When it is darkest, men see the stars...

The snow was falling softly in the night sky when the heavens turned red again. The nearly black sphere of the upcoming new moon meant the monster population wasn't overly aggressive and the creatures wouldn't offer much challenge....

...or that's what was supposed to happen.

That night, there was a strange pull. The demons had acted odd that day, but even when asked, they were unsure why. To keep the population safe, the mayor had asked the city to stay inside that night and let the city police and visitors do their job.

It was a good thing he had. As the first minute of the 13th hour continued, something happened...the signature tail in the sky of something appearing, much like when the Guests had shown up. Only this time it was hundred of such little signals. The sky was filled with them, and people were ushered inside buildings as much as possible. Something was wrong.

Something was very wrong.

New creatures began to move around the city. For some, it would be creatures they might have wanted to forget. Yet for others, this would soon be forgotten when not flesh but stone, rock and metal, rose from the very ground, pieces of their homeworld reborn in Hinoto-Ri...

Alright 13th hour post!

This will be up to you on what you want to do; start a new post where you can character's name and OPEN and write the days they'll be wandering during the 13th hour. Join other people's post, do some exploration, post them fighting monsters and just have some fun leveling up / interacting! For this log only You can level a persona twice meaning if they are used in a post with one group and in a post with another group, you can level up your persona twice. The conditions is that the fighting must happen on two different days. You can do this with only one persona, however.

For the buildings, each one gets its own thread. The original owners who submitted will be the first to see them, due to a strange pull that made they feel like they NEEDED to go to that area. What they do with this information is up to them; they can contact others in their group, start exploring by themselves or allow the thread to be open for others to come in with them...it's all up to you. That next morning, the government will be coming over to analyze them (that will be done offscreen, however).

FOR THE CREATURES 1) The creatures have to be in the Beastary for you to use them. You don't need to use creatures from your own home worlds either, as long as someone's put in a creature in there! No boss characters that night, since it isn't a full moon. Also make sure your characters could logically take onthe creatures you pick let's not have them take down a giant tree when they couldn't normally.]

[And off we go, braving the depths of the Thirteenth Hour in search of a couple of demons.

[Aww yeah off to fantastic decisions land!]



[And not a bad demon to face off against either! ...if there was just one of them like planned and two others didn't appear from the sides, their long bodies easily cornering the two into a ring.]

Oh dammit! Three against two! You might want to teleport out of here, I need to do very early a little spring cleaning...

[Hemmed in on both sides, he glances at Eikichi and shakes his head at his suggestion of teleporting away. Guess who doesn't especially care about being outnumbered even if he should?]

That defeat the purpose of accompanying you. [To see how your weapon is used, remember? And now he's eying the surrounding demons. It's an odd sight; a small child in a prisoner's uniform and a teenager with a flamboyant dress sense facing off against three snarling, snake-like creatures. Pharos would fight, buuuut that would require an awakened persona to fight with.] Well, good luck.

[The demons shriek.]

Yeah, but I don't think there's be that many of 'em! Tch annoying. I'll get my hair misplaced after this...

[And then the demons shriek.]

But if you guys want some...come and get it!

[And that's when the guitar case makes a bunch of cracking and popping noises until a small handle and the front open up, revealing it's essentially a transforming machine gun. With a small smile on his lips, Eikichi starts to shoot at them.

Them problem is that there are three and he's only one guy...and this isn'g a video game so they aren't waiting for their turn.]

How do you misplace your hair?

[Pharos asks curiously.

Then Eikichi reveals the mechanics behind his guitar case, opening fire on the enemies, and it clicks. Oh, humans and guns; an effective weapon.

The bullets bite into the scaly flank of one demon, and it squeals in pain, high and shrill and angry. The other two demons squirm easily out of the line of fire, hissing, and came at them with gaping jaws, the third serpentine demon lagging behind, wounded. Haha, no turn-based breaks for you, buddy. One goes for Eikichi's arm or his guitar case (or his arm, either worked really) and the other lunged for Pharos, who jumped hastily to the side, scrambling to get out of the way. ]

[Eikichi would have explained, but there wasn't that much time to do that now right in the middle of an ambush. He flinched as the jaws closed on his skin, but used his other hand to punch it in the face, dropping his guitar case in the process, and if anything, Eikichi's punch was pretty lethal. The beast flew off, but that still left the other lunging one already heading for Pharos.

