people there know something about them?"

"I needed to ask them something already, anyway. This seems like something else worth bringing up..."

Atsuro gives a small shake of his head.

"I can't see them helping the Anoli out like that. ...I mean, I guess they never explicitly said they were on our side or anything, but..."

Unfortunately, Daichi had never actually set foot in the Velvet Room himself. Whoops.

"Maybe they have to do some weird impartial thing? I dunno..." Aaargh. His head hurt with all these politics stuff, and let's not even touch on the Anoli.

"Maybe it's someone else? At least, maybe they might know who else could do it..."
