Where: Ideo's Swank Bachelor Pad For Two (And His Sister) Sagittarius Labs
Summary: Those with experience regarding demons, or are demonic themselves (or perhaps just weird), being called in to allow themselves to be prodded and poked and examined.
Warnings: You'll have to suffer from Yamato and Ideo's tender mercies.

After being subjected to the curtness of the Sagittarius Labs's chou-keshin receptionist, all those that have come to their assigned appointments will find themselves shuffled into a bland looking room, with uncomfortable stiff-backed seats and glossy out of date magazines on the small coffee table. There will also be that annoying clock that ticks just a bit too loudly and slowly for one's tastes, and that heavy silence that makes you whisper when you talk to people, even though there's no reason to.

Welcome to the Waiting Room.

After waiting for a few moments (or hours, depending on how early you came, and how delayed Ideo Hazama and Yamato Hotsuin were), you will be called in by Ceu to meet with one of the young geniuses. Prepare to be poked and prodded my friends, this is what you signed up for.

[OOC: Okay so basically we decided to do a catch all examination log, for those that are interested (as I know a few are). Me and Gaa split it up between us as well, so it's easier on us, and we can share the burden of tags. Who you will get is entirely random.

Again, only those that have experience with demons/are demonic themselves/or otherwise magical in some way can take part in this log. This is for SCIENCE]

That didn't take long! See, this is why being on time for things is good. She keeps up with the unique Pixie easily.

"Well, yes," she said simply. "I'm not surprised to see you here for some reason, either."

Oh dear. She knows about the 'Couch Emperor'.

"Yes, I have been working here for several months with Ideo," Yamato confirmed, either unaware of ignoring the fact that Io's knowledge of him here meant she knew all about the Couch Empress nickname.

Damn that Pixie...

"...in any case, I will be frank. To properly examine the Summoning App, we will require a measure of your spiritual energy. I still remember your results from our world, but there may be changes due to different environments and time," Yamato said, his tone brisk, "Therefore I will be giving you a physical, today."

Io knew better than to doubt Yamato's qualifications. He was just too good for that.

"All right then. That shouldn't be hard..." she said, beginning to unbutton her jacket.

Yamato hummed, turning away from her but lifting a gloved hand in a gesture to follow. "Come over here. You can sit on the examination table."

She nods and does so, finishing up so that her arms are exposed. She'll hold off on taking anything else off for now; even though the tight security at this lab meant that it was far less likely to happen, she'd heard that there'd been peepers at the last medical examination she'd had.

"We'll begin with the bare basics. Firstly, your blood pressure will be taken, and I will also listen to the rhythms of your heart. You will need to remove your blouse for that," Yamato said, his tone utterly flat as he stopped by the table, opening the drawer to rummage about in it. "I remember your measurements from your first physical with JP's, however as some time has passed since then, I will take them again for accuracy's sake."

He knew that usually female doctors or nurses did this for women, but he had no lecherous interest in Io, and knew that the woman was smart enough to know this as well.

At first she reacts with a twinge of distress, but then she realizes this is Yamato she's dealing with. Romance is so low on his list of priorities it might as well have been the lowest thing.

When he turns around, it'll be a couple seconds before it's off but rest assured the blouse will be off soon.

Romance is troublesome and confusing so yes, it is the lowest priorities - and Io just wasn't his type anyway.

Yamato turned around, the blood pressure metre and stethoscope in hand, and moved over to her side as she began shrugging off the blouse. He did give Io's breasts a glance, although he seemed disgruntled about them. They were so big - it was going to be troublesome listening to her heart unless he told her to lift them up or something.

"Blood pressure first. Extend your arm."

Yes, the wonders of inflataboobs. They have gotten many a girl into trouble, and for some reason most of the other girls in her Fate Viewer during the incident had them.

She just nodded, holding out her right arm, palm face down with her hand extended.

