I, Lovebot
Who: Cupidman, and all of Hinoto-Ri!
Where: Literally anywhere you want. Note the location in your comment!
Summary: Valentine's Day Shenanigans of Ridiculous Caliber
Warnings: Mind-alteration, ludicrous amounts of sap
As dawn breaks on Hinoto-Ri, one might spy a strange sight throughout the city - a red and white angelic robot flying through the air, and periodically coming down once he spots an interesting group of civilians.
"Good day, citizens! My name is Cupidman, and I will be your designated deliverer of love on this fine, fine St. Valentine's Day! In such a terrible world, we all should get along better, and should do the best to ensure this is a fine place to live for your future generations! And, well - those future generations should also be ensured! So I'll just help you take that first step~!"
With that little spiel delivered, Cupidman then fires sparkling pink-and-yellow arrows into random civilians, then takes off to go find more suitable targets.
[ OOC: As mentioned in the mod post, this is a mostly silly opt-in event. Cupidman is shooting people with magic arrows that will cause their target to fall head-over-heels in love with the first person they see for a few hours. Once it wears off, they'll have a hazy memory of what went down - just enough to question if it really happened. If you like, you can start your thread as already having been shot, or leave it open to be shot - just make sure you put something in the subject line if you want interference from Cupidman. If your character is the type who would want to try and stop him from what he's doing, mention you want to challenge him in the subject, but keep in mind that he has to escape to strike again on White Day. Of course, that doesn't mean he has to escape unscathed... ]

Since he had come to the park to just relax outside, by himself, that isn't going to happen when he hears the yelling robot before seeing him. Then when Cutman ran past? That's when Blues actually paid attention.
And promptly wondered, once more, what the hell is wrong with Hinoto-Ri before he'll make a simple attempt to help the other robot.
By shooting at the flying scissors.

Cupidman can intervene later if he feels like getting his jaw punched
Not that he actually cared about Valentine's Day in the first place. That sort of thing happened when you intentionally made it a habit of swearing off everyone's advances. Plus, how would Valentine's Day and White Day even work if you were going out with another guy? He never could figure out what the protocol would be in that case and, therefore, thought the entire thing was stupid.
Maybe later he'd try to hang out with Maya but, seeing as how the Maya here doesn't remember him, that would probably be super awkward...but still, it'd be kinda nice...it didn't really help that today was Jun's birthday...
...Wh-whatever, there were more important things to concentrate on! Like finding where those bunch of people, including Eikichi, went. And so, Tatsuya started the day in a way that would help him get his mind off things: exercise, jogging around Hinoto-ri in his track suit, starting in the Pisces district and heading north.

Yosuke felt conflicted about the whole thing really. On one hand he'd never really gotten gifts on Valentine's day before from any girls, and it was kind of nice to actually get something for a change and feel... well, wanted.
On the other...... he definitely recognized that they didn't like him for him but the idea of the Junes Prince... In fact, all of the notes on these flowers didn't even say "To: Yosuke Hanamura", they said "To: The Junes Prince" or even occasionally "Yusoke"... It was frustrating, really. Not only creepy, but upsetting that people couldn't look past a stupid rumor and see him for who he really was.
So the flowers were kind of opening up old wounds and yet he had nothing to do with them except carry them very hazardously down the sidewalk, unable to really tell where he was going and stumbling almost every step of the way.
So it's no wonder that turning the corner, Yosuke didn't notice the very athletic gentleman running down the sidewalk and straight towards him--

