Finally it was time for the mayor, Kazuki Sakahagi, to speak up. Not even an thirty minutes left to the celebrations, but seeing him go appeared to be lighting up a spark in the citizens. It wasn't too hard to see why; his enthusiastic grin and way of walking could easily melt anyone's worry away.

He walked to the center stage as cheering broke out, two men in black and Junko Tanako behind him.

Kairi frowns, eyes narrowing as she follows the other girls line of vision. She has to admit this man brings up some points, and she would be a hypocrite to immediately disregard them-- after all, they had been a part of a rebellion group back in Facility, called Deck. She couldn't even condemn then too terribly for the violence, as much as it hurt to think, since they themselves had taken down waves of Consortium supporters in order to gain their freedom. But in the end, she didn't know if everything he said was even true, though her heart clenched at the thought of her easy living having been ripped from the hands of a resident who earned and deserved it. And to speak so lowly of her and the other Visitors... ugh. Kairi would worry about the nitty gritty later. For now, she had to protect the innocent people caught up in this ruckus.

She places one hand on Naminé's shoulder as her sister speaks, nodding a little with a grim and understanding look.

"Let's protect our home, Naminé."