Yamato wrapped the cuff just above her elbow, and placed the stethoscope ends into his ears as he began to squeeze the pump, tightening the cuff to discomforting levels, holding it, and then releasing it. He paused, listening to her pulse, and watching the metre, before tutting and lowering the stethoscope.

"Normal," he murmured, jotting that down on the clipboard before moving to take off the cuff. "Heartbeat now. Your breasts are in the way, so lift them up for me, unless you want me to do it for you."

Yep, awkward.

"Oh, no, I'll do it."

She lifts up her chest, which should allow him to use the stethoscope as intended.

What follows is probably incredibly awkward for Io. Yamato, of course, was completely professional (and uncaring), as he pressed the diaphragm of the stethoscope just below the underwire of her bra, leaning in slightly with his knuckles brushing against her hands lifting up her breast.

Yeah.

Awkward (for Io).

"Take a deep breath and hold it," Yamato ordered, still remaining in place.

Right, focus... He needs the information. He is not interested in you.

Okay.

"Let it out slowly," Yamato ordered, and waited as Io followed his commands before pulling back. He scribbled on the clipboard, tugging the stethoscope down to rest around his neck. "Normal..."

He set the pen down, and turned to Io abruptly. "Get off the examination table and stand before me, Nitta. I wish to check your proportions and balance."

...Exhale. She feels relaxed.

Releasing her chest, Io stands up, trying to maintain even pressure on each of her feet.

"Extend your arms before you, and spread them wide to the side, before bring them before you again. Do not bend the elbows," Yamato said, picking up his clipboard and taking a few steps backwards to get a better look at Io.

Okay good.

"Then," he continued, "I want you to walk several steps towards me and then back to your original spot. After that you will repeat it three more times in various ways, such as walking on the balls of your feet, walking on the heels, and then walking in squat position on the balls of your feet. After that I will then check your spine's curvature."

This was certainly an interesting exercise... She runs through the simple steps in her mind, before executing them; often failing to notice she leans slightly forward.

The last one was just ridiculous, and she fell backwards once while attempting it, but she got the hang of it after that.

The falling got Io a negative look and a small 'tut'. Apparently that didn't score well for her...

"Hmm..." Yamato didn't say anything though, and he set aside the clipboard and pen. "That's enough. You may stand up now. I'll check your back - stand up straight as you can, but not stiffly. Do so in a way that feels natural for you."

All right, so that didn't go quite right. It's not a big deal, act naturally...

Her posture is ever-so-slightly more bent forward than what would otherwise be normal.

Yamato was so totally unsurprised.

"Your breasts affect your balance. Do you get back pains often?" Yamato asked, moving to press his hand against Io's lower back - and the other against the centre of her chest, just between her breasts to force her to straighten up a bit more.

That doesn't sound good... we may need a chiropractor. We may even need Gold Finger. But she's a bit young to need something like that consistently.

"I don't..."

Yamato made a small, surprised noise. "Hm, I would have thought... no matter. If you start to develop pain later in life, strengthening the traps here," he pressed his hand against the muscle just above Io's shoulder blades, "will help."

Yamato moved away then, picking up his clipboard and jotting something down. "Flexibility tests now. Lie down on the examination table."

That was good advice, but Io elected to save her gratitude for later. For now, she laid on the table as requested.

Yamato lowered the clipboard onto the unoccupied space of the examination table, and tugged at the end of his gloves to make sure they were on securely. Now onto the truly AWKWARD part of the examination - well possibly for Io. As usual Yamato was briskly professional.

"I will be touching your legs, just so you're forewarned. Remain relaxed, and if you feel any pain, notify me," Yamato said, moving his hand to grip just above and behind her knee, and the other onto her shin, lifting her leg up and bending it until the thigh was completely vertical, and the knee bent at ninety degrees.

She continues to remind herself that Yamato is acting as a professional and is not crushing on her.

No pain here, whichever leg he was raising.
