What: Aftermath of Anoli Attack: Hospital
Where: Leo Ward - Caduceus Hospital Headquarters
Summary: It is the aftermath of the Anoli attack on the Closing Ceremonies. The injured have been taken to Caduceus Hospital Headquarters, and it is time for reflection, visting, or old-fashioned escapes from the hospital rooms.
Warnings: Mild squick if people want to describe their wounds in explicit detail.

Caduceus Hospital Headquarters. It has a distinguished history within Hinoto-Ri, boasting of a staff of well-trained Healers, as well as possessing the most cutting edge medical technology possible. There was no limb they couldn't reattach, no organ they couldn't replace... - they even claimed to be able to bring someone back from the dead (with the small disclaimer that it could only occur under certain conditions and with an obscene amount of luck).

So needless to say, the hospital was more than well-equipped to deal with the aftermath of the Anoli attack on the Closing Ceremonies.

Nearly every hospital bed had been filled by an injured patient that night. The A&E room had been in constant chaos, with civilians crying and shouting, searching for loved ones, or demanding to see doctors or healers to help so-and-so...

There had also been plenty of reporters milling about, shouting and crying over the status of the Mayor's Secretary, and whether the Red Lion had really died at the scene, or if he was still alive and well within the safety of the hospital's ICU.

By the time morning broke, there was a false sense of tranquillity within the hospital. The healers had been pushed to their limits with the sheer number of patients being wheeled in and out of surgery, but otherwise, the situation had finally gotten under control. Now, both civilians and visitors were merely waiting for word of the conditions of their injured friends and family...

[Welcome to the winding down of the event! You are now at the hospital, where you may be visiting the injured, or be one of the injured yourself! Those with RED injuries will be in the ICU, and those with YELLOW injures will be in normal wards, for obvious reasons. Those with GREEN injuries wouldn't have had to go to the hospital at all, so they are free to come and go as they wish!

"No, it's cool, I've been sleeping all day long, it's not like I'm missing out on it or anything." He's pretty sure he'll be here for a while anyway, he's got days to sleep off these injuries.

"It's cool to meet you Avitus." Yosuke holds up the feather in his hand curiously. "What's this for?" There's a small smile on his face. He's wondering why he got a present from someone he doesn't know.

He bobs down slightly with his nod, giving the human a bit of a bow like so, and holds his hands together in front of himself, absently rubbing a nail's top. "It's for luck, hopefully. The humans where I'm from regard my clan's feathers as such... so I thought it couldn't hurt to try spreading a bit of that here as well."

"Huh, luck?" Yosuke looks over the feather with a smile. "I could always use some more of that, my luck is kind of terrible." As is probably evidenced by the fact that he's stuck in the hospital.

"In case you didn't catch it, I'm Hanamura Yosuke." The teen sets the feather back down on the bed. He doesn't have a lot of mobility to move it anywhere else.

"It's nice to meet you... though I wish circumstances were better. Silver linings and all that, though, I suppose?"

He gave the other a little more of a smile. "I don't suppose there's anything I might do for you, since I'm here?"

"Hah, yeah, I guess so... This place is pretty dangerous, it seems like, so something like this was bound to happen eventually." Yosuke didn't expect to end up in the hospital... but in retrospect it didn't come as much of a surprise to him that it did happen. And thinking about it now, it probably wouldn't be the last time either.

"Ehh... not really... I mean some info on what's going on on the outside would be nice... I'm stuck here so I can't really see for myself."

"Outside?" Avitus glanced back at the door to the hospital room. "Last I saw, there were a good number of young ladies outside the door there, talking about teams of some sort. They seemed... ah...."

He frowned a bit, debating with himself on how to best describe them. When he couldn't figure out a better way of putting it after a couple seconds, he sighed and shook his head a bit. "....Scary."

Right, so this odd person, whatever he was, found fangirls to be intimidating. One might almost suspect that he wasn't familiar with the troublesome book in question (he wasn't) or at least wasn't familiar with the phenomenon of Crazy Fangirls. (Again, he wasn't.)

~~It would be all the more ironic, given what game series his AU is based on, but those jokes would get so meta....~~

"Haha, not right outside this room, I meant out in the city in general... I don't know how they're handling the aftermath of the whole ordeal or anything, I've been stuck in here ever since I got dragged here after the tournament." Yosuke lets out a hefty sigh.

"Were you at the tournament too? You got off pretty easy if you were, considering how crazy the whole thing was."

"Oh, ah...." He bit his lip a bit, sheepish, and looked down. "Not... quite. Er... not at all, actually. I don't even remember how I managed to get out. I think someone must have taken me away from there while I was unconscious, or maybe dead, I'm not certain. I woke up in the hospital here, and had to sleep off the rest of my injuries after feeding, and...."

He sighed, shaking his head. "I was here most of yesterday, and then came back again this morning, so I'm afraid I've little idea either. I could go check, if you'd like...?" Avitus actually looked quite disappointed in himself, that he couldn't immediately answer Yosuke's question.
