Please take off your shoes for the examination...

Who: Yamato Hotsuin, Ideo Hazama, and those who signed up for examinations (or who otherwise wants to get in on this if you missed it)
Where: Ideo's Swank Bachelor Pad For Two (And His Sister) Sagittarius Labs
Summary: Those with experience regarding demons, or are demonic themselves (or perhaps just weird), being called in to allow themselves to be prodded and poked and examined.
Warnings: You'll have to suffer from Yamato and Ideo's tender mercies.

After being subjected to the curtness of the Sagittarius Labs's chou-keshin receptionist, all those that have come to their assigned appointments will find themselves shuffled into a bland looking room, with uncomfortable stiff-backed seats and glossy out of date magazines on the small coffee table. There will also be that annoying clock that ticks just a bit too loudly and slowly for one's tastes, and that heavy silence that makes you whisper when you talk to people, even though there's no reason to.

Welcome to the Waiting Room.

After waiting for a few moments (or hours, depending on how early you came, and how delayed Ideo Hazama and Yamato Hotsuin were), you will be called in by Ceu to meet with one of the young geniuses. Prepare to be poked and prodded my friends, this is what you signed up for.

[OOC: Okay so basically we decided to do a catch all examination log, for those that are interested (as I know a few are). Me and Gaa split it up between us as well, so it's easier on us, and we can share the burden of tags. Who you will get is entirely random.

Again, only those that have experience with demons/are demonic themselves/or otherwise magical in some way can take part in this log. This is for SCIENCE]

Otoha came on the late side, as his sleep schedule called for being awake at night unless he really had to otherwise. It wasn't like his experience with demons was really in-depth. Most of what he had dealt with were the mikura, which were... different.

When he was directed to the room, he looked around it and started pacing. It felt like a doctor's office, and he absolutely hated those. The rare times when he had to be in one there was always poking and prodding and remarking on his 'condition'. So Otoha paced, backwards and forwards, looking a bit like a trapped animal as he waited.

Shura arrived early for her morning appointment, freshly showered after her morning run and with freshly clean clothes to boot: long jeans, a black long sleeved T-shirt and her winter hoodie. If she was gonna meet some admirers, she might as well look her best, no?

For now though, she sat in the waiting room, looking at her running shoes while pondering means of shutting up the clock.

Naoya arrived early, his COMP in his pocket and a few pages of notes tucked in with them. He waited calmly in the room, torn between amusement and boredom. Honestly., they should have called him sooner. If they were looking for information on demons... well. Though he didn't know everyone in the city, he seriously doubted that there were many with the same kind of experience as him.

The demons here seemed to be very similar to the ones in his world. It was fascinating, really. Perhaps they were from the same demonic world. Maybe it was through this shared world that some of them were able to be drawn.

He sat back, theorizing while he waited for lack of anything better to do.

While he was waiting, Kaito busied himself by kicking back and leafing through one of the magazines. Hmmm.

How to make your home more inviting, huh?

...A minute didn't even pass and he was totally engrossed in the article.

Desco's tentacled bulk is laying on the floor, the toothy maws of the many tentacles slightly open and releasing soft snores.

Desco's child body, meanwhile, is lying on top of the bulk, stomach down, her legs waving in the air as she leafs through an outdated children's magazine - the kind with puzzles and games.

Atsuro settles down in the quintessential waiting room, glancing around to see if anyone he knew had volunteered for this. Somehow, he didn't think either Kazuya or Naoya were interested in being examined.

Since there didn't seem to be anything else to do in the meantime, he takes his COMP from his pocket and begins to scroll through. It had been a while since he had summoned any of his demons... Hopefully, they didn't get bored waiting in whatever strange space they occupied when their assistance wasn't needed.

Io entered the waiting room a little early - punctuality is one of the principles of a good academic career, and it had become more of a habit to her than anything else.

Chances are you'll see her with a reference book on Hindu mythology, trying to puzzle out its various internal inconsistencies.

Kazuya hated waiting rooms, and it was clear by how he languished about in his seat, heaving great, heavy sighs of irritation with every occasional loud tick of the clock.

He hated that clock. He wanted to totally obliterate it from existence.

Strangely, he wasn't in his cape - he felt that they were probably going to make him do physical stuff, and a cape would just get in the way. His headphones were still there though because he was not Kazuya without Cat Phones!

COFFEE BREAK UST TIME

Ideo had barely left the lab since the early morning hours, and was beginning to assume that he wouldn't see the sun any time soon. Still, he had enough coffee and fruit preserves to last him a few years, if he needed to.

There was a small, pathetic little "break room" off the lower labs, which was where most downtime occurred. The kitchen area had not much more than a toaster, fridge, french press, and a microwave. At the four-person table on the other side of the room, Ideo was intently trying to apply honey to a slice of toast, it's pair already slathered with lemon jam. Odd? Of course. But he wasn't going to risk getting crumbs all over the couch. He'd surely start a war with it's empress if he did.

OK so Daichi wasn't stupid, but he wasn't exactly the most aware guy when it came to...government-y, science, official crap like this. At least not when the world's impending doom wasn't looming overhead. So when he got nagged (by multiple people) to get down to Sagittarius, he had maybe a vague idea on what was going on, but he didn't really know exactly what was happening.

Honestly, he was thinking about just turning around and leaving, when it was taking so long, but waiting around a little didn't hurt. Still, he was just kind of messing around on his cellphone, not really expecting much of anything from the red tape.

Oh this would be interesting, she had a feeling. Normally her species would avoid medical checkups, but after that attack from the creature that looked like a darker Samus (Dark Samus if you will), she realized it might be better to see how exactly she was fairing. Probably not what the two had in mind, but hey, she clearly fit their SCIENCE requirements, right?

Besides, she was going to make it fun. Woe be unto them.

Yet far be it for Gandrayda to just stand around waiting, mind you. She was standing up, leaning on the way, waiting until she was called in. There were probably no doubts that she wasn't normal, considering the nearly see-through well...everything.
