When it is darkest, men see the stars...

The snow was falling softly in the night sky when the heavens turned red again. The nearly black sphere of the upcoming new moon meant the monster population wasn't overly aggressive and the creatures wouldn't offer much challenge....

...or that's what was supposed to happen.

That night, there was a strange pull. The demons had acted odd that day, but even when asked, they were unsure why. To keep the population safe, the mayor had asked the city to stay inside that night and let the city police and visitors do their job.

It was a good thing he had. As the first minute of the 13th hour continued, something happened...the signature tail in the sky of something appearing, much like when the Guests had shown up. Only this time it was hundred of such little signals. The sky was filled with them, and people were ushered inside buildings as much as possible. Something was wrong.

Something was very wrong.

New creatures began to move around the city. For some, it would be creatures they might have wanted to forget. Yet for others, this would soon be forgotten when not flesh but stone, rock and metal, rose from the very ground, pieces of their homeworld reborn in Hinoto-Ri...

Alright 13th hour post!

This will be up to you on what you want to do; start a new post where you can character's name and OPEN and write the days they'll be wandering during the 13th hour. Join other people's post, do some exploration, post them fighting monsters and just have some fun leveling up / interacting! For this log only You can level a persona twice meaning if they are used in a post with one group and in a post with another group, you can level up your persona twice. The conditions is that the fighting must happen on two different days. You can do this with only one persona, however.

For the buildings, each one gets its own thread. The original owners who submitted will be the first to see them, due to a strange pull that made they feel like they NEEDED to go to that area. What they do with this information is up to them; they can contact others in their group, start exploring by themselves or allow the thread to be open for others to come in with them...it's all up to you. That next morning, the government will be coming over to analyze them (that will be done offscreen, however).

FOR THE CREATURES 1) The creatures have to be in the Beastary for you to use them. You don't need to use creatures from your own home worlds either, as long as someone's put in a creature in there! No boss characters that night, since it isn't a full moon. Also make sure your characters could logically take onthe creatures you pick let's not have them take down a giant tree when they couldn't normally.]

[Of course, indeed. He might not have had a chance to deal with Heartless ever since being named Master, but really, that only makes him all the more efficient at dispatching them.

He's just cutting through the first of the Neoshadows when he hears her call out for her, head jerking just in time to see a.) her charging in and b.) another new player that enters the field, a darkness that is different to that of the Heartless but familiar to him nevertheless, a Drill Sye that charges in the direction of his friend just a moment later.]

Kairi!

[Technically, he knows hat she has a Keyblade, that back home she is training to fight side by side with them, that she might have learned how to fight in the strange world she had ended up with before this one, just like the Kairi that had been in Promenade with him had started to.

It's rather hard to think of that though, especially since his first instinct is to protect and cover for her anywhere near a battle situation, to make sure that the chance of her getting hurt is as small as it can possibly be.

But instead of casting one of his more powerful spells like Meteor, Mega Flare or even Thundaga, he stands frozen as a voice echos through him (he's heard it before, whenever he had initiated one of these 'Social Links')...

Thou art I... and I am thou...

Later on, he'd find himself comparing this moment to the first time he'd called onto Soul Eater or the moment he had received Way to the Dawn, the surreal awe and wonder at slumbering power being unleashed.]

...Persona.

[He can taste the rush of power on the back of his tongue when blue light shoots up and through him from the ground, a large demon suddenly hovering above him, sea-green eyes (just like his own) gleaming as it cries out and lashes out against his opponents, opening its wings (they look just like the sword he once wielded, the Keyblade he is wielding now), and just like he just knows that this demon is called Shalim, that the attack it is lashing out is called Gale Slash.

A moment later he snaps out of his stupor, worried, but relaxing just a fraction when he notices that the slash had caught the Drill Sye off guard in its run and Downed it. This he can work with.

He takes a deep breath as he lifts his Keyblade again and readies to rejoin this fight properly again. He can ponder about the meaning of soul-emerging demons and voices in his head later on.]

[Kairi would have objected at Riku throwing himself into more danger on her accord, but watching the power swell from within him was enough to take her breath away. That was 'Persona', wasn't it? The power they had all been given, a representation of their inner most self come forth into a physical being...

Kairi couldn't help but grin seeing Shalim-- he was just so Riku.]

C'mon Riku, you can't just show off like that and expect me to stand by idly!

[Her grin only got wider as she looked into her inner self, placing her free hand over her heart. Kairi had this power too, same as everyone else. She hadn't really tried summoning it yet as long as she had been here; the timing just hadn't felt right. But in this moment she knew it was finally time, time to show Riku what she was made of-- no, that wasn't right, show herself what she was made of and how much she had grown, and face off against the monsters that had plagued them ever since that fateful day on the islands. It was time to answer the call.]

Persona!

[Blue light swirls around her, and a beautiful angel burst to life behind Kairi, wings as gold and warm as dawn wrapping around her protectively before fanning out to their full length. Eos, titaness of the dawn, a being created by water and light, who rose from the sea every morning to bring the light with her-- she was perfect.

Her Persona stretched one elegant hand towards a Neoshadow, and a burst of bright light enveloped the creature and knocked it down; a Light based attack, directly hitting its weakness. And with another burst of light Eos disappeared, returning to within Kairi.]

Light, huh... Cover me, Riku!

[Bracing her feet, she grasps her keyblade with both hands, eyes narrowing as she began to lock on to the heartless for a shotlock attack. As long as she didn't get interrupted, she could pull off a strong Light attack and weaken them enough for a strong keyblade user like Riku to finish the deed.]

[She can object all she likes, he will always - always - jump to protect the people important to him without a second thought and it just happens that with her that instinct is at his strongest. He can't exactly turn that off from one second to the next.

He would shout right back - he wasn't trying to show off, dammit come on, even he needs a second to pout every now and then and yes, Riku, this is pouting - but he is too stunned by the appearance of her Persona.

...Well. If his Persona is reflecting him, then her Persona is reflecting her just as much - if not more, beautiful, strong and graceful as it was. Perfect indeed.

He snaps out of it a second later, nodding when Kairi calls out, then cart-wheeling against the next house wall, using it to trigger Flowmotion and launch himself up high so that he'd cross the distance and land close to Kairi, taking out any potentially approaching enemies at the same time.

Time to finish this up!]

[Once she successfully locks onto all of the enemies, she releases Lightbloom, spinning around rapidly as vollies of light orbs shoot out to damage the heartless to their weak points, finishing off with a flourish of her Keyblade.

If they weren't down now, it was Riku's prime opportunity to finish them off.]

[Well, Riku doesn't want to stand around and wait to find out if the Heartless survived the Lightbloom, Keyblade raising as he casts Meteor - that ought to be enough to take care of anything that survived her assault, right?

Then he turns to her, smiling faintly.]
