When it is darkest, men see the stars...

The snow was falling softly in the night sky when the heavens turned red again. The nearly black sphere of the upcoming new moon meant the monster population wasn't overly aggressive and the creatures wouldn't offer much challenge....

...or that's what was supposed to happen.

That night, there was a strange pull. The demons had acted odd that day, but even when asked, they were unsure why. To keep the population safe, the mayor had asked the city to stay inside that night and let the city police and visitors do their job.

It was a good thing he had. As the first minute of the 13th hour continued, something happened...the signature tail in the sky of something appearing, much like when the Guests had shown up. Only this time it was hundred of such little signals. The sky was filled with them, and people were ushered inside buildings as much as possible. Something was wrong.

Something was very wrong.

New creatures began to move around the city. For some, it would be creatures they might have wanted to forget. Yet for others, this would soon be forgotten when not flesh but stone, rock and metal, rose from the very ground, pieces of their homeworld reborn in Hinoto-Ri...

Alright 13th hour post!

This will be up to you on what you want to do; start a new post where you can character's name and OPEN and write the days they'll be wandering during the 13th hour. Join other people's post, do some exploration, post them fighting monsters and just have some fun leveling up / interacting! For this log only You can level a persona twice meaning if they are used in a post with one group and in a post with another group, you can level up your persona twice. The conditions is that the fighting must happen on two different days. You can do this with only one persona, however.

For the buildings, each one gets its own thread. The original owners who submitted will be the first to see them, due to a strange pull that made they feel like they NEEDED to go to that area. What they do with this information is up to them; they can contact others in their group, start exploring by themselves or allow the thread to be open for others to come in with them...it's all up to you. That next morning, the government will be coming over to analyze them (that will be done offscreen, however).

FOR THE CREATURES 1) The creatures have to be in the Beastary for you to use them. You don't need to use creatures from your own home worlds either, as long as someone's put in a creature in there! No boss characters that night, since it isn't a full moon. Also make sure your characters could logically take onthe creatures you pick let's not have them take down a giant tree when they couldn't normally.]

Shura sighs as well, but offers him a hand to get up. "C'mon, don't stay in the snow like that."

He accepts the hand, considering he's still a little woozy himself. "It wouldn't have been so bad if I'd pulled off the barrier like I wanted to. That thing never works when I need it to."

Shura grinned. "Clearly that means more grinding is in order."

[ghost_shield]

He snorts. "Yeah, I guess so. Though does it really count if it's grinding for your OWN abilities and not your Persona's?" He fiddles with his pendant a bit, mulling this, before putting it back in a slightly more hidden position.

"It so does count!" she assures him. "I'm grinding my Persona right now because I'm not gonna lose the tournament a second time, but if I had stronger targets I could grind myself too!"

[ghost_shield]

He rubs the back of his neck. "I guess so. I've been trying to work on doing that for eons, though. Ever since someone taught me how to use a focus, anyway. If it works like it SHOULD have, the demon should've just bounced right off." He sighs. "I guess it's something to work at ever since we determined I couldn't exorcise properly, or cast attack spells or... anything of the sort." He taps his foot. "We never did figure out why that's the case."

Shura shrugged. "You know, I had a demon that couldn't attack, too. Doesn't mean it wasn't useful. In fact, I couldn't have travelled certain parts of Hell without it. I think we should focus on what you can actually do.

"As for your barrier... maybe it has a chance of working only? I know that in my world Death and Expel spells work in terms of odds of working." And Lucifer knew there had been some close calls.

[ghost_shield]

He smiles slightly. "Thanks, I guess. Sorry, it's been one of those things that's bugged me for eons. You're right, though, I've gotta focus on my strengths. Won't get anything done if I linger on what I CAN'T get accomplished."

He winces. "Oh, great, so you mean I can't rely on it anyway? That's... useful." He sighs. "At least I can get a LITTLE defense out of it, but MAAAAN."

"... or maybe you need more practise, I don't know. I'm not from your world, I'm not an expert on how you work." She's kind of embarrassed now. She didn't wanna break your hopes like this.

[ghost_shield]

He sighs. "More practice doesn't really hurt one way or the other in either scenario, I guess." He fidgets with the cord of the pendant. "I dunno. I guess it's just part of the whole desire to want to tank, at least, if I can't attack."

Shura nods. "Hey, if your thing becomes reliable, we could make you into a brick wall, if we can't make a tank outta you."
