When it is darkest, men see the stars...

The snow was falling softly in the night sky when the heavens turned red again. The nearly black sphere of the upcoming new moon meant the monster population wasn't overly aggressive and the creatures wouldn't offer much challenge....

...or that's what was supposed to happen.

That night, there was a strange pull. The demons had acted odd that day, but even when asked, they were unsure why. To keep the population safe, the mayor had asked the city to stay inside that night and let the city police and visitors do their job.

It was a good thing he had. As the first minute of the 13th hour continued, something happened...the signature tail in the sky of something appearing, much like when the Guests had shown up. Only this time it was hundred of such little signals. The sky was filled with them, and people were ushered inside buildings as much as possible. Something was wrong.

Something was very wrong.

New creatures began to move around the city. For some, it would be creatures they might have wanted to forget. Yet for others, this would soon be forgotten when not flesh but stone, rock and metal, rose from the very ground, pieces of their homeworld reborn in Hinoto-Ri...

Alright 13th hour post!

This will be up to you on what you want to do; start a new post where you can character's name and OPEN and write the days they'll be wandering during the 13th hour. Join other people's post, do some exploration, post them fighting monsters and just have some fun leveling up / interacting! For this log only You can level a persona twice meaning if they are used in a post with one group and in a post with another group, you can level up your persona twice. The conditions is that the fighting must happen on two different days. You can do this with only one persona, however.

For the buildings, each one gets its own thread. The original owners who submitted will be the first to see them, due to a strange pull that made they feel like they NEEDED to go to that area. What they do with this information is up to them; they can contact others in their group, start exploring by themselves or allow the thread to be open for others to come in with them...it's all up to you. That next morning, the government will be coming over to analyze them (that will be done offscreen, however).

FOR THE CREATURES 1) The creatures have to be in the Beastary for you to use them. You don't need to use creatures from your own home worlds either, as long as someone's put in a creature in there! No boss characters that night, since it isn't a full moon. Also make sure your characters could logically take onthe creatures you pick let's not have them take down a giant tree when they couldn't normally.]

Indeed. Though I am rather loathe to use this fool... still, I have a tournament to prepare for. I'll just hope there's little trouble.

*She summons her Persona. Said Persona looks, briefly, like a fairly congenial man in a robe. ...then he opens his eyes. That is not a sane look.*

These creatures are new. Interesting. I shall have to study any remains they leave. It could be quite profitable. Old man! Smash their atoms.

*The Persona gleefully charges forth, smashing away.*

[Lacking a Persona of her own, Atoli sticks to the smaller Rue Bezels and uses her own skills.]

Vak Don!

[And then one of them was struck by small meteors and died.]

Oh dear, have you not unlocked yours yet? Consider it a mixed blessing, I suppose. Some things ARE easier to accomplish with one's own might anyway.

*She commands the 'Old Man' to zap a few more enemies. Once she's observed how quickly they fall to the lightning magic, she chortles and launches a few bolts of her own.*

They may be new, but they still fall like dominoes.

It's actually been a couple months, and I still haven't managed to do it...'

[It looks like they're getting noticed. Atoli's still unhurt, and keeps minimetoring the weaker enemies, as the number of enemies around them slowly increases.]

Want her to pull a bitch move to help awaken the Persona?

*The Persona called Ballos gleefully continues his reign of destruction, until a rap on the head from Misery's staff makes him glare at her.*

DO calm down and let me step in here. We can't be draining our reserves right off the bat. You're not as powerful as you think you are, you know. Tch.

*Ballos grins manically at her, as if amused by some sort of unspoken irony. She turns back to Atoli.*

Is that so? I think I could expedite the matter, if you should so choose.

*She spots one of the enemies approaching. Closing her eyes, she chants -- and now said enemy is RIGHT OVER ATOLI and falling.*

[She looked up.]

[There is a sound like glass shattering. A blue-green pattern of lines might be visible across Atoli for a moment, but the blue aura that usually accompanies a Persona summoning probably drowns it out.]

[When it dissipates, a vaguely angelic-looking figure is visible.]

I am Innis, the Mirage of Deceit... The pull of the Wave shall be in thy favor, Epitaph-bearer.

[A projection of energy from its hand pierces the falling Fat Lancer and violently hurls it aside.]

Oh my, that's an interesting looking one! There, you have a Persona now. Never let it be said I'm not a helpful soul. Ho ho ho.

*Ballos is grinning WAY too widely at this whole scenario.*

[It's super effective! Atoli is still momentarily shocked. Fortunately Innis picks up the slack and casts Aqua on one of the lancers.]

...Um, your Persona's smile is...

Ignore him. He's a maniac. Just be thankful he's tethered to my mind.

*SOMEBODY apparently has a hard time accepting the whole "Persona as a representation of self" thing.*

[Atoli isn't quite sure about that aspect of this whole thing.

But she wants to be friends with this person anyway.]
