[OPEN] Dog Wrestling
Who: Yamato and YOU
Where: Capricorn Ward - early evening
Format: Begins in prose, but I'll follow
Summary:Playing Training with Cerberus by fighting it with one's bare hands. Who's up for Demon Tangoing?
Warnings: Sharp claws and sharp teeth.
It had been a very long time since Yamato had last done this - probably not since he was in his earlier teens. Life had been too busy, his duties had taken precedence, and the Chief of JP's couldn't really risk being seen playing with his demonic familiar, after all. One had to maintain a certain image, even for the lower subordinates.
Now, however, he had no need to maintain image or even care about it. Yamato had reached rock bottom as far as his 'reputation' was concerned, and there was a bizarre sort of liberating feeling about it. He didn't have to care anymore, and after reuniting with his old time demonic familiar, Cerberus... well, if Yamato wanted to let off steam and relax by partaking in old plays, then he will!
Although, he made sure to do it in a somewhat deserted place - like the park in Hinoto-Ri. The sun was beginning to dip in the horizon, turning the sky into an indigo colour, and Yamato thought he was just out of sight from the main path. Hopefully anyway. His coat and phone was neatly set to the side, Cerberus - who nearly up to his shoulder in height - stretched and-
Well, they played. Playfighting was the best way to learn how to strengthen one's body through use of spiritual energy. The human body was weak, but it could be reinforced if one knew how to use their spiritual power in that way. Resist Physical - it was a natural ability of Yamato's by now. So there was no issue in wrestling his large, demonic familiar to the ground and initiating a round of playfighting. He trusted Cerberus not to use its claws or fangs too much.
Of course, if you're just walking through the park, as an average passerby, it would look like a man was in the middle of fighting for his life with a giant beast...

So yeah, of course he had to hear a snarl that broke his train of thought very quickly. Looking around, he quickly sees the fight - is that a man pinned under that demon over there -
nonononONONONONONONONONO NOT IN FRONT OF HIM NOT WHILE HE CAN
He starts moving faster, a hand already traveling under his layers of clothing to pull his rider's belt and medals from his pocket. Some of these demon guys were intelligent enough for reason, right? He'd try that first. But if it takes a turn for the worse...
"Hey! Hey, stop! Leave him alone!"
no subject
There was a brief pause where Yamato and Cerberus turned to look at the man running towards them, and it took Yamato a second longer than usual to realise - oh dear, this would look a bit suspect.
"Ah, wa-" Yamato tried, but was promptly drowned out by Cerberus's warning growl.
Oh this was going to end horribly.

... Sorry, this next part is hard to describe. HAVE A VIDEO!
So yeah basically in a swirl of bright lights and a completely inexplicable theme tune this dude is now the MASKED HERO OF YOUR EMBARRASSING CHILDHOOD DREAMS and is currently tackling the hell out of your creature sidekick. He is definitely strong enough to rip Cerberus off of Yamato, but probably didn't make much distance; he'll be back on a foot and a knee, his claws extended and ready to hit it again.

By day, she's using the city in order to distract herself and, well, unwind in a way. But sometimes, her thoughts would drift back to that night. Tch.
Finishing off the last of her takoyaki, Miyako threw away the container into a bin and walked.
...Well. Wasn't that a familiar sight...
She stopped at a fair distance, watching her brother playfighting with Cerberus.
no subject
Before he spotted Miyako in his periphery.
He straightened up properly, holding up a hand to stay Cerberus's preparation for a lunge. "Miyako?" he called.
no subject
She walked over towards them, glancing at Cerberus and then back at her brother. Seeing the two of them together like this was rather nostalgic. For a brief moment, Miyako thought of another demon she knew from her childhood.
"Training again?" She suspected it was because playfighting was fun.

If Yamato's paying attention, he'll see a giant red bird fly towards the both of them, and feel a gust of wind as it rushes towards Cerberus. The source of this red bird has drawn his sword, which seems to glow in the darkening light.

Cerberus growled.
"Cerberus," Yamato said sharply, lifting his hand up and curling his fingers into the thick mane. He hauled himself up then, sitting up properly as the demon sat down next to him, still staring at the forest. Hm, it was getting dark... perhaps the other, less friendly demons, were beginning to wake up.

"Do you make a habit of wrestling demons?"
no subject
Yamato tilted his head back, still lying on the floor, to peer up at the man from upside side. Cerberus was looming over the prone human, its yellow eyes intent on Lanister with a faint wrinkle to its muzzle. It was otherwise silent, though.
"Not a habit, no. Why, do you wish to try it yourself?"

"Hrngh?" Yamato replied, holding Cerberus's snapping jaws away from his face. It required a lot of concentration and strength, so he was obviously a bit distracted. "Ah, nh, no, he... from home... since childhood..."

