When it is darkest, men see the stars...

The snow was falling softly in the night sky when the heavens turned red again. The nearly black sphere of the upcoming new moon meant the monster population wasn't overly aggressive and the creatures wouldn't offer much challenge....

...or that's what was supposed to happen.

That night, there was a strange pull. The demons had acted odd that day, but even when asked, they were unsure why. To keep the population safe, the mayor had asked the city to stay inside that night and let the city police and visitors do their job.

It was a good thing he had. As the first minute of the 13th hour continued, something happened...the signature tail in the sky of something appearing, much like when the Guests had shown up. Only this time it was hundred of such little signals. The sky was filled with them, and people were ushered inside buildings as much as possible. Something was wrong.

Something was very wrong.

New creatures began to move around the city. For some, it would be creatures they might have wanted to forget. Yet for others, this would soon be forgotten when not flesh but stone, rock and metal, rose from the very ground, pieces of their homeworld reborn in Hinoto-Ri...

Alright 13th hour post!

This will be up to you on what you want to do; start a new post where you can character's name and OPEN and write the days they'll be wandering during the 13th hour. Join other people's post, do some exploration, post them fighting monsters and just have some fun leveling up / interacting! For this log only You can level a persona twice meaning if they are used in a post with one group and in a post with another group, you can level up your persona twice. The conditions is that the fighting must happen on two different days. You can do this with only one persona, however.

For the buildings, each one gets its own thread. The original owners who submitted will be the first to see them, due to a strange pull that made they feel like they NEEDED to go to that area. What they do with this information is up to them; they can contact others in their group, start exploring by themselves or allow the thread to be open for others to come in with them...it's all up to you. That next morning, the government will be coming over to analyze them (that will be done offscreen, however).

FOR THE CREATURES 1) The creatures have to be in the Beastary for you to use them. You don't need to use creatures from your own home worlds either, as long as someone's put in a creature in there! No boss characters that night, since it isn't a full moon. Also make sure your characters could logically take onthe creatures you pick let's not have them take down a giant tree when they couldn't normally.]

Oh? How so? It's the marks, I guess? *She rubs her cheeks where said black marks are plainly visible.*

I guess, but I didn't really notice those much.

You're just a lot tougher-looking than I expected! It's a good thing.

*Shura beams.* Why, thank you! I had to become tough to beat up all the demons in my world who wanted to kill me. I even beat a goddess who was summoned to create a world where only the strongest would survive.

Sounds like you got some interesting stories to tell out of it, though.

[He smirks. She has his interest now.]

*She nodded.* I lived through a lifetime of adventures while I was in my dead world, good and bad. It'd take days to tell all of them, I bet. It really changed me.

It sounds like most people that have been brought here have gone through a lot. But it's good when experience changes us, right? It's often for the better. We learn things.

[demifemme]

*Shura nods.* That's true. I understand how the universe works, now. Mostly. It's given me direction and a goal in life. My path was made of death and sorrow, but I wouldn't change it.

[risetocaesar]

[He grimaces slightly, her comment about sorrow striking a chord with him.]

I think I understand, even if it's on a more personal level. For all the bad things that have happened... I wouldn't change the past. My friends and I had the opportunity to do so, but I was against it. I didn't want the sacrifices of those who had gone before us to go to waste. It felt disrespectful... and it felt selfish.

[demifemme]

Shura nods, but her gaze shifts to the side a bit before coming back to Akihiko's face. "You did good. Changing the past doesn't solve anything at all. What is done is done."

Hypocrisy, thy name is Shura.

[He smiles, though the shift in his expression is so small it could be easily overlooked.]

It wasn't an easy decision to make. But they sacrificed themselves for a reason. I don't think they'd be too proud if we just took it all back.
