Who: Yamato Hotsuin, Ideo Hazama, and those who signed up for examinations (or who otherwise wants to get in on this if you missed it)

Summary: Those with experience regarding demons, or are demonic themselves (or perhaps just weird), being called in to allow themselves to be prodded and poked and examined.
Warnings: You'll have to suffer from Yamato and Ideo's tender mercies.

After being subjected to the curtness of the Sagittarius Labs's chou-keshin receptionist, all those that have come to their assigned appointments will find themselves shuffled into a bland looking room, with uncomfortable stiff-backed seats and glossy out of date magazines on the small coffee table. There will also be that annoying clock that ticks just a bit too loudly and slowly for one's tastes, and that heavy silence that makes you whisper when you talk to people, even though there's no reason to.

Welcome to the Waiting Room.

After waiting for a few moments (or hours, depending on how early you came, and how delayed Ideo Hazama and Yamato Hotsuin were), you will be called in by Ceu to meet with one of the young geniuses. Prepare to be poked and prodded my friends, this is what you signed up for.

[OOC: Okay so basically we decided to do a catch all examination log, for those that are interested (as I know a few are). Me and Gaa split it up between us as well, so it's easier on us, and we can share the burden of tags. Who you will get is entirely random.

Again, only those that have experience with demons/are demonic themselves/or otherwise magical in some way can take part in this log. This is for SCIENCE]

Atsuro has similarly failed to notice bunny-ears dude as well at first, but after refamiliarizing himself with all the functions on his COMP (not that he could ever really forget Hell Week), he glances back up to gaze aimlessly around the waiting room again.

".......Oh - Hey! Are you here for the exams, too?"

...What, hold on, let him put his hoodie down.

"Hey! Yeah, I figured I might as well. You too, huh?"

"We're probably going to end up producing identical results." Although Kaito was the Shining One and therefore probably a superior test subject in every way. Atsuro shrugs slightly as he stands up and reseats himself closer to the other boy.

"I thought it wouldn't hurt to let them test things out. I'm still curious to know if all the demons from our combined worlds come from the same source."

Not necessarily. Personally, Kaito always viewed it as a term of endearment rather than a statment of actual power but, eh...

"Yeah, that seems pretty likely. Only thing I heard was that they're teleported in from...somewhere." So there has to be like a demon world or something, right?

"Like we get teleported in from somewhere? Or do you mean something else?" He was pretty sure something called magnetite had to do with the presence of demons somehow or other but the specifics had never been terribly clear.

"Basically that, yeah. A friend of mine and I actually wondered about that, and it kinda made sense."

He was told about magnetite too but

"But if butterfly-mask-guy is teleporting us in to fight the demons... what's bringing in the demons in the first place?"

The plot thickens.

That made him silent for a little bit, and he looked at his magazine again, leafing through the pages and thinking before lifting his head again.

"I'm not sure...but it's not like they just got here, right? It seems like they've been around for awhile." Of course, the same thing could totally be said about where they came from! It was just that demons here were apparently common knowledge or something? Which was pretty weird by itself...

"If they're not native to this world, someone or something must have called them here." Atsuro frowns as he briefly considers the ramifications. "And if it's anything like my world... there has to be something keeping them here. The 'server'."

"...Server?" He sat up at that, suddenly way more intent than with his usual 'staring off into space and thinking' business.

"Like a computer server? ...Makes sense. I mean I doubt the butterfly guy is sending them in."

"Yeah. A literal one where I come from, with total control over all the demons." Atsuro glances over towards Kaito. "How was it like in yours?"

.....Um.

"We never actually saw a server, but if that's where the requests go for demons, then I'm gonna assume it's in space."

....So.

"Oh."

Atsuro blinks for a few moments.

"Yeah, I always forget about the September things something. Maybe whatever was controlling them was functioning as your server."

"That's what I'm thinking. It kept summoning demons like it was no big deal!"

Let him tell you, it's tough fighting ~~God~~ the Administrator.

"Right... if something like that is responsible for what's going on here..." Atsuro pauses for a moment. "Hey, maybe the entirety of the Mictlan is a demon server."

"You think?" He never thought about it that way, but it made sense...

"There are a lot of demons there...I thought it was just being guarded because of all the demons, but...what if they know about it?"

"The people in charge here?" Atsuro looks briefly surprised. "Why wouldn't they want us to get into something like that? They want the demons out, don't the -- "

And then he realizes that he is about to be led away by a Pixie to help run some experiments.

"...Oh. ......But not if they only want some demons out."

"Right? Might be why they wanna look at our apps."

But, even if they took that into account...Kaito sighed and almost spaced out looking at the wall space next to Atsuro's head.

"I wish we could get in there and actually see what's up."

"Well. If I know anything about these kinds of situations, we'll find a way in. Eventually." Atsuro gives a shrug. "We'll probably discover all kinds of uncomfortable truths and shocking reveals, but it wouldn't be as exciting without them! In the meantime, I guess we have to stick to being 'examined'..."

"Pffft, come on. What is this, a video game?"

Wait, shhh, don't answer that.

"Guess you're right, though. Who knew you needed to go to a doctor for them to look at a phone app." Although, considering how Fumi went about studying the thing, there was probably a reason for it.

"Or game app."

Atsuro responds mildly. His knock-off DS was way cooler than your phone though, just saying.

"You think they're almost ready to take a look yet? It's been a while..."