Truth be told, Eikichi was more concerned with him than his own personal safety, and without picking up his weapon was moving closer to him, the bluish glow underneath him to cal forth his persona. He just hoped there was enough time...]

Shit, watch out!

[If Eikichi was hoping for enough time, he didn't get it; at his warning, he glanced up at him and attempted to do what he suggested. He was quick enough, but he stumbled. The lunging demon clamped its jaws around Pharos' leg, knocked him off his feet and viciously bite down. His startled scream is more surprised than pained, bright blue eyes diluting at the shock of being abruptly introduced to a very foreign sensation to himーphysical pain.

And just as abruptly, it summoned anger.

It was a quiet, instinctive blind anger that was directed towards the teeth sunken into his skin, the anger of a child who had accidently jabbed himself with a pencil and broken the pencil to pieces in retaliation. This demon had no right to inflict this sort of agony on him and the little boy wanted it gone gone gone. In response to this, power kindledー]

[ーthere's a burst of shimmering blue light, the familiar sound of shattering glass and say hello to the Reaper because the Reaper want to say hello to you. It doesn't offer the usual greetings of a persona when its first summoned, just a wordless roar as it exploded into being. Its chains rattled as it floated above them, and it unleashed Twin Shots upon the demon.

It was knocked away from him by the attack. Pharos awkwardly hopped back to his feet after a couple of moments, and staggered out of the way, careful to put no weight on his bitten leg.

Meanwhile the serpentine demon Eikichi punched out is still reeling from the force of the blow, but the one that been wounded by his bullets had recovered and was coming in for an ambush while Pharos' guard was down. Might want to take care of that quick.]

[deathboss]

[Normally Eikichi would have offered a comment regarding his Persona, but this wasn't the time and when whatever compassion he might have shown the demons disappeared the minute they attacked Pharos. You did not mess up with kids, (even if he was a death spirit of some sort) on his watch.]

That's it! You assholes just messed with the wrong guy!

[Hades appears before him, finishing the sentence.]

And now thy shall pay for what thou hath done!

[Okay so it is a little cheesy, but to drive his point home, the Persona casts Mudoon on the creature while Eikichi grabs back his gun, the spell's circle spinning around the demon for a second before connecting. The creature's cry fades into nothingness just as it was about to make contact with the other boy, dissipating into a fine mist.]

A-ah...

[The small boy makes it to the wall, not even noticing Eikichi's brutal vaporizing of the demon about to maim him from behind and leans against it, clenching his leg in confusion. Black, smokey goo is seeping slowly out of the gashes in his skin like blood.

Good job, but there are still two more demons and they are super pissed at their buddy's death. They're shrieking louder than ever.

Luckily, Eikichi's got another Persona fighting on his side so it's a fair two on two this time around. The Reaper turns its one-eyed gaze upon Hades, lifting its long-barreled guns as if thinking about attacking him, then looks at the enraged demons and seems to come to a different decision. It floats over to stand next to him and his summoner, the raggedy black wraith clearly offering its support.

Pharos meanwhile is too distracted by the shock of the pain in his leg to order his Persona about, so the Reaper will be attacking the enemies on instinct.

Ready when you are. Battle start?]

[deathboss]

[During the entire commotion Eikichi had continued running to where Pharos was, before gently grabbing him.}

Hold on!

[Who knows if Pharos would have ever wanted an impromptu ride, but Eikicih had now flung him over his back, careful so that his leg wouldn't be in any pain and he could see the battle clearly.]

Man...they don't know when to give up, do they?

[As for Hades? Oh hell yes, he's ready. The Persona gives the other a nod of acknowledgement, as it raises his free hand in the air, and casts a Debilitate spell on the two remaining demons. See how long you will last with the two of them and your attack, defense and agility decreased.]

[the_usual_stuff]

[Pharos instinctively struggled a little Eikichi grabbed him, but was pulled up onto his back with little resistance. The sudden ride was unwelcome, but appreciated. Confusedly as he held onto the bright blue jacket, he remarked;]

My leg hurts.

[The fact that he's so shocked by this would be actually quite funny if for the current situation. Diluted vivid blue eyes looked over Eikichi's shoulder at the two personea and two demons squaring off in a battle.]

... Persistence, still?

[The Reaper is just rearing to go as well, though it doesn't operate on the same level of intelligence as the other; immediately taking the advantage offered by the Debilitate spell cast on the enemies, it aims a Eiha spell of its own at one of the serpentine demons.]