COME AND GET IT CUPIDMAN >(
"Who does that man think he is, imitating me in that gaudy outfit?"
The young angel stopped and looked up at his side. Floating just above him was the phantom image of his persona, Cupid.
"Um...what are you talking about?" Pit asked, confused that his persona had decided to pop out and provide commentary. The confusion didn't last long; he realized that he should have long since been used to impromptu commentary.
The phantom angel pointed his heart-tipped arrow upwards. Pit lifted his head and squinted, seeing the flying robot in the air. "What the heck is that?" he asked.
"I don't know, but it offends me! The fake!"
"Why can everyone fly but me," Pit muttered.
"You ungrateful brat! I help you fly!"
"Yeah! For 30 whole minutes! Don't get me wrong, that's awesome, but couldn't it be a little more...permanent?"
"For a level 2 persona? Please, you're lucky you can fly for just 30 minutes! That's more than Palutena could do!"
"Yeah, I know..." Pit shrugged, looking down from the sky. "Anyway what's the big deal about that guy?"
"He's an impostor! Pit, we should show him who the real Cupid is!"
Pit gave his persona a suspicious look. "What are you suggesting?"
"What do you think? Let's buy us a few heart shaped arrows and use them with one of your fancy bows. We'll show them the true power of the real Cupid!"
"..." Pit stared at his persona blankly for a moment. "No!" he interjected. "Absolutely not! There's no way I'm gonna be a Valentine's Day cupid! I grew out of that stage in the 90's. That stage isn't even really canon!"
"But isn't part of your modern design based on that stage?"
"Well, yeah, but not the heart shaped arrows! I fire magic light arrows now."
"What about that darling little Angel Bow?"
"Don't have it."
"Oh! But maybe we can use the Viridi Palm. That shoots hearts, doesn't it?"
"For the last time, I am not shooting people with love. And that's final!"
Cupid sighed. "For a cupid, you're no fun."
"No, I just don't like embarrassing myself for no reason!"
"But you just do it anyway."
"Shut up, Cupid!"
Pit frowned. Even his personas made fun of him! An angel can't get no respect around here. >\

Hm? What's that...?
[She shields her eyes from the sun, staring up into the sky as the holiday mascot robot soars past. Nano didn't get that good a look, but apparently someone did. Her current Velvet Room Persona, Chirashizushi, pops out unannounced, blushing and eagerly flapping her wings.]
Cupiiiiiid! Mr. Cupiiiiid! Over here!
[Nano is completely mystified, and before she knows what's happening, there's a love arrow sailing through the air toward her. Chirashizushi squeals and disappears, apparently too embarrassed, causing the arrow to strike Nano squarely in the chest. It bounces off, but the damage has been done emotion-wise, and Nano is now thrall to its emotional magic.]
...That was very strange.

[Latooni was preparing to summoning her Persona when she saw Cupidman firing into the crowd, but his indiscriminate fire hit her before she could react. Instead, she's knocked down by the shock of getting hit, subsequently sitting up with the shock of not actually being hurt.]

[He turned around as soon as he felt something strike him, quite hard, in the back of his neck, but his hand found nothing as he rubbed the spot. What in the world...]
...Just my imagination?
[Doubtful. Ginko keeps surveying the scene, unaware that the angelic robot has already soared over his head, flying the opposite direction from where he's looking.
What he does see, however, is someone he has the sudden urge to get to know better.] . . .

[But even as she's about to unleash her healing powers, she realizes there's no blood. Ginko is still upright, and rubbing the back of his head as if struck by a mosquito. Orihime furrows her brow. She glances in the direction the odd robot flew off to, puzzled, before looking back at the pale-haired man.]

Open for general mingling, but falling in love reserved for Raidou's hat
Still, morning walks like this are nice. It's quiet and peaceful in most districts, and little by little he's getting a feel for this city. And this morning in particular, despite the unexpected surprise of chocolates on his doorstep, nothing seems to be going wrong! Just a nice - if a bit chilly - day to wander about.
That is.... until he sees something fly overhead, hears a twang and suddenly --
"Ow! What --!"
A sharp pain stabs his shoulder, and he stumbles forward before reaching over to pull a sparkling arrow out. He stares at it for a moment because seriously what the hell. However, even as he starts to look around for what shot it, he catches sight of a tall, dapper figure ahead down the sidewalk and forgets all about the arrow. It slides from his fingertips, as his breath catches in his throat and he stares at the glorious hat and cape of one Raidou Kuzonoha.
self-indulgent icon to suit the occasion
He's incredibly focused on his job, but that doesn't mean he doesn't hear the cry of pain or notice that he's being stared at. He approaches him with the intent to collect the arrow nearby as evidence and make sure the person is okay, because there's no telling what will happen.
"Excuse me. Are you well?"
It is a beautiful icon. c:

Do you take questions, Mr. Cupidman?
Huh? First step towards what now?
A bit late, but yes!
...first step towards those future generations, like I said! By encouraging people to love each other...
[An awkward pause goes here.]
...do I really gotta spell the whole thing out?
Hurray! And yes, you may have to spell it out.
Oh boy. He's going to skirt around it as long as possible.
Thankfully she gets the concept, if not the full mechanics of it.
