The 13th Hour - GENERAL LOG
The 13th Hour
◐
Who: AnyoneWhere: The entire city
When: This week
Summary: This is a General 13th hour log.
Warnings: That depends who is there
Music: This
When it is darkest, men see the stars...
The snow was falling softly in the night sky when the heavens turned red again. The nearly black sphere of the upcoming new moon meant the monster population wasn't overly aggressive and the creatures wouldn't offer much challenge.......or that's what was supposed to happen.
That night, there was a strange pull. The demons had acted odd that day, but even when asked, they were unsure why. To keep the population safe, the mayor had asked the city to stay inside that night and let the city police and visitors do their job.
It was a good thing he had. As the first minute of the 13th hour continued, something happened...the signature tail in the sky of something appearing, much like when the Guests had shown up. Only this time it was hundred of such little signals. The sky was filled with them, and people were ushered inside buildings as much as possible. Something was wrong.
Something was very wrong.
New creatures began to move around the city. For some, it would be creatures they might have wanted to forget. Yet for others, this would soon be forgotten when not flesh but stone, rock and metal, rose from the very ground, pieces of their homeworld reborn in Hinoto-Ri...
Extra Long OOC Blurb
[(Make sure you read it!) Alright 13th hour post!
This will be up to you on what you want to do; start a new post where you can character's name and OPEN and write the days they'll be wandering during the 13th hour. Join other people's post, do some exploration, post them fighting monsters and just have some fun leveling up / interacting! For this log only You can level a persona twice meaning if they are used in a post with one group and in a post with another group, you can level up your persona twice. The conditions is that the fighting must happen on two different days. You can do this with only one persona, however.
For the buildings, each one gets its own thread. The original owners who submitted will be the first to see them, due to a strange pull that made they feel like they NEEDED to go to that area. What they do with this information is up to them; they can contact others in their group, start exploring by themselves or allow the thread to be open for others to come in with them...it's all up to you. That next morning, the government will be coming over to analyze them (that will be done offscreen, however).
FOR THE CREATURES 1) The creatures have to be in the Beastary for you to use them. You don't need to use creatures from your own home worlds either, as long as someone's put in a creature in there! No boss characters that night, since it isn't a full moon. Also make sure your characters could logically take onthe creatures you pick let's not have them take down a giant tree when they couldn't normally.]

CLOCK TOWER
Part 1 - Closed to Terra-Xehanort
The tug, however, makes her sit up. Glance out the window. Something's out there. Something she needs to find. She pulls her shoes on, throws a coat over her striped pajamas - not her Organization coat, that one's down in her room, hidden somewhere where she could forget about it since she hates the damn thing - and hurries out of Aqua's apartment (making enough noise to probably wake up a certain someone), down the stairs and outside.
From there, she's slipping a little through the leftover snow from over the weekend, but making her way steadily towards the edge of Virgo and Pisces Wards. There's something there. Something she needs to find.]

It gives her enough awareness, at least, to slow down from a run to halting footsteps (keeping moving, she found, made the tug less of a distraction). But all the same, she knows she hears something that seems out of place. Hinoto-Ri may seem safer than being on the run but she still has to be careful]
I-Is someone there?
no subject
Finally, around a corner, he hears a rather familiar voice and blinks in surprise.]
Xion?
no subject
Hey. Why are you out here?
[She doesn't say it reproachly, merely surprised. She doesn't go out often during the 13th Hour herself. Tonight's an exception. Maybe it was for him too?]
Did... you feel a tug too?
no subject
[He gives her a rather inquisitive look. He hadn't felt a direct compulsion outside of his own desire... was there another force at play?]
I wanted to see what was going on, why they said we should stay inside. You were compelled to come out?
[He gestures loosely, indicating for her to keep going in the direction she'd been headed. If she had a destination in mind, it would save time to walk and talk together.]
no subject
Yeah. I have to find... something.
I know... which direction it's in. At least I think I do. But I don't know where it is.
(no subject)
Also we gotta pick a monster from the beastiary...

PART 2 - Open
First she inspects the front steps and outside, then the interior train platform and ticket booth, and finally, finally she heads up to the overlook, where she and Roxas and Axel had spent so many days eating ice cream and staring at the sunset. She sits down, sliding her feet over the edge as she stares out over the city from her new vantage point.
It's not the same, in fact it's a little eerie during the Dark Hour. Especially with her shivering slightly from still being in nothing but pajamas, coat and shoes. But it's familiar. Almost like a little piece of home.

