Summary: The demons have been acting a little wilder than usual...and it seems the Jacks themselves are preparing for Halloween?
Warnings: Really, embarrassingly silly demon antics. No combat!

There was a sort of electricity in the air all throughout the city, with the usual buzz of people inhibited slightly by how many damn demons had been out and about. Most of them had been rude and crass, but there was one large clan that hadn't been acting as outright mean and threatening- the Jacks.

In fact, there was a whole assembly of Frosts out and about in Scorpio, going to stalls and shops to procure decorations and masks for the coming of halloween. Demons celebrated it just the same as everyone else, but they seemed especially excited.

In fact, some of them were being a little easily riled, and were dancing around after one of the poor, bewildered artists with an iPod in their hand.

"Hoo, sex-hee lady~~~"

...someone, might want to try to help corral the Frosts before they get in trouble. ~~Or at least get the damn iPod away from them~~

"I... feel like I've just succumbed to some sort of paralysis attack. But I can't stop watching..."

Beside him, a boy looks on with a mesmerized expression on his face.

"They don't even have knees... How are they kicking like that?"

For all we know this is some kind of weird attack....

[Tsuna is a born pessimist.]

Where did these things come from? Are creatures like this.... normal here?

...Huh?

[Atsuro snaps out of it long enough to cast a surprised glance at Tsuna.]

This is your first time seeing demons? ...Is this your first day here, then?

................[sigh...]

Is it that obvious?

[Yeah, everything about this kid screams 'neeeeeewb']

Well, yeah, if you're surprised by a Jack Frost. These guy are probably the friendliest demons you'll ever run into. They almost like humans, even.

[Atsuro shrugs slightly.]

Don't worry about it. You'll get used to it soon enough. ...You know the general gist of what's going on here, right? The guy with the mask explained it?

Do the rest.... not... like humans?

[Nervous now.]

Um, yeah....

I mean, he told me what was going on, but...... I don't think I really understood half of it.

Back where I come from, almost none of the normal demons were friendly. ...But it seems like there are some exceptions here; they actually seem to have distinct personalities besides 'kill all humans'.

[Atsuro shrugs slightly and laughs.]

Yeah... it's pretty confusing at first. Basically, you're here to defend the city against these guys.

[He points at the Jack Frosts.]

Uh. Not them, they're good. Just demons in general.

Th- there were demons in the world you came from? I mean, just wandering around and attacking people?

[cripes and he thought his world was dangerous....]

So.... we're here just to fight?

[Story of his life. It seems like he can never escape fighting.]

To, ah, defend the city.

[Atsuro tries to put it in a more positive light.]

There are humans who don't like what we're doing, either. You'll probably fight them at some point.

We have to fight other people too?

[That.... doesn't sound all that positive.]

Why would any of the people here be against defending the city?!?

Because they're totally out of their minds, I guess. I don't know. There's always people like that, in any situation.

[Atsuro looks slightly disgruntled. People who wanted to see a city fall... People who would take advantage of a demon invasion to hurt others to their heart's content.]

[Right. People like Byakuran. He sighs again, resigned.]

Yeah.... There's people like that everywhere...

[And there's innocent people who wind up as victims of those people.]

Have... have you fought with any of them yet? Or any of the.... demons?

Yeah. The first day they started bringing us in.

[Atsuro casts his attention back towards the dancing Frosts.]

It's not like it's all bad, though. There haven't been any attacks since then - most of my time is spent playing games, honestly.

Must have been tough....

[Tsuna's gaze follows Atsuro's and he watches the Frosts thoughtfully.

He could understand that there would always be some people who would hurt others for power or material gain or whatever, but what about the demons? What are they fighting for? What do they want?

But instead of asking any of the questions swirling around in his head, he glances back at the other boy and offers a hesitant smile.]

So, umm..... I'm Tsuna.

Atsuro Kihara.

[He turns with a slightly brighter smile.]

It's nice to meet you! ...If you're not keen on this kind of thing, they let you go home whenever you want. But I hope you stick around.

[As the boys chatted, they might have noticed one of the frosts pulling away from the pack; he'd been watching the humans as much as they had watched the frosts. Eventually, he decided to go over to them, tumbling out by his overly long hat flaps, and tripping on his oversized shoes on his way there.

Yes. It is the feared ~~Moe~~ Petit Frost, and it seems to be peering up at the both of you! Run! Flee! Brush your teeth to avoid cavities!]

U-um...hee-llo...?

[Tsuna still takes a step back and eyes the thing warily. He's got way too much experience with cute little things being extremely dangerous to not be on guard.]

He- hello?

Huh?

[Atsuro turns and faces the most adorable demon that has ever come into existence. Though he ought to be wary about this kind of thing by now, it is totally impossible to be cynical in the face of adorableness personified.]

Hee-llo! I mean. H-Hi! ...Nice dance you guys have got going!

You're hoo-mans! Reeal ones!

[The frost presses it's hands together bashfully, turning back and forth for optimal adorable.]

Um, a-are you heere to dance too?

Of course we are.

[Odd that it seems so curious. With all the people in this city, he'd have expected them to see humans every day.

And it's almost cute enough for him to feel bad about not joining their dance. Almost. But it is non threatening enough that Tsuna is starting to relax a little.]

Er.... no. I think I'll just watch...
