What: Closing Arena Ceremonies, Part 2
Where: Aries Arena & Televised
Summary: 1/24/10AC
Warnings: This could get serious...but who knows.

Finally it was time for the mayor, Kazuki Sakahagi, to speak up. Not even an thirty minutes left to the celebrations, but seeing him go appeared to be lighting up a spark in the citizens. It wasn't too hard to see why; his enthusiastic grin and way of walking could easily melt anyone's worry away.

He walked to the center stage as cheering broke out, two men in black and Junko Tanako behind him.

She knew it. She knew it.

She knew something like this would happen. Knew that this whole thing was about to go badly, badly wrong. Even worse, hearing the accusations levied at them, the Visitors, her and Sora and Aqua and all the people she'd met... would the people of the city believe him?

She reached out to grab Sora's hand impulsively, like she would do with Roxas if it felt like they needed to run at a moment's notice.

Somehow, she felt like there was still more to come.

He had known it, too. Too many of them had been having that bad feeling yesterday, and everything had been going almost too well up until now.

But the accusations and threats didn't bother him. As far as Sora was concerned for the moment, this was just another bad guy raving and ranting, something that he had heard plenty of times before. They could worry about the details later - right now, they had to pay attention. Something could happen at any second, Sora realized.

He's a little surprised when Xion takes his hand, but he holds onto it for as long as she wants him to, hoping to somehow silently reassure her (even though silent messages weren't always his strong point) that everything would be fine. He and Xion and all of their other friends, along with the other visitors, were strong enough to handle and maybe even get to the bottom of whatever this was. He just hoped that no one...or, at least, not too many people...got hurt.
