When it is darkest, men see the stars...

The snow was falling softly in the night sky when the heavens turned red again. The nearly black sphere of the upcoming new moon meant the monster population wasn't overly aggressive and the creatures wouldn't offer much challenge....

...or that's what was supposed to happen.

That night, there was a strange pull. The demons had acted odd that day, but even when asked, they were unsure why. To keep the population safe, the mayor had asked the city to stay inside that night and let the city police and visitors do their job.

It was a good thing he had. As the first minute of the 13th hour continued, something happened...the signature tail in the sky of something appearing, much like when the Guests had shown up. Only this time it was hundred of such little signals. The sky was filled with them, and people were ushered inside buildings as much as possible. Something was wrong.

Something was very wrong.

New creatures began to move around the city. For some, it would be creatures they might have wanted to forget. Yet for others, this would soon be forgotten when not flesh but stone, rock and metal, rose from the very ground, pieces of their homeworld reborn in Hinoto-Ri...

Alright 13th hour post!

This will be up to you on what you want to do; start a new post where you can character's name and OPEN and write the days they'll be wandering during the 13th hour. Join other people's post, do some exploration, post them fighting monsters and just have some fun leveling up / interacting! For this log only You can level a persona twice meaning if they are used in a post with one group and in a post with another group, you can level up your persona twice. The conditions is that the fighting must happen on two different days. You can do this with only one persona, however.

For the buildings, each one gets its own thread. The original owners who submitted will be the first to see them, due to a strange pull that made they feel like they NEEDED to go to that area. What they do with this information is up to them; they can contact others in their group, start exploring by themselves or allow the thread to be open for others to come in with them...it's all up to you. That next morning, the government will be coming over to analyze them (that will be done offscreen, however).

FOR THE CREATURES 1) The creatures have to be in the Beastary for you to use them. You don't need to use creatures from your own home worlds either, as long as someone's put in a creature in there! No boss characters that night, since it isn't a full moon. Also make sure your characters could logically take onthe creatures you pick let's not have them take down a giant tree when they couldn't normally.]

[She looks at him, a little sympathetic.]

It seems a lot of strange places are popping up tonight. Is this...is this one from your home?

[It would make sense why he was so shaken about it, if her mom's shop sowed up here it'd probably rattle her a bit too.]

What is it?

It...it's where I used to work.

[He takes another minute or so just to calm himself down. Just because this place is here doesn't mean that person is here. It's just a building. Only a building...]

Um, well, it's a company. They...make stuff. Like inventions and things and...I just didn't really expect to ever see it again.

[She glanced back at the building. He was really shaken...but it was just a building, wasn't it? Still, if he was bothered by it...

She reached out to put a hand on his shoulder.]

Well, it's here now, but that doesn't mean you have to go anywhere near it, right? I mean, if you don't want to.

R-right.

[Of course, the urge is to shrug that hand off, but Sam knows better than to do that. Best to be the one being consoled here, not someone aggressive. So, he only nods, looking somewhat relieved by the thought.]

And really, it's only a building, I don't have anything to be afraid of...

[She brightens at that, thinking he's feeling better already.]

There you go, that's the spirit! It's just a building, no need to worry.

[Suddenly, she has the greatest idea and her smile only grows.]

How 'bout this? If it really freaks you out too much, then we'll poke around together, okay? We'll go in there and prove that there's nothing to be afraid of and that that building can't do anything to us if we don't want it to!

How does that sound?

Mm-hmm.

[He almost sounds like a little kid when he says that, a little boy who has been told that he can go get cookies after he does the chore he hates so much.]

[At her idea, though, he's silent. The first reaction is to say, no, no, he doesn't want her poking around, but...it's inevitable, isn't it? The place is here to stay, might as well go inside and get rid of any blaming evidence that might remain while he's there.]

A-alright. Sure. Um. But let's be careful, okay? I don't know what sort of things might be there...

[She nodded, still smiling, but now a little more determined. Yeah, it could be dangerous, but that was why they were going in together, right? Two heads were better than one!]

Of course! And don't worry, I won't let you out of my sight, no building's gonna get you on my watch!

[She took his hand and started off towards the big, admittedly intimidating, building.]

[He pauses, but then squeezes her hand with his (rather cold) hand in return, following after dutifully like an obedient puppy.]

[As they approach, he looks up at it, eyes tracing the form of the building with a small frown.]

It's quite nice-looking, isn't it...? I heard that they hired some big-name artist to design it for hem.

[Femi couldn't help but be a little in awe of the building herself. It had been a while since she'd seen anything like it.]

It's beautiful....well, for a building. But, then, every rose has it's thorns, right?

[Just because something was beautiful didn't mean it couldn't hurt you...

She opened the door and held it open for the both of them as she led Sam in.]

Nothing to scary yet, at least!

Right...though this is more like the infection sitting inside the rose than anything else...

[He lets his voice trail off at that, not even beginning to explain himself.]

[And he actually has to pause in front of the door, shuddering, before he very cautiously, hesitantly takes a step inside.]

No...but the worst stuff was at the top.

[She glanced back at him, concerned. But he was still willing to continue and so continue they must.]

The top, huh? I wonder if there's an elevator. I guess we can always take the stairs.

Still doing okay?

I-I'd rather not go there-!

[And he stops, shuddering, because NO NO NO he couldn't go up there, what if...that person was there, oh god...]

I don't want to go there...

[She stopped when he did and shot him a concerned look.]

It's okay, Sam...we don't have to. We'll only go as far as you want and turn back when you want to leave.

R-right...

[He nods, like a small child having been told he can no longer watch television if he doesn't do his chores, before continuing to walk in.]

This place wasn't so bad, really, when I worked here...the stuff they made was kind of cool.

[She offers a supportive smile, squeezing his hand again briefly. Her eyes scanned the area they were in as though it would tell her what type of business it was, exactly.]

Yeah? what did they make?

[He squeezes her hand too, eyes traveling around the familiar surroundings.]

Oh, mostly technological stuff. The newest gadgets and stuff were all made here.
