What: Aftermath of Anoli Attack: Hospital
Where: Leo Ward - Caduceus Hospital Headquarters
Summary: It is the aftermath of the Anoli attack on the Closing Ceremonies. The injured have been taken to Caduceus Hospital Headquarters, and it is time for reflection, visting, or old-fashioned escapes from the hospital rooms.
Warnings: Mild squick if people want to describe their wounds in explicit detail.

Caduceus Hospital Headquarters. It has a distinguished history within Hinoto-Ri, boasting of a staff of well-trained Healers, as well as possessing the most cutting edge medical technology possible. There was no limb they couldn't reattach, no organ they couldn't replace... - they even claimed to be able to bring someone back from the dead (with the small disclaimer that it could only occur under certain conditions and with an obscene amount of luck).

So needless to say, the hospital was more than well-equipped to deal with the aftermath of the Anoli attack on the Closing Ceremonies.

Nearly every hospital bed had been filled by an injured patient that night. The A&E room had been in constant chaos, with civilians crying and shouting, searching for loved ones, or demanding to see doctors or healers to help so-and-so...

There had also been plenty of reporters milling about, shouting and crying over the status of the Mayor's Secretary, and whether the Red Lion had really died at the scene, or if he was still alive and well within the safety of the hospital's ICU.

By the time morning broke, there was a false sense of tranquillity within the hospital. The healers had been pushed to their limits with the sheer number of patients being wheeled in and out of surgery, but otherwise, the situation had finally gotten under control. Now, both civilians and visitors were merely waiting for word of the conditions of their injured friends and family...

[Welcome to the winding down of the event! You are now at the hospital, where you may be visiting the injured, or be one of the injured yourself! Those with RED injuries will be in the ICU, and those with YELLOW injures will be in normal wards, for obvious reasons. Those with GREEN injuries wouldn't have had to go to the hospital at all, so they are free to come and go as they wish!

"Hey, Yosuke--!"

Daichi half swung himself in from the door frame; compared to many other people, he had gotten off very easily. Just some superficial scrapes and bruises. He had a few bandages and had abandoned the jacket of his school uniform at some point, and when the medic teams started winding down, he had basically become a glorified gopher. And thus, here he was, standing in the doorway holding a folded piece of paper between his thumb and forefinger.

"I found you a present outside~!"

And what a gopher he was. Yosuke looks up from the manga he was reading that someone was courteous enough to leave him (since he was quite bored just sitting here doing nothing all day long) and gives Daichi a smile as he comes in.

"Man, looks like you got off easy. You must be stupidly lucky." Or not dumb enough to charge headfirst into attacking the more powerful members of the Anoli.

"What'd you find now... if it's pornographic I don't want it!" Seriously as much as he likes porn he doesn't want any porn left for him by fangirls...

"I managed to survive the ultimate car accident and getting kidnapped, so I'd hope I have a little bit of luck at this point," He says with a chuckle.

Still smirking, he opened up the piece of paper with both hands, and sure enough it was just another get well card smothered in hearts and kisses from the rabid fangirls outside. "See? No porn, just a pick-me-up!"

Thankfully he only allows himself a few chuckles until he drops the paper on the corner of the bed before Yosuke threatens him with bodily harm again.

"But, just in case you didn't want anymore well-wishes..." He reached into the pock of his pants, pulling out his old game system COMP and a few of the small game cartridges, holding them out to Yosuke with a less mischievous grin. "I figured you might need some more distractions around here."

"Geeze, your luck stat's better than mine is." Leaning on the fourth wall there much, Yosuke?

Yosuke squints at the get well card and sighs, just letting him keep it on the corner of the bed. Gross. "I'm swimming in those things by now, ugh."

He looks kind of surprised when Daichi goes to pull something out of his pocket, curiosity suddenly skyrocketing. When he pulls out a game system it is like a gift from the heavens descending upon him.

"Oh man, seriously??" He can't move his right wrist very much due to the full cast on his arm but damn if he wasn't going to try his best!! "Wow, dude, thank you!! What kind of games have you got??" He himself was kind of one for old school RPGs and stuff. One-player stuff, mostly, considering until Teddie came along he didn't have any siblings or close friends to play with.

They're SMT side-kicks, it's what they do.

It was only when Yosuke was feebly trying to grab at the system with his broken arm that Daichi quickly moved closer and put it within better range of his reach.

"All sorts of stuff! A few Legend of Esmerelda games, Dragon Crusade, and I think some of the old Final Fantasia games too. Plus a few others." He tucks his hands into the pockets of his pants with a satisfied grin.

"I haven't played it in a while, and I've got my newer game stations back at my apartment anyway, so I figured you could use the entertainment."

Who're you calling a sidekick

Yosuke takes it and looks it over. "Wow, that's awesome! Thanks, man. There's no way I can keep it though." He struggles a little with his broken arm as he turns it on, looking over it happily.

"You have no idea how boring it is in here, this is going to save me a ton of grief. I wish I could just get out of this bed already."

Yosuke sets it aside again and looks up at Daichi.

"How're things going on the outside? I didn't hear too much about the repercussions of the whole thing."

Don't even try, man

"Think of it as a loan, then. Keep it as long as you're stuck here, but if you lose any of my games, I'll feed you to the rabid crowd outside," He says, with a mischievous smirk and a light-hearted shrug.

"Nothing you wouldn't think, really. The businesses are still running like clockwork, but I think most of the city is trying to recover after the Tournament fiasco. The police are all over the place, that's for sure. Still, it seems like all of those Anoli guys just kind of...vanished."

"Hey, how the hell can I lose them when I'm confined?? They can't leave this bed!" This would be the moment Yosuke gives Daichi a playful punch....... but yeah. Broken arm, mangled body, not gonna happen.

"It's kind of creepy... even scary that the Anoli just... showed up out of thin air like that. And then disappeared the same day without a trace? Did any of them get caught during the tournament, do you know?" The police must've been out questioning witnesses all this time. The report that had to be filed on such a huge fiasco had to be huge...

"I dunno, you might need to use it for make-shift ammo in case suspicious figures start showing up in the hallway."

Joking as much as he liked, the next thought brought him back down, a thoughtful look on his face. "Hm... not, that I know of. At least, I don't think anyone's talked about any of them getting arrested-- you'd think if they'd nabbed any of the big guys, they'd make a big deal about it."

"I still have my Persona!" Although he was sure the nurses would throw a huge fit if he tried to summon Susano-o while still recovering in bed... He'd probably greatly disturb his roommate in the process, too. "Trust me, I'll take good care of them, okay? Promise. I really appreciate it."

He pauses in thought, pushing some hair out of his face and sighing... "Some of them had to have been killed, right? I don't know how many people died but some of them had to be enemies fighting. I can't imagine anyone who got caught and arrested are going to have an easy time either. Ugh, I'm pretty sure the two people who attacked me and Naoto got away, though... They were tough. Scary tough."

He chuckled at the Persona comment, but decided to relent instead of hitting back with more snark. "Don't worry, I trust you. It's the least I could do, y'know?"

"I'm pretty sure people on both sides died. I don't think there was a chance of either side getting out unscathed." He let out a small sigh of regret, but there was certainly nothing that could be done now.

"Who were you guys fighting anyway? When I asked the nurses before, they said you were in pretty shitty shape."
