When it is darkest, men see the stars...

The snow was falling softly in the night sky when the heavens turned red again. The nearly black sphere of the upcoming new moon meant the monster population wasn't overly aggressive and the creatures wouldn't offer much challenge....

...or that's what was supposed to happen.

That night, there was a strange pull. The demons had acted odd that day, but even when asked, they were unsure why. To keep the population safe, the mayor had asked the city to stay inside that night and let the city police and visitors do their job.

It was a good thing he had. As the first minute of the 13th hour continued, something happened...the signature tail in the sky of something appearing, much like when the Guests had shown up. Only this time it was hundred of such little signals. The sky was filled with them, and people were ushered inside buildings as much as possible. Something was wrong.

Something was very wrong.

New creatures began to move around the city. For some, it would be creatures they might have wanted to forget. Yet for others, this would soon be forgotten when not flesh but stone, rock and metal, rose from the very ground, pieces of their homeworld reborn in Hinoto-Ri...

Alright 13th hour post!

This will be up to you on what you want to do; start a new post where you can character's name and OPEN and write the days they'll be wandering during the 13th hour. Join other people's post, do some exploration, post them fighting monsters and just have some fun leveling up / interacting! For this log only You can level a persona twice meaning if they are used in a post with one group and in a post with another group, you can level up your persona twice. The conditions is that the fighting must happen on two different days. You can do this with only one persona, however.

For the buildings, each one gets its own thread. The original owners who submitted will be the first to see them, due to a strange pull that made they feel like they NEEDED to go to that area. What they do with this information is up to them; they can contact others in their group, start exploring by themselves or allow the thread to be open for others to come in with them...it's all up to you. That next morning, the government will be coming over to analyze them (that will be done offscreen, however).

FOR THE CREATURES 1) The creatures have to be in the Beastary for you to use them. You don't need to use creatures from your own home worlds either, as long as someone's put in a creature in there! No boss characters that night, since it isn't a full moon. Also make sure your characters could logically take onthe creatures you pick let's not have them take down a giant tree when they couldn't normally.]

Err... Well, I worked there too. I spent about five to six days a week there as a part-time worker. And then my friends, my team, kind of used the food court as a base of operations...

[To be honest, he had a much stronger connection to Junes than he really tends to think he does. On one hand, there was some resentment in him towards the place, on the other... it held a lot of really fond memories.]

[Were you part of a secret club or something, Yosuke.]

Err... We're a group called the Investigation Team. [Awkwardly rubbing the back of his head.] We were investigating a series of murders that happened in our town last year.

[Staaaare. Wow Yosuke, what the heck were you up to in your world?]

A series of murders... Aren't you kind of young to be getting mixed up in that kind of thing? You couldn't just leave it to the cops?

[...Then again, there were many ways the cops could have their hands tied regarding certain cases, but c'mon it's not like the Blade Children were likely an issue there.]

Cops aren't exactly the best at handling supernatural junk... The murders weren't all that conventional. Plus one of the members on our team is a legitimate detective anyway, she carries a firearm and everything and she's younger than me.

[He shrugs a bit.]

Supernatural? Supernatural how?

Was the murderer secretly a vampire or a werewolf? And even though all of the evidence pointed at it, the cause of death was so bizarre that nobody would believe it?

[That... sounds like a completely different story there, Hizumi.]

Err..... well you got that last part right? The murderer would shove people into this other dimension through TVs, where they'd get killed by this like... evil version of themselves.

[Did that sound ridiculous enough for you yet? No?]

I mean the murderer was a human guy- a cop, actually. A real asshole one. But the one who orchestrated the whole thing and created the alternate dimension and kind of set him off was a death goddess.

Well. That was a thing to hear.]

You know, if we were anywhere else, I'd have a really hard time believing any of that.

[...... yeah..... yeah. He sometimes barely believed it himself, really.]

Hah, I know what you mean... you can imagine why we didn't go to the police with it. It sounds like you have experience with this kind of thing too, though?

Not personally, but after you've met a god or two, you kind of have to keep open-minded to these kinds of things.

I gotta say though, it sounds like pretty much everybody here's had a really interesting life. I wonder if I should be jealous?

You at least had a pretty good guess, even if vampires weren't involved.

[Yosuke gives him a funny look, though.] I'm just a normal high school student that got wrapped up in some funny events... I mean you're here now, aren't you, isn't that pretty exciting? And apparently you've met gods and stuff!

Only because I came here, though! [...Except for meeting with Kiyotaka, but that's its own can of worms.]

It's different when it's something that happens where you come from. Or at least, that's what I think.

Hey you shouldn't be jealous of me or anything, what happened in Inaba was hell to go through... A lot of people died, including someone I was close to, and we nearly got killed ourselves a number of times.

It was just pure luck that I even got involved, it could've been anyone in town. If you're looking for excitement you'll definitely find it here.

Aaah... I guess... That's probably the price of an adventure, huh?

[People will die, and there's no guarantee you'll actually win at the end.]

Yeah, I guess so... [He used to be pretty excited about it himself... he learned that there's consequences to this sort of thing, though. Big ones.] It really isn't worth it.

Then I guess the only question that leaves is...

Did you end up victorious, at least?

In the end, we managed to save a lot of people from being killed... and we prevented a really major disaster from happening...

So yeah, we did win in the end, but we had to go through a lot... I'm glad for the friends I met because of the whole ordeal, but I would've given up the whole adventure to save the people who did die because of it.

But for all your sacrifices, you still managed to come out on top. That's still better than nothing.

Well, you're here now, right? You can make a difference here... Don't feel like you can't. I didn't think I could but I proved myself wrong.

You're making a pretty big assumption there.

It's not an assumption... anyone is capable of getting stuff done and making a difference. With that attitude, though, you're right, you really won't manage anything...

Just give it a shot. There's a ton of stuff around town that people need help with.
