What: Aftermath of Anoli Attack: Hospital
Where: Leo Ward - Caduceus Hospital Headquarters
Summary: It is the aftermath of the Anoli attack on the Closing Ceremonies. The injured have been taken to Caduceus Hospital Headquarters, and it is time for reflection, visting, or old-fashioned escapes from the hospital rooms.
Warnings: Mild squick if people want to describe their wounds in explicit detail.

Caduceus Hospital Headquarters. It has a distinguished history within Hinoto-Ri, boasting of a staff of well-trained Healers, as well as possessing the most cutting edge medical technology possible. There was no limb they couldn't reattach, no organ they couldn't replace... - they even claimed to be able to bring someone back from the dead (with the small disclaimer that it could only occur under certain conditions and with an obscene amount of luck).

So needless to say, the hospital was more than well-equipped to deal with the aftermath of the Anoli attack on the Closing Ceremonies.

Nearly every hospital bed had been filled by an injured patient that night. The A&E room had been in constant chaos, with civilians crying and shouting, searching for loved ones, or demanding to see doctors or healers to help so-and-so...

There had also been plenty of reporters milling about, shouting and crying over the status of the Mayor's Secretary, and whether the Red Lion had really died at the scene, or if he was still alive and well within the safety of the hospital's ICU.

By the time morning broke, there was a false sense of tranquillity within the hospital. The healers had been pushed to their limits with the sheer number of patients being wheeled in and out of surgery, but otherwise, the situation had finally gotten under control. Now, both civilians and visitors were merely waiting for word of the conditions of their injured friends and family...

[Welcome to the winding down of the event! You are now at the hospital, where you may be visiting the injured, or be one of the injured yourself! Those with RED injuries will be in the ICU, and those with YELLOW injures will be in normal wards, for obvious reasons. Those with GREEN injuries wouldn't have had to go to the hospital at all, so they are free to come and go as they wish!

[It also means she can find you herself, but that's just a perk. She's never really met another particularly higher-functioning AI like herself, so it's all very interesting. She's quiet for a moment, until something seems to come to mind.]

[It looks like a cattail to him, but he can smell it. In fact he is pretty sure even if he didn't have a sense of smell he could smell it.

Heh. You'll smell nice, now. Elk is also looking for it. It's called Aromatic Grass, and he used to help me collect it while we were in The World. This place is rather useless, in that sense. It never grows here.

[She chuckles. She doesn't care really at all about the cathedral other than as a temporary escape.]

I'm done with the cathedral for now. Are you coming with me?

[Probably should, since there's only one boat...]

[Sorry he was a bit out of it at being told he smells nice now, but he'll totally join Mia in leaving.

It's a bit too bad that one place from your world shows up and it doesn't have something you enjoy in it.

Depending on who comes here next, I'm sure there will be more interesting places from The World to appear. Until then, I'll explore all of the strange places and mysterious rumors.

[And before they get in the boat, Mia holds her hand out! Looks like she'll offer him a hand so that he doesn't fall, because the water here is a loooot deeper.]

[Oh thank god, Blues isn't all too sure what falling in deeper water would do to him right now. So he'll take the offered hand and get in the boat, carefully and not putting too much weight on Mia.]

Sounds like you're keeping busy at least.

I always find something to do.

[Then she'll be the gentleman and help him into the boat. She hops in, too, and starts rowing back.]

What will you do now? Go back and rest?

... Probably, but not in the hospital.

[Oooh Mister Mia oooh... Blues feels like he should help with the rowing but, he's never steered a boat or rowed one alas.]

Certainly people could find me there if I did.

[You know, he gave that answer a bit too quickly. But really he just doesn't want to be around too many people while he's like this.]

[Then she'll talk about you not talking about it! She's obnoxious like that.]

It's not that interesting to me. Though I don't know if that will make you mad or happy.

[He sighs, he's not mad. Tired and irritated? Yes, bit not really mad.]

No, I'm not mad. And like I said it's not anything important so even if you find it interesting or not doesn't matter.

That's what most say about Aromatic Grass. That it's unimportant, or rather, worthless.

I disagree. Its unimportance and its worthlessness is important. But that is why I decide for myself what is interesting and what is boring.

I don't see why they'd think that about the grass, it smells nice.

[He feels like that should totally make something important.]

And you may disagree, but it's not something I want to talk about.

They couldn't smell it, it has no purpose, and it has no worth. Even I can only collect it. But I can't resist it. It's so... nostalgic, I suppose I would say. At least, as much as I can experience something like that.

[As much as she's only bits and pieces, missing huge chunks of memories and experiences...

...After a pause, she keeps up rowing with the oar. It's a slow process, but she's at least clever enough to have figured it out for this escapade.]

Take care of it. It's important to me.

[She can't remember why, she's always wondered why, but that never changed anything. It was always important.]

I won't lose it, don't worry.

[Considering he hasn't been given many things in his life? He does mean it when he says that.

And for now he's going to be quiet or at least not talk for the rest of the ride, but if Mia listens she might hear that he has started to whistle.]

[Mia's ears twitch at the start of the whistling, and she quietly listens. They're getting closer to shore again by the time she speaks up.]

How interesting. It still doesn't quite sound like the usual background music. But it is nice.

[Now that she thinks about it, humans sometimes sing into their microphones or make sharp whistling sounds. They could probably do that all along, so of course an AI built by them could.]

[Oh her talking gets him to stop, so mid-note too, and Blues look a bit awkward or... Maybe blushing?

Who knew robots could blush.]

Well yeah, whistling doesn't get much more elaborate then that, Miss Mia.

Whistling... hmm. Hmm hmm.

[She nods, and chuckles. Apparently she didn't know what it was, but she seems pleased to have learned it.]

... Yeah.

[Well, now he's just gonna be quiet. And Awkward. But mostly quiet, even after they hit shore.]

[Mia offers to help him out of the boat and onto dry land, once more, but she doesn't have anything to say until she starts to leave.]
