What: Aftermath of Anoli Attack: Hospital
Where: Leo Ward - Caduceus Hospital Headquarters
Summary: It is the aftermath of the Anoli attack on the Closing Ceremonies. The injured have been taken to Caduceus Hospital Headquarters, and it is time for reflection, visting, or old-fashioned escapes from the hospital rooms.
Warnings: Mild squick if people want to describe their wounds in explicit detail.

Caduceus Hospital Headquarters. It has a distinguished history within Hinoto-Ri, boasting of a staff of well-trained Healers, as well as possessing the most cutting edge medical technology possible. There was no limb they couldn't reattach, no organ they couldn't replace... - they even claimed to be able to bring someone back from the dead (with the small disclaimer that it could only occur under certain conditions and with an obscene amount of luck).

So needless to say, the hospital was more than well-equipped to deal with the aftermath of the Anoli attack on the Closing Ceremonies.

Nearly every hospital bed had been filled by an injured patient that night. The A&E room had been in constant chaos, with civilians crying and shouting, searching for loved ones, or demanding to see doctors or healers to help so-and-so...

There had also been plenty of reporters milling about, shouting and crying over the status of the Mayor's Secretary, and whether the Red Lion had really died at the scene, or if he was still alive and well within the safety of the hospital's ICU.

By the time morning broke, there was a false sense of tranquillity within the hospital. The healers had been pushed to their limits with the sheer number of patients being wheeled in and out of surgery, but otherwise, the situation had finally gotten under control. Now, both civilians and visitors were merely waiting for word of the conditions of their injured friends and family...

[Welcome to the winding down of the event! You are now at the hospital, where you may be visiting the injured, or be one of the injured yourself! Those with RED injuries will be in the ICU, and those with YELLOW injures will be in normal wards, for obvious reasons. Those with GREEN injuries wouldn't have had to go to the hospital at all, so they are free to come and go as they wish!

"Don't clench like that." One of the doctors was making the rounds to poke his head in doorways, and tsk'd fatherly at Link's clutching. The man softly stepped in, trying to give the blonde a smile.

"You don't want to strain anything, in your condition."

Vroom vroooooom~

Link looked over at the doctor, and nodded a little. "Sorry."

He tried to relax, but it was hard. He couldn't sleep, and there wasn't really anything to do. The network was down so it wasn't like he could call anyone...

The doctor sighed, walking in properly and plopping down in the bedside table.

"You don't need to apologize. It's your health, not mine." He gave a lopsided smile, like he was trying to half-joke, but he was too tired to put the full amount of effort in. "Do you have anyone you're looking for word on? I can try and check on someone for you, if you'd like."

"I've never been in a place like this before..." He tried to sit up a little, but gave up after a few moments. "Princess Zelda. And I don't know if the other Link ended up in the hospital or not."

He hadn't seen big bro, but that didn't mean he wasn't heroing around anyway.

The doctor laughed, shaking his head. "Don't worry. You're not the first I've had who's new to hospitals- if you have any questions, I'll answer them the best I can."

However, the doctor seemed to pause at the two names. "I haven't come across either of them myself, but my senior might have handled them. I'll double check for you, okay?"

"Yeah... usually if I got hurt at home I'd just ask a fairy to heal me or use a potion." This place smelled funny, and it was too bright.

"... Okay. Thank you."

The man gave another laugh, this one self-depreciating. "I wish we had potions or fairies to help...I'd be out of a job, of course, but details, right?"

He shifted to look at the TV in the corner of the room, motioning to it. "The Guest network may be down, but there's bound to be something on. This time of year, there's usually a marathon of fantasy movies on channel six."

"... Movies?"

Link's seen a few things off and on at the daycare, but he hadn't really understood it. Tentatively, Link reaches out to the remote and pushes a few until animated animals appear on the screen.

"... Huh." Congratulations, doctor. You have successfully distracted a ten year old.

The doctor seemed pleased that Link was less sad-seeming, but he'd probably kick himself for being an enabler later. Surely this wouldn't have any far-reaching consequences on the boy's habits?

Dr. Abi just, let himself out of the room. Link seemed distracted enough, and he didn't want to be any worse of an influence.
