What: Aftermath of Anoli Attack: Hospital
Where: Leo Ward - Caduceus Hospital Headquarters
Summary: It is the aftermath of the Anoli attack on the Closing Ceremonies. The injured have been taken to Caduceus Hospital Headquarters, and it is time for reflection, visting, or old-fashioned escapes from the hospital rooms.
Warnings: Mild squick if people want to describe their wounds in explicit detail.

Caduceus Hospital Headquarters. It has a distinguished history within Hinoto-Ri, boasting of a staff of well-trained Healers, as well as possessing the most cutting edge medical technology possible. There was no limb they couldn't reattach, no organ they couldn't replace... - they even claimed to be able to bring someone back from the dead (with the small disclaimer that it could only occur under certain conditions and with an obscene amount of luck).

So needless to say, the hospital was more than well-equipped to deal with the aftermath of the Anoli attack on the Closing Ceremonies.

Nearly every hospital bed had been filled by an injured patient that night. The A&E room had been in constant chaos, with civilians crying and shouting, searching for loved ones, or demanding to see doctors or healers to help so-and-so...

There had also been plenty of reporters milling about, shouting and crying over the status of the Mayor's Secretary, and whether the Red Lion had really died at the scene, or if he was still alive and well within the safety of the hospital's ICU.

By the time morning broke, there was a false sense of tranquillity within the hospital. The healers had been pushed to their limits with the sheer number of patients being wheeled in and out of surgery, but otherwise, the situation had finally gotten under control. Now, both civilians and visitors were merely waiting for word of the conditions of their injured friends and family...

[Welcome to the winding down of the event! You are now at the hospital, where you may be visiting the injured, or be one of the injured yourself! Those with RED injuries will be in the ICU, and those with YELLOW injures will be in normal wards, for obvious reasons. Those with GREEN injuries wouldn't have had to go to the hospital at all, so they are free to come and go as they wish!

[Like that would have stopped her from noticing, if he could have silently walked in. Still, she stares for a moment as if saying, "Riku, what are you doing. Why are you walking around to see us with that injury."

But it's Riku; she can likely guess it's probably the same reason Terra would give. So she sighs. Really, Riku. ~~It's a flesh wound.~~]

Like casting Transcendence on the Anoli and the mayor to see which one has sense knocked into them first.

[Yeah, she mad. Very mad and disappoint.]

I'm fine. They just won't let me move much yet because they're afraid of other injuries that don't exist. [It looks worse than it actually is.] ...Not like it's stopped me before, though.

[This is the woman who got smacked into the ground by countless Keyblades (hard), jabbed, shot at, and yet still managed to stand up and help Ven break the X-blade. It could have been worse.]

[...Okay so it probably wouldn't have. BUt it's still the polite thing to do in a hospital, so. Also, have a "Don't you say anything, I'm not changing my mind on this :|"-lineface before he pulls himself closer to his bed and eases into the chair near it.

(He is just sitting down because it's convenient. Not because he's tired or anything.)]

Hm. That's a nice thought.

[Mostly because common sense for everyone would likely mean less problems for the rest of them on the long run.]

That's good to hear.

[Does he look relieved? Well... probably very much so. He's seen how some others had ended up on his way here and well... over it certainly could have been worse. For himself, for Aqua... for all of them.]

[Fair enough, though she seems a little relieved that he's, you know, sitting down since that doesn't look like a walking cast. Maybe that's why she smiles ever-so-slightly at him, almost like responding with "Like I could, since I'd be doing the same."]

Could probably think of better if I had the time.

[Which she did, but like she would mention it when all she wanted to do was finish what she'd been working on in her apartment. Sob.]

What about you...?

[She heard about Namine and Xion, all thanks to the hospital staff. Still, it doesn't stop her from worrying further since a few more have yet to check in.]

[He may or may not look just a tiny bit relieved himself - he's been walking around for hours okay, and he isn't used to the crutches - and there is a small grin flicker over his face.