"C-Cerberus..." Yamato growled, trying to push the demon off of him with little success, before he gave up and let his head fall back against the grass - and allowing him to catch sight of Naoya in his periphery.
"..." Well. Um. Awkward.

Daichi wasn't even doing anything in particular that day; he usually spent his time just sort of wandering around aimlessly, and...he probably shouldn't have been given the heavy bandaged on his right hand and wrist but eh, what were you gonna do. Though once he stumbled upon this sight, he would've wished reeeeaaally hard that he hadn't done the stupid thing some weeks ago.
"H-- Hey--!!"
No time to wast then-- he immediately pulled out his cellphone and-- tried to, have enough coordination to press all the buttons properly with his left hand, finally summoning Wukong from his phone, who proceeded to tackle Cerberus as Daichi ran to cover the rest of the distance.
"Yamato--!" (boy he really hoped he made the right guess ahahah twins) "You alright?!"
no subject
Yamato wasn't concerned though, even if Cerberus looked like it was trying its best to murder him. Cerberus could very easily overpower Yamato and bite his head off if it wanted to, and although it wouldn't make it easy for Yamato to fight back, it wouldn't intentionally injure him too badly either. He was just a bit disgruntled that Cerberus was putting him on the defensive too often.
He had just managed to shift his legs under Cerberus enough to try and kick him off when - another demon entered the fray, knocking Cerberus aside in a sudden movement. Yamato promptly sat up, ignoring the burn of exertion in his arms when he snapped his head around to pin Daichi with a mildly irritated look.
He could hear Cerberus bellowing angrily at being interrupted - oh, he did not want to be Wu Kong right now.
"Of course I'm alright. I wasn't in any danger," he said, sounding miffed, and started to climb to his feet. His shirt was scuffed to hell and back, with grass and mud stains, as well as a few blood stains from where Cerberus's claws had ripped through the fabric. "Call off your demon."

...He recalled a lot of things.
He knew his presence would be unwanted, but he chose to observe from a distance anyway. He couldn't afford for any of them to come to too much harm, after all. He was far enough so that Yamato could not sense him, yet near enough for....something else to do so.
Though Alcor could conceal his presence from humans (which warranted several titles, such as "the neglected one", "the Faint One", and so on), he did not account for Cerberus' own instincts, which could surely pick his presence out, even at such a distance.
no subject
"What is it?" he asked, lifting a hand to push his fringe out of his eyes. Cerberus rolled over onto its feet, shaking its massive bulk before meandering over to a nearby tree. Yamato gave his demon a confused look before picking himself up and following after it.

Hinoto-Ri didn't have as much forest, but the park was hard to miss. In fact, the city was a strange place, but at least it was interesting, if a little boring. It wasn't too long before she ran into Yamato as she walked from tree to tree, standing from a branch, and watching what was happening. True, most people would (stupidly) assume it was a man fighting for his life with a giant beast, but Lash prided herself in observation. She'd research the other COs she'd be fighting with any intel she could get. For all her immaturity, she was smart and well learned. Just not...polite and used to civilian, well, anything.
What she did know, however, were the screams and looks of people in distress. One could say that she was very good at them, and this man, while fighting, had facial features that didn't look like 'guy who's afraid of what is going on.' So she continued to watch silently, for as long as she could.
Ten seconds later (a new record!), she blurted out, "So is he your pet or somethin'?" If Yamato looked up, Lash was sitting down, dangling her legs over a tree branch that looked way too thin to be able to support her weight properly.

"...no. He isn't. Who are you?" Yamato asked, swiftly standing up and trying to appear dignified. He wasn't sure he achieved it well, as his shirt was smeared with grass and dirt stains, as well as splotches of blood from where Cerberus's claws had nicked him.

A giant demon dog was attacking Yamato...wait...
...Even if Yamato hand it under control, it would probably be a good idea to check what was going on, so off he went, taking out his old cell phone as he broke into a jog.
no subject
As of now though, his aching arms were currently trying to keep Cerberus snapping jaws away from his neck. It was a weak point all humans possessed, and Cerberus liked to make sure that Yamato could defend it well enough - even if the demon got a little too close for comfort at times. Yamato could feel the demon's whiskers brush against his cheek he was that close.
Miraculously though, past Cerberus's snarling fangs, Yamato spotted someone running towards them in their peripheral - just as his arm gave way and Cerberus's jaws closed around his throat. He flinched despite himself, feeling the tips of the beast's fangs dig right into the skin of his throat before it stopped abruptly. Ah, that could have been messy.
...although from the outsider's perspective it probably looked like Cerberus was in the process of ripping out his throat.
