Finally it was time for the mayor, Kazuki Sakahagi, to speak up. Not even an thirty minutes left to the celebrations, but seeing him go appeared to be lighting up a spark in the citizens. It wasn't too hard to see why; his enthusiastic grin and way of walking could easily melt anyone's worry away.

He walked to the center stage as cheering broke out, two men in black and Junko Tanako behind him.

Riku has dismissed Peepsta Hoo, instead keeping himself ready to summon Shalim - though as long as the enemy is still hidden there is really no need to make himself more obvious than his two Dream Eaters and the Keyblade in his hand make him.

He moves up the stairs, just so that he isn't quite inside the crowd anymore... and a little bit closer to one of the exit points. Just in case it needs defending.

He snorts lightly at the mentioning of ice cream - though he knows it's important... he's tested out the effects as well after all.

'Alright.' Good call, because while she hovers there, she has to keep Eudora summoned to maintain the connections. Still, there is something that she will say. 'Our main goal is to make sure the exits stay clear for those who need to flee. We don't want to prove them right, but all the same we have to protect those who are here.'

They can't logically protect everyone, but they need to defend as many as possible.
