The Search for the Newcomers, November 2012 Edition.

Who: Open to Everyone, but only Newly Accepted Characters can start threads.
Where: All around the city, anywhere from the 5th to the 20th.
Summary: Newcomers arrive and by now the Government is more ready and sends everyone out to go people hunting.
Warnings: ARRIVALS. Also assume the first thread is the ones who tell you about the city, and the other tags for the character can be talking with others in the city and learning more about it.

[FOR THOSE IN THE CITY:]
They were getting much better at this, it was for certain.

The COMPS had been upgraded with a new program, HORUS which allowed them to spot abnormalities; if something or someone showed up suddenly in a city that was constantly scanned, then there was a high probability it was a newcomer. There was also a sort of left energy from the travel; the Wise Men called it leftover Magatama Residue, where the magical energy used to pull them to this world and keep the String intact was still faintly present around them. It wouldn't last more than a few minutes, however, and due to the fact they could appear in most parts of the city, it made finding the newcomers was both easy yet frustratingly difficult. As the blips appear on your radar function, they were nice enough to calculate for you the best transport and destination routes to take to get there.

Now it was just left up to chance and make sure you got there fast enough that you were still able to find them relatively easily. For the most part, the fact they stuck out would most certainly help...

[FOR THOSE WHO JUST ARRIVED:]
You're not in your homeworld anymore. That much is evident. So how do you feel? Happy? Sad? Troubled? A little of all three? No matter what, the memories of a butterfly man named Philemon are fading like a dream; you'll remember the details, but perhaps not everything he has said.

There is one word that stays with you, however.

Persona.

So...here to save the city, huh? First you'll need to find out more information. And who knows, maybe a familiar face or two...

[OOC: As stated above, only new characters can start a thread, but feel free to jump in any of them. characters arrive with their clothing and whatever items they had on them the moment they were taken; the remaining items will be later found in their apartments.]

[She is relieved to see it is actually a person, and calms down a little. Her hand goes to her chest and she lets out a big sigh, trying not to pay attention to the 'no shirt' part. Though her little cheeks flush uncontrollably.]

It's dangerous? [She looks up, concerned, and stammers out.] Where am I?

"You're in Hinoto-Ri now. You've been dragged in because someone thinks you have potential to save the world, or something like that." Shura wasn't sure. I mean, look at Nanako...

"Still, a little girl like you shouldn't be out in the open at night. Demons come out during the Thirteenth Hour."

[hope_adjacent]

Hinoto-Ri . . . [She quietly repeats to herself, but finds that she cannot recognize it. Then perks up with a quizzical brow at the 'saving world' bit.] Potential to save . . . the world?

Demons? Thirteenth Hour? [She is so very confused, but decides it would best to find shelter first.]

I don't know where to go?

Oh. Right. You haven't met the government yet, have you? You don't have an ID?

The . . . government? ID? This is all so confusing, aaah.

[She just had to take it one step at a time.]

Where do I need to go to get the information I need?

"The town hall in the Leo ward has an office for that," Shura explained. "They'll give you your guest ID and an apartment to stay in while you're here. I can take you there if you want."

[hope_adjacent]

[She composes herself a little more, and holds a closed fist to her chest and nods with cute determination.] If that wouldn't cause too much trouble, yes please.

If not, then you could tell me and I can find it on my own.

[demifemme]

"It's not trouble, the train's not far. At worst I can carry you over the turnstile and we can make a run for it." She grinned. That was a joke because you look young and light.

[hope_adjacent]

[Her eyes widen.] M-Make a run for it? Oh, I don't know, I'm a little heavy.

[demifemme]

"It was a joke." Not to mention Shura has demon strength anyway. She can probably lift Madoka with one hand. "Let's go."

And Shura starts heading for the nearest train station.

[hope_adjacent]

[Madoka blushes a little at not catching the joke, but follows on soft toes behind.] Have other people gotten lost like this before?

"Oh yeah. I just got here last month and it was confusing as hell. And I'm not even one of the first ones who arrived."

I'm glad you seem to be so well-adjusted now! There is hope for my friend and I just yet. [Cute giggles.]

Oh Madoka. If only you knew how unhinged Shura could be, you wouldn't be saying that. "Haha, don't worry about it."

After an uneventful train trip that luckily did not involve any turnstile jumping, they arrive in Leo, at the city hall. Fortunately, there is someone staying late to man the extraterritorial guests booth. A few minutes later, Madoka will have received her COMP, her ID, her monthly amount of money, and the location of her apartment. Yes, an apartment just for her!