"Thought so."]

I think, you'll have enough of that to come up with something in the next week or so.

[Given that she doesn't look like she's going to be released all too soon. He sighs at her question.]

Broken shin, so I'll be stuck with the cast for a while. Otherwise I'm fine.

[Just bruises and scratches and nothing that won't be healed in a day or two.]

[...He may find himself bound to the chair for a bit if he tries to get up, too. Dude you look exhausted. Take a break.

"Just don't tell the others."

Though, she does make a face at the "week or so" bit.]

Give me some credit, Riku. [She is a mage, and if they think that a few burns will stop her, then they have another thing coming.] Three days.

[And she will be out of the ICU or so help her Light--]

Though I'm glad. It seems a few.... weren't as lucky as the rest of us.

[He's intending to, he's intending to - no need to bring out the bind spells, really. >.>

"I won't, if you won't."

He grins and shrugs in response.]

Still enough time to need killing.

[Especially given how insistent the staff is being on the whole bed rest thing. It's taken him forever to find an opportunity to slip away.

The grin fades a moment later though.]

So I've gathered too.

[And the next time they might not be 'lucky' either. They'll really have to step up their game.]

[Good boy. You may be a Master now, but she will forever be Mom. 8|

"My lips are sealed."

She chuckles a little, ignoring the faint wince. Ow.]

Just barely.

[And just like that, she is back to srs Master mode. After all, they still need to prepare themselves for what may lie ahead. That includes stepping up their game after recovery. Eudora appears faintly beside her. Yeah, she may regret this later, but she had been using her Persona to check on the others ever since she came around and the doctors left her be for a short while.]

...The Castle appearing may well work into our favor, despite what it becomes in the 13th Hour. Other than providing us somewhere to train without being seen by the ones who may fear or maybe even hate us after this... we do have a pool in the training hall. So if you need that to help get used to walking without crutches...

[CommLink is a godsend sometimes, especially when they don't want others to hear.]

[Despite what he would say about that, if they were talking outside brackets, he wouldn't really want it any other way. :3

He just nods, while leaning back into his chair. Just that moment, his dream eaters decided to materialize, Veles dropping right into his lap and Zorya lying down at the other side of Aqua's back, a faint growl rumbling as she glares into direction of the door. Riku doesn't really seem all too fazed or surprised by either appearance and just starts scratching the Majik Lapin behind his ears.]

I'll keep it in mind.

[That reminds him though.]

Are the city officials still looking into the castle?

[It's been a while since it had appeared, after all?]

[Yes, good.

...Zorya, you are the best tiger mom okay and this earns a faint pat on the head. Easy, girl... the nurses out there aren't going to attack.]

They said they'd be done by next week. Though it's in vain... No one can see it all without me.

[Oh the perks of transforming it...]

[Zorya purrs lowly, pleased by the pat, but keeps staring at the door. Who knows, maybe there are assassin-nurses hidden somewhere. B|

Meanwhile, Riku just grins again.]

I hope they have fun getting lost at night.

[...This is very true and a good cause for concern ~~considering what happened with an acquaintance of hers~~. We are going to get along juuuust well, Zorya. :) ]

Oh, believe me... I stayed in there the night it first appeared to see what would happen.

[She laughs quietly and very audibly.] I'm more concerned with how they got off the roof.

[Yes, good! Mom-sis-hi5?

Riku blinks at that and then really begins to laugh.]

Well, it's a long climb down.

[Mom-sis-hi5, aw yeah.]

I hope they brought a long enough rope, then... or can teleport.

[Because teleportation magic is awesome and haters can stand on the side of the room Zorya is facing.]

I'm sure they'll find a way to get down by themselves. Until we get out of here anyways.

[That should buy those city officials a few days at least.

And yeah, definitely seconding the awesomeness of teleportation.]

I hope they have fun trying.

[Man, what she'd pay to teleport to the front lawn just to watch tonight...