... Yen for your thoughts?
[... He takes off his trenchcoat and holds it out to her. Little girls shouldn't be out in the cold like this.]
no subject
She's equally startled at the offer of the trenchcoat, but as cold as she currently is, she deigns to take it and slip it over her own shoulders. At the question though... she tilts her head to the side.]
Huh?
[She's never heard that particular expression before.]
no subject
[He leans against the side, looking out at the city. It's cold up here, but it doesn't bother him too much. The sight of a city sprawling below him is enough for him to feel fine, even if the weird light is strange.]
no subject
[Xion turns her gaze back out on the city, and is silent for a long moment.]
This place... it's from home. I don't know how it got here but... [She shakes her head] It's really strange to see it again.
no subject
[He's not sure he'd want anything from home to show up, anyway.]
Is it a bad thing?
no subject
I don't think so. It's just... I haven't been able to see it in a really long time. ...My friends and I used to come here all the time, though.

Still, by the time he had been awake enough to figure out what was going on, she was already gone. The one thing that stopped him from chasing after her right away, even in his pajamas, was the cold. He had hastily tossed on the first reasonably warm clothes he could find (and grabbed one of his little sister's hats, sleepily remembering that he had seen her running out in nothing but her PJs and a coat) before running out, not sure of where exactly to look but determined to do so anyway.
He had grown even more determined when he had realized that there was something...strange...about everything. It had taken him a little bit to piece everything together, but then he realized that this must be the "13th Hour" that he had heard about before. So that meant there would be a lot of monsters and stuff, right? He had been tempted to go back in and put on the clothes that the fairies had given him, just in case he needed to use Limit Form or something, but finding Xion was more important. Sure, she could take care of herself, but he was still worried.
That's what siblings did, right? Worry about each other?
Thankfully, after a bit of monster fighting (thankfully, he hadn't run into anything too dangerous), his (apparently) random searching had taken him to the right place, though one that he didn't recognize. In fact, he was almost sure that it was new. He had noticed a few other places that he hadn't seen before along the way, too. Could it just be because of the 13th hour?
Well, either way, he made his way up to the overlook of the clock tower he spotted Xion sitting on, still wondering why in the world she was out here right now.]
Xion? [He walks over, and sits down next to her.] What are you doing all the way out here?
no subject
A part of her feels like it'd be better to ask why wouldn't she be here. Instead, though, she looks down at her knees.]
Sora... did anybody ever tell you about a world called Twilight Town?
no subject
[Sora tried to remember if he had heard the name before. It wasn't one of the worlds he had visited before, and he couldn't remember anyone ever mentioning it. There was that one world that showed up on the Gummi Ship map that Chip and Dale had told him to avoid because of the Organization, but he had never asked about that world's name.]
No, I don't think so.
no subject
That's what this place- [she rubs the railing they were sitting on to indicate the building] -is from. I don't know how it got here, but...
[She shakes her head]
Back... back when Roxas and Lea and I were in the Organization... we used to come here every day after we finished our missions and eat ice cream. We would just sit here, right where we're sitting now, and talk about... anything. Things seemed so much simpler back then...
[Only they hadn't been, and really that was more her nostalgia talking than anything, because there had been plenty of complicated, confusing, and problematic periods back then if she really wanted to be honest with herself. But right now she didn't, she wanted to focus on the good memories, not the bad of this place.]
After we left, though... We couldn't come anymore. They knew we spent a lot of time here, so it'd be one of the first places they'd look.
no subject
[But how did it get here? Sora didn't know, but that didn't seem like a big deal right now. Xion just wanted to enjoy the moment, and maybe that want was rubbing off on Sora somehow, too. He looked away, staring out at the view of the city. No wonder they had liked up here it so much - it was pretty amazing.
A happy place to be with friends, where everything seemed simple. That sounded kind of like the play island where he and Riku and Kairi always spent time together. Only...unlike Xion and her friends, they've had a chance to go back there.]
Well, once we stop the Organization, you guys can go back here again whenever you want, right? And, until then, now you have it here.
[He starts thinking again, absentmindedly fidgeting with the hat he's holding, and then he remembers why he had it in the first place.]
...oh! That's right, I brought this for you. Aren't you kind of cold?
[He holds the hat out to her, hoping that she takes it. She looks like she probably needs at least a little more than what she wore out here.]
no subject
Xion?
[She tries her hardest to yell loud enough for the girl to hear, but it might still be muffled.]
no subject
She calls back down.]
Kairi?
[She could probably go down and see, but she is reluctant to leave the overlook just yet...]
no subject
[She waves a little, bouncing on her tip toes as she strains to make out Xion up there.]
Can I come up?
no subject
[Really, she had no problems with Kairi coming up
and she may have ended dragging Kairi along with everyone else up there over the next few days if she hadn't. Normally she'd be a bit more worried, what with all the monsters that were apparently out roaming the streets, but for now, between the fading rush of adrenaline and the aftermath of awakening her Persona, exhaustion seems to be settling in more firmly the longer Xion sits there.]Do you need help finding the way up?
no subject
[And in Kairi goes, ready to make the climb.]
