Summary: After the Anoli speech and the governmental censorship of Yosuke's post, Gale decides it's time he goes to see what's out there for himself.
Warnings: We are so breaking the law here.

The Anoli speech had intrigued him, and the sudden censorship of a post on the Network had cinched it for Gale. He needed to see for himself what lied beyond this city, and not accompanied by government officials or Anoli members. But how to announce his intentions without attracting attention? Even private networks and filters on the COMP network were most likely monitored by the government. Luckily, his Persona came to his aid in his time of need, in the form of the CommLink skill. He could simply call other Visitors he knew telepathically! Which is what he was doing right now as he chewed on a leftover piece of the demon he had hunted down the night before in prevision for the trip.

"Comrades, hear me out. If you can hear me and would like, like me, to know what lies beyond the city limits, please come to Pisces, eighth floor, room oh-four as soon as possible." He swallowed and closed the fridge door securely before licking his lips. Here went nothing.

There's a tap-tap-tap at your window shortly after the message was sent out - if you were to look outside, you'd see an upside-down little demon girl, her nose pressed flat against the glass pane, staring into your apartment.

Well, she can fly, so it makes a little bit of sense that she's at your window, but...why is she upside down like that?

Why would you not use the door? This is illogical. It doesn't keep Gale from walking to the window and opening it, though.

"Why are you upside-down."

Desco beams at you before slithering through the window along the ceiling.

"For fun!"

With that, she'll touch down lightly on the floor, re-absorb her tentacles, and start looking around.

Gale's apartment is spartiate, almost looking identical to an apartment that has yet to be used. The only actual notable difference is the rifle and boxes of ammunition stored in a corner of the living room/kitchen combo.

"We will depart shortly. I hope you are ready."

It seemed like someone's at the door. Maybe a fellow Persona-user who heard his call?

Gale checks through the peephole before opening the door, and, sure enough, it's another potential comrade. "Miyako," he greets her after opening the door to let her in.

"Gale." She steps inside, briefly glancing around before turning her attention back at him. "I heard your message."

Since she's here, Miyako is interested in the finding more information as well.

Gale closes the door behind her. "I thought you did," he says. "Have you seen the censored messages on the Network recently?"

A small, polite knock on Gale's door is followed by a small, polite girl entering the room and staring at a point six inches to the right of Gale's face.

"Lieutenant Latooni Suvota. I came to join the reconnaissance mission," she said. "And, er, to apologize for throwing a bucket at you."

Gale first check what is so fascinating about the bathroom's door before turning back to Latooni. "There is no need to apologize. You are a welcome addition to the mission."

"Right. Thank you."

No need to dwell on it then. In fact, the faster she forgot what she had seen, the better.

"I have experience in recon, data analysis, and battle damage assessment as well as combat piloting," she reported, "as well as a Support-type Persona and access to an air/ground combat mech that is suitable for long-range scouting. I'm not quite sure how to get that out of the city, though."

"Is a combat mech like a combat drone?" If it was the case, there might be some use to it... if only to create a diversion.

A single knock against your door, some time after the message is sent. Behind the door is Ryou Misaki, waiting for Gale to answer the door.

Gale opens the door, looking like nothing is amiss despite the people gathering in his room. "Yes?"

Haseo took a peak into the room to see just how many people were already there before turning his attention back on Gale. "Yo. I'm Ryou. I'd like to join in on this little expedition of yours, if that's alright?"

"Of course. Come in." The more people he could gather the better armed they would be to face whatever was out there.

Whoops, late!

Maya rapped lightly at Gale's door immediately upon arrival. His message had intrigued her -- there was so much they still didn't know about the city itself, let alone what lay beyond it. It was in her nature to be curious -- she was an investigative reporter, after all, and Gale's message implied that there was a scoop to be had here. One way too big to pass up.

"Gale? It's me!"

Smiling faintly at the sound of her familiar voice, Gale opened the door for her. "It is good to see you."

"It's good to see you, too," she told him openly, inclining her head as she stepped through. "I'm glad I caught you. I would hate to think that you'd gone on this investigation without me."

"You are just in time. We were just about to leave."

THE TRIP

With his team gathered, Gale sets off for Scorpio. To avoid being followed straight to their true destination, Gale has planned to take a less direct route, going to Aquarius, Capricorn, Sagittarius and then finally Scorpio, where he will get off one station early.

In the interests of stealth and anonymity, Latooni did indeed leave her Wildraubtier secured aboard the Nadesico. Instead, she follows along with the mission quietly and in civilian clothes, ready to call up her Persona at the first sign of trouble, at least to see enemy positions if not attack anyone.

She's also got the cameras she attached to her normal glasses set up to record to a flash drive rather than broadcast via COMP. Whatever happened here would probably be valuable information.

Gale kept mostly quiet throughout their travelling, discreetly checking out his surroundings every time people got in and out of the tram car. He had no doubt about being in the right for seeking answers. He simply knew that whatever he and his group would find, the government would not appreciate them knowing about.

Only two stations left...

Desco is being SUPER DISCREET, because she really does understand the importance of stealth! Her tentacles have been absorbed into her back, she's actually - shudder - closed the eye on her forehead and let her hair cover it, and her fake mustache is firmly affixed to her face.

Currently she's staring out the train window, her tail wagging with delight.
