The Search for the Newcomers, December 2012 Edition.

Who: Open to Everyone, but only Newly Accepted Characters can start threads.
Where: All around the city! They appear where you want them to appear.
Summary: Newcomers arrive and by now the Government is more ready and sends everyone out to go people hunting.
Warnings: ARRIVALS. Also assume the first thread is the ones who tell you about the city, and the other tags for the character can be talking with others in the city and learning more about it.

[FOR THOSE IN THE CITY:]
They were getting much better at this, it was for certain.

Last month's initial testing of the HORUS system had worked really well. The device which allowed everyone to spot abnormalities; and now even more refined, they could hone in on newcomers at a much faster pace. The leftover energy from the travel (commonly called Magatama Residue) gave them a few minutes to find them before it would flicker out.

Combined with the fact they could appear in most parts of the city, it made finding the newcomers was both easy yet frustratingly difficult.

As the blips appear on your own radar function, it was also nice enough to calculate for you the best transport and destination routes to take to get there. Speed was of the essence, after all.

[FOR THOSE WHO JUST ARRIVED:]
You're not in your homeworld anymore. That much is evident. So how do you feel? Happy? Sad? Troubled? A little of all three? No matter what, the memories of a butterfly man named Philemon are fading like a dream; you'll remember the details, but perhaps not everything he has said.

There is one word that stays with you, however.

Persona.

So...here to save the city, huh? First you'll need to find out more information. And who knows, maybe a familiar face or two...

[OOC: As stated above, only new characters can start a thread, but feel free to jump in any of them. characters arrive with their clothing and whatever items they had on them the moment they were taken; the remaining items will be later found in their apartments.]

[Outside of the apartment buildings, one familiar small girl is busily turning a snowbank into an army of small snowmen. The thing is, each of these snowmen bears a striking resemblance to Teddie. Nanako decided to work in miniature after the unpredictable weather kept melting her bigger creations.

She's too absorbed in her work to realize that the real Teddie is nearby yet, but maybe he'll notice her first?]

[ Teddie walks past her at first, then back tracks when he notices the snowbears. Looking at the girl, he gasped, squeaking on over to her ]

Nana-chan!

[greaterdays]

[She looks up at the sound of his voice, and turns towards him, eyes wide...]

Teddie?

[bearpuns]

[ And he tears up, hugging her close ]

Nana-chaaaan!

[greaterdays]

[she, of course, hugs him back.] Teddie! You're really here!

I am! What are you making?

[ Teddie looks at the snow bears, and smiles ]

[greaterdays]

I'm making Teddiemen! [See don't they look just like you... ....Actually they probably don't unless you know that's what she was going for. But she tried.] The big ones kept melting, so I decided to make lots of little ones instead.

They are the best snowbears! They look just like Teddie.

[greaterdays]

[She giggles.] I'm glad you like them!

But, I didn't know you were in the city too, Teddie.

I just got here! Though, this isn't the TV then? I thought it was.

[greaterdays]

The TV...? [Nanako still doesn't understand you guys and your 'TV world' discussions.] This is Hinoto-ri. It's Japan but, um... not our Japan.

How is it Japan without being Japan? [ These are questions Teddies may ask! ]

[greaterdays]

[this is hard to explain, especially since Nanako only has the basic idea to begin with. But she will do her best for Teddie.]

It used to be Japan like ours, but something bad happened and now there's just this city. But we were brought here to help save it with our Personas.

[yes, she said 'our'...]

Oh! [ It makes total sense now. ] Teddie will do his bes---Wait, did Nana-chan say our bearsonas?

Not 'bearsona', Persona! [Nanako-sensei knows these things, Teddie.] But... you already have one, right, Teddie?

Yep! Kintoki-douji is my bearsona! [ A big smile ] When did Nana-chan get one?

[greaterdays]

I think everyone here can use one if they try! Mine is "Loveline." Like from the TV show! ...Do you want to see?

Of course I want to see! [ Always for Nana-chan!! ]

[greaterdays]

Okay, um... Come out, Loveline!

[She makes a v-type pose with her fingers, much like how the Persona looks as she appears.]

[ TEDDIE IS IN AWE! ]

She's so pretty, like Nana-chan! What kind of abilities does she have?

[greaterdays]

I haven't used her that much yet, but she can heal... and see what Personas people have, and shoot a beam of light. I don't really want to use the last one, though.

I understand! Kintoki-Douji does a lot of things too, like healing and Ice Spells!

[greaterdays]

That's your Persona's name? I want to see it sometime, too!
