The Search for the Newcomers, December 2012 Edition.

Who: Open to Everyone, but only Newly Accepted Characters can start threads.
Where: All around the city! They appear where you want them to appear.
Summary: Newcomers arrive and by now the Government is more ready and sends everyone out to go people hunting.
Warnings: ARRIVALS. Also assume the first thread is the ones who tell you about the city, and the other tags for the character can be talking with others in the city and learning more about it.

[FOR THOSE IN THE CITY:]
They were getting much better at this, it was for certain.

Last month's initial testing of the HORUS system had worked really well. The device which allowed everyone to spot abnormalities; and now even more refined, they could hone in on newcomers at a much faster pace. The leftover energy from the travel (commonly called Magatama Residue) gave them a few minutes to find them before it would flicker out.

Combined with the fact they could appear in most parts of the city, it made finding the newcomers was both easy yet frustratingly difficult.

As the blips appear on your own radar function, it was also nice enough to calculate for you the best transport and destination routes to take to get there. Speed was of the essence, after all.

[FOR THOSE WHO JUST ARRIVED:]
You're not in your homeworld anymore. That much is evident. So how do you feel? Happy? Sad? Troubled? A little of all three? No matter what, the memories of a butterfly man named Philemon are fading like a dream; you'll remember the details, but perhaps not everything he has said.

There is one word that stays with you, however.

Persona.

So...here to save the city, huh? First you'll need to find out more information. And who knows, maybe a familiar face or two...

[OOC: As stated above, only new characters can start a thread, but feel free to jump in any of them. characters arrive with their clothing and whatever items they had on them the moment they were taken; the remaining items will be later found in their apartments.]

[ Teddie had gone back to the TV world for a little bit, just to enjoy it being back to normal, but for some reason, he had woken up here. It wasn't too surprising for him; Teddie was used to the environment changing on him in the TV world. However, he was very concerned, as this place only changed when someone other then himself was in here. Frowning a little bit, he starts to walk in a random direction, his little feet squeaking as he did so. ]

Sensei? [ He says it tentatively; Sensei had just gone home, after all. ] Yosuke? [ The second name he says a little stronger, since he knows Yosuke probably would investigate in Sensei's place. His ears twitch as he sniffs the air. ]

This is beary strange...

Squeaky feet, twitching ears and tails and big eyes. Congratulations, you have hit the Grand General of Hell's weakness for cute things. She did not just squealed at you at all, either. You are hearing things.

[ Teddie looks at the other in surprise, wondering what in the world he just heard. His ears twitch again. ]

"You're so cute! What kind of demon are you? I've never seen you before!" For a moment there she might have sounded like Rise. If Rise ever talked about demons.

"I'm not a demon, I'm a bear!" Teddie said, smiling. He then leaned a little closer to the girl and may or may not have wiggled his eyebrows.

"So you think I'm cute?"

"You're adorable!" Shura shouts as she throws her arms around the bear's head.

[Yu stopped dead at the familiar voice calling out for their sensei, eyes slowly widening. No way... Teddie was here now too?! He hurried around the corner, catching the familiar sight of the fuzzy bear.]

[...a broad smile might have just spread across his face.]

Teddie!

[ There is a moment where Teddie looks at the other. He couldn't believe it, Sensei had just left them!! Blinking and then giving the other a big smile, he hurried to him to almost tackle him into a hug, all happy tears and everything ]

Senseeeei!!!

[Yu had to take a step back in order to keep himself from landing on his back, but that didn't keep the smile off his face. He managed to wriggle an arm free from Teddie's bear of a hug, ruffling the fur on top of his head.]

It's good to see you here, Teddie.

[ Teddie finally pulls back from the bear hug and grins to the other, waving his arms ]

It's even better to see you, Sensei! How come you're back in the TV?

[TV, what? Yu shook his head.]

This isn't the TV, Teddie.

[...now that he thought about it, he never tried pressing his hand against a TV here. He wondered if it would work...]

Yosuke? Hey I know that name! You a friend of his?

[Look! It's like this guy's an even taller Kanji, only this guy looks like a punk.

...Wait, was that guy's feet squeaking?]

[ Teddie looks at the very tall man and nods ]

It's more like he's a friend of Teddie's!!

[Outside of the apartment buildings, one familiar small girl is busily turning a snowbank into an army of small snowmen. The thing is, each of these snowmen bears a striking resemblance to Teddie. Nanako decided to work in miniature after the unpredictable weather kept melting her bigger creations.

She's too absorbed in her work to realize that the real Teddie is nearby yet, but maybe he'll notice her first?]

[ Teddie walks past her at first, then back tracks when he notices the snowbears. Looking at the girl, he gasped, squeaking on over to her ]

Nana-chan!

[greaterdays]

[She looks up at the sound of his voice, and turns towards him, eyes wide...]

Teddie?

[bearpuns]

[ And he tears up, hugging her close ]

Nana-chaaaan!

[greaterdays]

[she, of course, hugs him back.] Teddie! You're really here!

not here???

[handshakegreeting]

[Well... That makes for another of his friends. This reality sure is drawing quite the crowd.

Sorry Dorthy Teddie, you aren't in Kansas Inaba the sea of the unconscious your home, anymore. That totally wasn't a bit of fog disappearing around the corner, either.]

[ Teddie's ears twitch as he sniffs, but he waves it off internally and presses on. ]

[Yosuke is just walking his bike down the street when he he hears an all-too-familiar voice calling out his name. Wait. No, no way.

Looking in his direction, the teen's face turns into a look of utter surprise.] Teddie, is that you??

Yosuke!! [ And there is a tackle hug for you too, Yosukeface! ] I knew you'd be here, slacking off of work.

WHOA!! [And he is flying off of his feet and onto the ground as the big happy bear suit tackles him.] Hey, get off of me you dumb bear!! I'm not slacking, I have the day off!

Yeah right! I come in here to try to make sure things are still okay, and I find it like this!! [ Even though they are arguing like siblings, Teddie's happy to see him ]

[Teddie is pretty much his little brother, and Yosuke would be lying if he said he wasn't happy to see him too.] Dude, calm down, what are you talking about 'coming in here'? Do you even know where we are?
